This complex has an RV park, mobile homes, and a motel. Fairly close to the highway, but far enough to not hear the traffic. The park has quite a few permanent residents and the overnight spots seem to be in the row closest to the office. Our site was a long paved, fairly level pull-through that was angled well for entry and exit. The hookups were to the rear of the site. All worked fine, but I had to use an extra hose for the sewer. Sites were divided by a short fence near the back. Only one weak TV station received on antenna. Some sites might get satellite TV since there were a few openings in the trees. Wi-Fi worked better than expected. Office warned me that it didn't work very well when traffic increased later at night. Except for one instance, I was able to use it for browsing and e-mail and even downloading at times. The laundry appeared to be used more for the complex as some of the washers and dryers were off limits to us. The couple of washers and single dryer available did a good job cleaning and drying. The washers do not take money and have to be prepaid for at the office (in same building). No place to lounge, so used our own camping chairs to sit outside. If passing through the area, I would stay here again. We camped at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Restaurant and gas station for Prairie Oasis a block away on the frontage road near the Trans Canada highway. Fast food within walking distance. Tourist info centre (check out the big moose and Snowbirds jet) a couple of blocks away. Walmart and other shopping less than a mile away.

We stayed here for a stopover. It was sketchy all around. Convenient to highway, Tim Horton's, and gas. Washrooms weren't very clean. Found a random pair of pants hanging in the shower. Needless to say we skipped the shower. We slept there, we got up super early and hit the road. It served its purpose for $30. We camped at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This campground is a basic RV park. There are some dividers between the pull through spaces which gives some privacy, but the spaces are all close together. We stayed for just one night. The utility pillar was beat up, but everything worked fine. The playground was a little sparse. The site was gravel, mostly level but with some puddles from thunderstorms. The people were polite. Some of the other RV campers were a little strange - it's hard to describe. It appears that a lot of the spaces were long term campers. I had good cell reception for my N America plan. The WiFi was mediocre. Overall, I would probably stay here again - if it was just for one night. We camped at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed 1 night while passing through. OK for overnighter but that's about it. Electrical connection mounted upside down. Water was horrible. Very strong bleach smell. Emptied send rinsed my hot water tank afterwards, took several days to be rid of the strong bleach smell. If passing through don't hook up to the water. We camped at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex in a Fifth Wheel.

We were originally booked into a 30 amp site, but really preferred 50 amps for this big rig. The staff found us a vacant site in their adjacent park model village. There was a bit of a challenge finding it and getting into it, but once in, we were delighted! Unlike the regular campground sites, we had NO trees and the satellite worked! We had 50 amps and full hookups!
Overall, despite our initial problems, we were very happy with our stay at this campground. We camped at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex in a Motorhome.

We stopped in here for one night on our way out west. we had a really nice spot that backed on to water. It didn't have sewer but not too important for us at the time. We camped at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex in a Travel Trailer.

Summer is busy and even though we phoned to reserve the day before, we were given a spot that had 30 amp service but no sewer. It was also the absolute farthest you could get from the office, thankfully we have a WiFi repeater otherwise we would not get connected. The spot was a back in but was just long enough (with a little of the trailer hanging out the back) so I didn't need to unhook, but a little off level. The site overlooked the river and had a big grassy area which was quite nice. There is a dump station but you need to get the key from the office. The worst part was finding the spot. they gave us a map for directions but things didn't quite look the same in real life as they did on the map. We found it eventually but better signage would be most helpful. There is some traffic noise. laundry is $4.00 for wash, not sure how much for dry.
We would go back. We camped at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex in a Fifth Wheel.

When we arrived we were assigned a site, easy off and on the highway, very conveniently located. We plugged into a 20 amp because all the 30 amp sites were taken. We turned on a few things and the breaker tripped, but it melted our plug before it tripped (tells me something is wrong with the breaker). It was a little noisy as this is a mobile home park as well, lots of residents and they tend to drive throught the sites beside you if they are empty. We contacted the office reference the melted plug and the possibility of the defective breaker and no one seemed to be concerned. We didn't have water as it was too cold out so it wasn't on in the park. There were some large potholes as you pull in so be careful. I might stay again but only as an overnight stay. We camped at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex in a Fifth Wheel.

This park had a great pool for the kids, with a water slide which was awesome! The park was clean and staff were cordial. However, the highway noise was unbearable, if you want to pull an all nighter this is the place to do it, because sleep is out of the question.
