3 Parks near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Aug 2015 - $42.00
Stayed two nights in August 2015. Site was perfect for our 29' trailer and F150. All sites are angled perfect to give great shade in the morning. No trees in the sites are the only down side. Free firewood and wifi. If you use the wifi in the morning it's faster. Seems more people use it in the evening and it's slow. Full hookups but you need a pressure regulator if you want to tie in rather than fill your water tank. Clean washrooms and showers. Nice trimmed grass and hardly no bugs. Great little store and close to Saskatoon if you need something they don't have. We stayed in site 15 and we were right beside the nice new playground which the kids enjoyed. Pool and splash park are awesome. $14 for a family day pass. Pool shallow end is 1.2M and deep end is 2M. My 8 and 5 year olds enjoyed both the pool and the splash park. We would recommend this campground and would come back. - Akerr
May 2015 - $40.00
Stayed the last week of May. Very hot (27C) but pool not yet open. $ for pool when it opens. New park with a few design problems. Short sites. We were allowed to park our tow vehicle on adjacent site as it was not busy and the site fit our 5er only. Power pedestal has water tap directly under the plug in. Hard to connect power cord and impossible to connect pedestal surge protector. Access road is well traveled and dirt. Hard to see through clouds of dust. Site and park roads are dirt and with park speed limit of 30 and fleet of dump trucks based in back of park you will get dirty. Forget about open windows. Showers and laundry are great. Showers $2 for 4 minutes but really nice. Wi-Fi was useless. Don't think I'd come back.....way too dusty/muddy. - Kbob
Sep 2014 - $40.00
We stayed here for one quick overnight. I wish we could have stayed longer. This campground is what all campgrounds should aspire to be. It was clean and neat and in good upkeep. The grass on all the sites was lush and green. The only complaint (if there could be one) is that there are no trees. But that is a small price for what an excellent place this is. Received two over-the-air tv channels. WiFi was excellent. - cmgoeke
Aug 2015 - $38.00
Campsite is older. Fences are rusted. Hedges need trimming. Buildings need a new coat of paint.
Sites are level. Hookups are a bit old and could need tightening or replacement. Office staff are there as a summer job, it shows... Lack of enthusiasm, lack of friendliness... Here's your site, here are the rules...
Park is a little out out the way, and some roads to get there could be more rv friendly (bumpy, narrow intersections).
Although they stated they had wifi, I never could pick up any network on 5 differents devices... Of course office staff couldn't help, since it had to do with "tech stuff we don't know how it works".
Would try hard to find another campground if ever in the area again. Otherwise, keep your expectations low, and you'll be happy. - Merveilleuse
Jun 2015 - $36.00
The best campsite you can think of. Very friendly people, nice campsites, WiFi on the site. Nothing but praise. - henny04
Jul 2014 - $40.00
A little out of the way to get to....but pleasant once you get there. Mature area so lots and lots of trees. Beautiful walking area that follows the river valley. Most of the sites have hedges so that you have the impression you are all alone. Clean and well maintained with a little store as well. Overnighters are put into a side by side area that is a little cozy but not bad for 1 night. - SSW69
Jul 2015 - $39.00
The first 100 feet after exiting Hwy 16 was rough. Other than that roads were gravel but good. We would definitely stay there again. - gene a
Sep 2014 - $33.00
We stayed at this campground on the way home from a 12,000 mile trip through Alaska and northwest Canada. The 100 yards of dirt road between the highway (Rt, 16, the Yellowhead Highway) and the campground driveway was the roughest road we encountered the entire trip. It had both raised lumps and deep holes. It is reason enough to select a different campground. There are several choices around Saskatoon. And that's too bad, because once you get past that road the campground has a lot going for it. It made us feel relaxed. The sites are wide and well separated by grass, and frequently trees too. The grass was well trimmed, but some of the trees did encroach on the driveways. Most of the sites are adequately long to accomodate a 35 ft. 5th wheel and truck. The rate reflects a 10% AAA discount. - JackSchmotzer
Jul 2012 - $32.00
The road access in the park is rough with potholes. In the park they have not done anything with their roads, muddy deep potholes and dead trees welcome you after you register. Grass has not been cut for a long time and you can almost bale it now that it has been cut. These are apparently new owners who just seem to want your money and do not want to maintain the park. It used to be well maintained but not now. The interior roads are really dusty with out dust control. I would not recommend this park . - drjbb
