Overall Rating:

All fees are in Cdn $ and exclude the tax. A very large (approximately 150 sites), structured CG with all RV parked in rows. Mainly pull through sites although some back-in sites were available along the perimeter. The sites are level, gravel about 65' long and wide enough for a big rig with opposing slides. Convenient from Hwy 16 but along a short, washboard gravel road that in dry weather is extremely dusty and I imagine in wetter conditions is very muddy - not the CG fault or responsibility. The interior roads of the campground are dirt and gravel. Power and water services located towards the rear of the site in a site numbered utility post. Water pressure is apparently very high and they recommend using a regulator when bringing this to your attention at registration. The sewer drop was located more to the centre of the length of the site. A fire pit & new picnic bench table are also provided but only wood purchased at their campground may be burned. Pay for showers are available at $2 (Cdn) for four minutes and there is a small pool that we did not use. This is available between 11am - 8pm but had a price tag of $8 per adult. I believe there was a daily family tag for about $14. Both charges seem a little steep when paying to stay here in the first place. Wi-Fi is included in the price and you are given an access code valid for the duration of your stay. It did work pretty well for checking emails or browsing. The grass is very neatly manicured but to our surprise at about 2pm in the afternoon we were asked to move in order to allow the irrigation system 30 minutes watering the grass. I noticed a little later that several families where huddled under the overhang of their 5er or between the hitch and tow-ball of their TT. Apparently, there is a $250 fine applied directly to your CC if found to have driven on their grass. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a well-stocked camp shop, including RV spares, at the office. Not really a destination location but decent for travelling along the Yellow Head Highway.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a break while travelling across Canada - large park with mainly big rigs. Park is off the main highway and on a dusty road, we were met at reception by staff who flagged us down to stop and proceeded to write down our registration numbers. Husband came back from paying with a long list of rules; mainly about the appearance and upkeep of the park, a few that I had never encountered before such as no dropping sunflower seeds on grass, no driving on grass or a $250 fine would be added to your credit card, no home built sewer supports etc. We had an end site which was nice and all sites that I saw were pull through. Site was level and had grass at either side. We saw that there was a pool at the campground and really wanted to use it after our long drive - however, there was an extra charge of $8 per adult to use the pool. I think this is a lot of money and not one I expected. On our 2nd day around 2pm we were sitting on the grassed area enjoying a drink and some peace and quiet - we were asked to move inside so the grass could be watered for 1/2 an hour. I am sure there are other times when this could be one including the early morning or evening. Campground has some young trees planted and will be much more private when these grow. The sites are in uniform rows with spaces for approx 150 rigs. We were advised that water pressure was high and to use a regulator. However, this reduced the shower flow quite significantly. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Advised and on paper "driving or parking on grass will result in an immediate charge of $250.00 against your credit card. Repeat offenders will be charged for each additional offence." Not a typo..... $250.00

As mentioned in previous reviews this is a new campground, opened in 2011 so the trees are on the small side. Beautiful lawns, spotless bathrooms and shower facilities along with a lovely pool. City of Saskatoon is a short 15 minute drive away with lots to offer. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Saskatoon is a city of over 300,000 so all services and shopping available. Gravel road onto the camp ground is the only downside buy road is in good condition. I would stay here again, owners are very open and helpful.

Overall Rating:

Newer park, pretty wide open. Gravel road for approximately 1/2 mile to get to park: kicks up alot of dust, and people driving down that road will send dust into park with the right wind.

But grounds are well kept, sites are spacious. Cleanest bathrooms and showers we have seen in a park, top notch. We did not use the pool area. Wifi worked very well from our site and 2 over the air channels are available with an excellent signal. Park tells you on check in that water pressure is high and to use a pressure regulator.

Park is located approximately 12 miles west of Saskatoon right off Hwy 16. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a new park and looks great. They do have trees now but, of course, they are quite small now. The only complaint we have is with the gravel road, it is quite dusty and some blows into the park. They also charge for the pool $8/person or $14/family. It is small and best suited for kids. There is also a splash park but no hot tub/spa. Wi-fi is free and usable, there is no cable tv but two over-the-air channels. We would come back. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The bad.....campground wanted to charge us an additional $14.00 per night to use the pool. It is like going to a hotel and charging us to us the pool. Basically no amenities for seniors.

The park itself is set up like concentration camp, no real trees.

The good...easy in, easy out. Very clean but no landscape, set in field.

Must be better places to stay. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed two nights in August 2015. Site was perfect for our 29' trailer and F150. All sites are angled perfect to give great shade in the morning. No trees in the sites are the only down side. Free firewood and wifi. If you use the wifi in the morning it's faster. Seems more people use it in the evening and it's slow. Full hookups but you need a pressure regulator if you want to tie in rather than fill your water tank. Clean washrooms and showers. Nice trimmed grass and hardly no bugs. Great little store and close to Saskatoon if you need something they don't have. We stayed in site 15 and we were right beside the nice new playground which the kids enjoyed. Pool and splash park are awesome. $14 for a family day pass. Pool shallow end is 1.2M and deep end is 2M. My 8 and 5 year olds enjoyed both the pool and the splash park. We would recommend this campground and would come back. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed the last week of May. Very hot (27C) but pool not yet open. $ for pool when it opens. New park with a few design problems. Short sites. We were allowed to park our tow vehicle on adjacent site as it was not busy and the site fit our 5er only. Power pedestal has water tap directly under the plug in. Hard to connect power cord and impossible to connect pedestal surge protector. Access road is well traveled and dirt. Hard to see through clouds of dust. Site and park roads are dirt and with park speed limit of 30 and fleet of dump trucks based in back of park you will get dirty. Forget about open windows. Showers and laundry are great. Showers $2 for 4 minutes but really nice. Wi-Fi was useless. Don't think I'd come back.....way too dusty/muddy. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for one quick overnight. I wish we could have stayed longer. This campground is what all campgrounds should aspire to be. It was clean and neat and in good upkeep. The grass on all the sites was lush and green. The only complaint (if there could be one) is that there are no trees. But that is a small price for what an excellent place this is. Received two over-the-air tv channels. WiFi was excellent. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nicely developed and maintained RV park. It will be even better when the swimming pool is done. (Since we stayed there last month, that may have already happened by now). Friendly, attentive staff. Pick the pine firewood (not the birch), as it is drier. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Laundry facilities: 3 washers @ $3, 3 dryers @ $2. Showers: $2 Half mile of gravel road off the highway to the Campground which can be muddy if raining. Pool and Wading Pool under construction; look great. Bright new facilities in Washrooms and Laundry. Convenience store sells RV accessories too. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. It is a new park and has lots of potential. The only problem we found was the sites fine but the road to access a sit is very narrow and it is almost impossible to 'not' drive on the grass when pulling in or pulling out. The grass at the entrance/exit to the site needs to be curved more to allow for a big rig to get in and out without damaging the grass. The staff was pleasant. We would recommend this park and would stay here again. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is with Good Sam discount. OK campground for the most part. All sites are pull-through but can be a little tight for big rigs (narrow roads, shortish sites); no trees to contend with, which helps in terms of maneuvering. Good WSE connections. Only about one kilometer from the highway but the access road as well as the inner roads and sites are dirt. It had rained recently, and everything from the highway on was muddy; truck, fifth-wheel and car were absolutely filthy by the time we left the next day. Still, this campground would be excellent for an overnighter--on a dry day. We camped at Campland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
