5 Parks near Regina, Saskatchewan
Jun 2016 - $45.00
Older park with respectable roadways, but were dusty. Some minor potholes. Many seasonal units (workers) but relatively well maintained. Close to Trans-Canada highway but noise was not a big distractor. Close to City which makes it a desirable location for visiting points of interest in area. Would stay again. - cdude
Aug 2014 - $27.00
This park is well situated to Regina and allows easy access from the Trans Canada Highway. The WiFi was excellent, sites were wide and lots of room. Laundry was only so-so. There were numerous power problems the main breaker at the office would trip when to many ACs were running. Visitor parking was limited. Highway noise can be quite loud as it is adjacent the Trans Canada Highway. - JD1040

Really easy to locate, about 1 mile East of the city and just off the Trans-Canada Hwy. Check-in was easy, then followed the gravel road to our back-in 30 amp site. The roads are sufficiently wide and corners are big rig friendly. Roads are gravel and are generally in good repair. Our site had lots of space for our 41' 5th wheel, only issue was the deep ruts at the entrance. Surely they should be addressed. Services - water and sewer were good, but power was terrible. We could only draw about 7 amps before our surge protector cut out due to voltage drop. At a 12 amp draw the voltage was below 97 volts. Couldn't get an electrician the first night due to storm, but they had one early next morning. Replaced the breaker, but fault in the wiring. Oh, well only 2 nights, so we survived. The park is old and dated, but has new young owners, and chatting with him he has big plans for improvement. Although not a successful visit, we will give them another chance if coming through this area again. - Oriana

The customer service at this resort is atrocious! The person answering the phone has absolutely no knowledge of public relations and was just rude!!!
A customer should be treated with respect not treated like garbage. - chelle12345

We decided to take a trip to Saskatchewan to visit relatives in our travel trailer. We found Buffalo Lookout and noted it was CAA Approved so thought it would be a good choice. Wrong! The same bugs that were dead in the washroom on the urinals were there the whole time we were. The showers bays were full of rust from the corroded pipes. The worst of it was when we went to do the water hookup. There was some sort of slime oozing out of the rusted water spout. I am a member of CAA and will certainly inform them of the need to visit the campgrounds they say they "approve" (undoubtedly several years ago in the 60s". - Alan Benson
Jul 2015 - $37.00
The park is easily accessed from Highway No.1 on the east side of Regina. The sites are reasonably level, although they need to cut some overhanging trees that impede your path to some sites. The sites are all full service. - foxflash
Jul 2016 - $20.00
First the good points: it was cheap (that's about it).
Now the bad. The washrooms were closed "because of the road construction"! Really!? To be fair, I suspect this was a good campground at some point but is no more. I wouldn't be surprised to hear it's closed after the road work is finished this season. It looks like the road is coming nearer to the campground. We had a rain storm the night we were there and very nearly got stuck in our camp spot, lots of mud. What, they've never heard of gravel!? The 30 amp outlet was fried, I'm surprised it worked at all. The water was safe, says the guy we gave our money to, but it smelled and tasted of iron, maybe the water maybe the pipes.
We will not be back.
It's too bad there isn't a decent campground near Regina. - cachencouple
Jul 2015 - $28.00
The park has been greatly updated since our last visit in 2013. Very friendly service and nice spot. Tons of grass, dog friendly, and lots of open spots. Very quiet! Close to Regina. - Lynn Campbell
Sep 2014 - $22.00
Owner's were very helpful. Campsite is very nice, needs some TLC. Internet is pretty much moot, shows up but limited and can't even get a webpage. Would be nice if there were cable, one channel available if you really look for it. Stayed there for work which was nearby so it was convenient. Water is horrible, yellow! Make sure to bring your own to cook with and drink. All in all, would stay here again but not for an extended period of time. Price is great though! - Flipant
Jul 2015 - $34.00
We had a back in site with the sewer and water in the right place but our neighbors had to drive in forward to get the hookups right. The hookups for 2 sites were between them so every second one in our row was on the wrong side. The campground had a road through it but they decided to put two campsites on the road so we saw lots of big units have to back out when they left because the road forward was blocked. Charged a dollar to have someone come to visit for a few hours (friends were charged $2 each for their company). We had sewer but for those who didn't the sign said $2 for residents to dump their tanks. Charge to use the pool. Bag of wood $6. Water pressure was very low and sometimes just a trickle. Voltage was around 110V most of the time but got a little lower at times. As temperatures cooled it got up to 115-117V. Our site was OK but we saw quite a few that we wouldn't want. Seems like they try to get to many units in an older campground. - samandtheduck
Aug 2012 - $33.00
Roads to campground are rough gravel. Most sites occupied by seasonal and permanent campers. Campground roads are rough and muddy that lead to untrimmed sites. Wifi only available at a building other than office. We wanted to be close to Regina but wished we stayed at other campgrounds much closer to the city. We won't stay here again. - Quilter
Jun 2011 - $30.00
I had called the day before to confirm my reservation. The owner informed me that there was a lot of water in the Campground, but she said she had a nice site for us. When we arrived she took us to our site, and it was a mud pit. We ended up getting stuck. We decided to leave. The owner refunded us our money, and we had to find a place to stay. She should have closed her place until it dries up. - Ben/Win
Aug 2010 - $30.00
This town run campground has many shady sites. The washroom is uni-sex and has a single toilet, and single shower. There is a good stout door that locks for privacy. It was extremely clean and had supplies available. The sites are small so anything over 30 feet may have a problem. There are 13 non serviced sites. The serviced sites have both 30 amp and 15 amp outlets with breakers on the pedestals. The water supply is way up in the air and has good pressure. Fire wood is available. The weekly rate is $150.00 serviced; $100.00 non serviced. The monthly rate is $500.00 serviced; $400.00 non serviced. Fees are paid on the honor system and checks are accepted. Check out time is 1:00 pm. There is a dump site. The entrance location is 50.65341,-104.863411 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org I would stay here again. - User3761
