7 RV Parks near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Jul 2017 - $33.00
The 100 yards of potholes are still there when arriving, an apparent victim of road construction in the area, but can be negotiated with patience. The interior roads are also rough. Our site's sewer was uncapped, unthreaded and plugged up. The park had robust WiFi, full hookups including 50 amp service and pull throughs, okay for an overnight stay. Satellite TV is blocked by trees at most sites. - Mtmoi
Jul 2016 - $30.00
We have stayed here in the past & have always had a good experience. The sites are large. Lots of pull through sites for big rigs. The bathrooms are old but kept clean. Free showers with lots of hot water! No fires which we like. Hook ups are in good condition. Lots of grass. A very good value for the dollar. The frontage road you come in on is rough for about 100 metres but park owner has no control over the road maintenance so should not be reflection on park. - hjbondo
May 2016 - $28.00
(05/16) The frontage/service road (dirt) off highway 16 was a bit rough, but you're on it for a very short section. Campground roads are level gravel, as are the sites. Sites are good sized - both the back ins as well as the pull thrus. Sites came with bbq stands and picnic tables - no fire rings for campfires (per city ordinance?) Some sites are partial hook ups, others are full. We did a back-in w/e, and used dump on our way out.
Bathrooms were clean, decent water pressure for shower.
Office is also a store with limited groceries and rv supplies, mostly souveniers.
Lots of trees (spruce & cottonwoods) on the property, which after being on the open road for several days was a nice change to see. There were some totally open sites along the back edge for those that need clear sky for satellite. - yesmar
Jul 2017 - $42.00
Lots are too tight to have a picnic table.....almost under our slide and a firepit....right beside our vehicle. - Snooker2
Jun 2017 - $37.00
As mentioned in previous reviews this is a new campground, opened in 2011 so the trees are on the small side. Beautiful lawns, spotless bathrooms and shower facilities along with a lovely pool. City of Saskatoon is a short 15 minute drive away with lots to offer. - neilmcb2002
Aug 2016 - $38.00
Newer park, pretty wide open. Gravel road for approximately 1/2 mile to get to park: kicks up alot of dust, and people driving down that road will send dust into park with the right wind.
But grounds are well kept, sites are spacious. Cleanest bathrooms and showers we have seen in a park, top notch. We did not use the pool area. Wifi worked very well from our site and 2 over the air channels are available with an excellent signal. Park tells you on check in that water pressure is high and to use a pressure regulator.
Park is located approximately 12 miles west of Saskatoon right off Hwy 16. - wfd
Jun 2017 - $41.00
Council owned, run by onsite mgr. Level dirt sites with some shade, picnic table, some with fire ring. Helpful staff. Electric and water only - dump point available at exit. - flexitdriver
Aug 2016 - $30.00
Wonderful RV park run by the city. Level spacious gravel sites. Excellent electrical connection and high pressure water. Sewer dump at entry. Tall hedges between sites providing privacy. Public areas well landscaped. Excellent clean well equipped laundry. Friendly greeting explaining their rules. Gate closed at night for security. We would stay at this campground again. - O2TRVL
Aug 2015 - $38.00
Campsite is older. Fences are rusted. Hedges need trimming. Buildings need a new coat of paint.
Sites are level. Hookups are a bit old and could need tightening or replacement. Office staff are there as a summer job, it shows... Lack of enthusiasm, lack of friendliness... Here's your site, here are the rules...
Park is a little out out the way, and some roads to get there could be more rv friendly (bumpy, narrow intersections).
Although they stated they had wifi, I never could pick up any network on 5 differents devices... Of course office staff couldn't help, since it had to do with "tech stuff we don't know how it works".
Would try hard to find another campground if ever in the area again. Otherwise, keep your expectations low, and you'll be happy. - Merveilleuse
May 2012 - $20.00
Make sure you arrive here with water as none at site and access to tap requires driving over a dip which might not be so good for big rigs. Same problem getting to dump station. No staff. Pay on the honor system. A little awkward to park and probably not able to turn at end of road with a big rig. We unhooked the toad. Even so, we think this is a good spot. Quiet. The sites are gravel. 25 minutes to downtown Saskatoon. No Wi-Fi. Good phone signal. Would stay here again. Only 8 sites so get here by mid-day. - rvbravo2
May 2009 - $10.00
Excellent regional park small and basic but excellent for a couple of nights. Self pay and no attendants but is priced right. Water and sewer dump is available sites are a fair size much better than staying in a commercial campground. - sunridge99
Jul 2015 - $27.00
We stayed in site 197. It was tight to back our 29' trailer in and when we went to pull out it was even tighter with a large 5th wheel parked across from us. No trees in this site. Water and outhouse are close by. We stretched out our water hose to fill our tank. Power hookup only. Grass hadn't been cut in a while in our site. The closest park is outdated so the kids had to go a little further to a nicer park. Showers are free but there's hardly any warm water in the evenings. The kids did swimming lessons in the pool and loved it. The pool has a very shallow end for toddlers and a deep end too, plus a separate pool for the water slide. It's $12 for a family day pass. Would definitely recommend Pike Lake and we are going back again in August and staying in the same site. - Akerr
Aug 2012 - $22.00
Very family friendly park, about 30km from Saskatoon. They do have a 2PM check in time so if you arrive early you will be waiting around. The lake is swimable but a little slough like. We liked our stay and would definitely come back. - Fish dude
May 2011 - $22.00
We camped here on May Long Weekend with friends. We made the reservation in February on the Saskparks website and were able to get a very large double site. We had no problem getting both trailers and our vehicles into the site and still had lots of room leftover. The only problem with the site was they had put one of the fire pits in spot that made it impossible for one trailer to plug in without an extension cord. Ours seemed to be the only double site that had the odd placement for one of the fire pits. They do have a lot of double sites. They are all very nicely treed. Swimming in the lake is not recommended, it is more like a slough but they do have a pool that is open from mid-June to the end of August/beginning of September. It is a very family friendly park with lots and lots of kids on bikes. The pull through sites are very wide open and not private at all. We really liked this park and chose it because of how close it was to Saskatoon. - Saskmom
Aug 2017 - $35.00
If limited to one word it would be "awesome." A real jewel, well maintained, nicely laid out park with gravel roads and pads, landscaped with plenty of room between sites. Clean restrooms and laundry in nice facilities. Great park, nice sites, and hands on owner/operators. Well liked and respected in the community. You'll love it. We did. - BaldEagle42
Jul 2017 - $26.00
This is one of the best RV parks that we've ever stayed in. It is certainly the cleanest. The grass was manicured and everything was spotless. Lots of room for RV's to pull in and park and all of the utilities worked great. The sites are very level and long. The night that we pulled in they had a fireworks show for all of the campers in the park. They called it Christmas in July. If there's a down side to this park, they don't take credit cards only cash or check. None the less, if we were ever in the Saskatoon area again I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. - Trackman
Aug 2016 - $35.00
We are fulltimers, based in Saskatoon, and have tried all campgrounds in the area. Without question this is Saskatoon's best. The level of care and personal service provided by the owner is the best we have found anywhere in North America. Nice wide sites and very clean, well maintained facilities. A model for other campgrounds and resorts to follow! - DramaShare
