1 RV Park near Oungre, Saskatchewan
Jun 2012 - $24.00
This is a truly sad and frightening park. At one time, it was clearly a very nice place. Now it has fallen into a state of serious disrepair and worse. The park is filled with long-term oil workers. The restrooms were filthy (about the worst I've ever seen). The grounds were strewn with garbage and beer bottles; we were warned by someone leaving not to let our dog eat the "vodka shot" cups that were strewn everywhere. The dump station was clogged and overflowing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an aggressive pit bull, who remained off-leash for our entire stay. But worst of all were the campers. Men were stepping out of their RV's and relieving themselves in full sight of others, rather than walk to the restroom. On our last night there, a party raged all around us that I can only describe as an orgy. In 10++ years of camping, it is the first time I have ever been afraid for our personal safety. But we lay awake all night listening to foul language (and worse behavior that I can't really describe in this forum) going on both sides of the 5'er. The party went until dawn. This is NO place for families with children. We would never return here again. - MaineDon
