Road to park has a narrow bridge to cross so big rigs should use caution. Dirt park roads and gravel campsites. Our site was a level back-in that had a picnic table in a shared grass area in the back. Electric and water were on shared posts in the back so some hookups will be on the wrong side. Sewer outlet midway. All utilities worked fine. Nice setting next to the river. No cable TV, but 2 channels off the antenna. Wi-Fi signal strong and broad enough for downloads. I would stay here again if ever in the area. We camped at River Park Campground - Wakamow Valley Authority in a Motorhome.Undo

We enjoyed our stay here for 5 days. We had a full service site. The sites are very close together and are set up for smaller units probably because it is one of the oldest camp grounds in Saskatchewan. The staff was very helpful and are well aware of what is going on in the camp ground throughout the day. We were asked to move our car, which was parked in a vacant site, because there was another unit coming in a couple of hours. It is reasonably quiet at night you can hear some trains now and again but no loud train whistles. We camped at River Park Campground - Wakamow Valley Authority in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Missed the turn to the park like many have. Coming south on Hwy 2 after turning off Manitoba, it is the first left turn, in front of the KCF. Address is 300 River Drive for your GPS. While there are sewer hookups, they are all taken (9) by the seasonal campers, so there aren't full hookups for transient campers. Guess gravel must be very expensive in Canada since all of the RV parks needed gravel that we have stayed in during our travels except the one in Winnipeg. This park is poorly maintained and one of our vent caps was damage with tree branch contact. Lot of train noise, but not usually loud except for the hooting which wasn't often. We went on the Al Capone tunnel tour and it was very good. Wi-Fi only next to the office. We camped at River Park Campground - Wakamow Valley Authority in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Wifi very limited area. Cash only accepted for the fee. Shower and toilets require access code but were very clean. There are picnic tables at the sites and racks that can be used for starting a fire or barbecuing. Not all sites do 50 amp or 30 amp. My wife loves this campground. Very nice spa with geothermal heated water in town. Spa has an excellent dining room. Tunnels of Moose Jaw are worth a visit. There is a Flying J fuel station 370 North Service Rd. Grass sites in park by river. Walking distance to downtown and mineral spa. The bridge says there is a 10 ton limit but it seems to be an error as many large vehicles pass over it all the time. We camped at River Park Campground - Wakamow Valley Authority in a Motorhome.Undo
