2 Parks near Swift Current, Saskatchewan
Aug 2016 - $26.00
Based on ratings and reviews, we we're expecting much and that's what we got, so it was fine for an overnight stay. Staff was friendly. Sites were gravel and mostly level. Utilities were not so good.
We had to go under our rig and to the adjacent site and share their pedestal to get 50 amp. Receptacle was a good 3 feet off the ground and horizontal, not vertical, so we had to prop our cord/surge protector on the picnic table to hold the weight. Sewer was accessed under a plywood cover. Water pressure was about 35 psi. No cable or over the air.
The shining star was the WiFi: awesome, and what a surprise. The bathroom was old and needs work. - VegasVagabonds

We are full time RVers and stayed here for two days. The Staff is very friendly. This park is an older park as many are on the road, but is quite adequate. We traveled in Canada for 30 days and of all our Parks in the entire region, this park had the BEST Wifi system by far. This is not a resort park but found lots of shade and room for our stay. We would definitely stay again. - jtl

If in a tent or a pop up tent trailer, stay away. Right beside Trans Canada with only a short wall of empty containers to "muffle" the noise from the highway. Also at base of hill east bound out of Swift Current. Truckers use jake brakes downhill. Also has a population of feral cats that are friendly enough but are a pest and a nuisance all night. - FrankSz

They gave us a choice of sites but never being here before, I had no idea. The water/dump is at the end of the site and the power is shared between two sites. They put us in a site next to another rig and the power was on the wrong side. We moved to the next site over and they never said anything. After paying for a full hook up, we still had to PAY for showers so we just used our tiny one. Wi-Fi was virtually non existent. It was very quiet. New staff member and she was unsure of what she was doing. They were very polite though. - Liane63

Stayed here one night in my RV. The manager was quite disorganized and gave the same site to three different guests. There were plenty of sites available so we just all picked the one we wanted. The sites were large and the place was clean. The water and sewer hookups were at the very end of the site and the power was at the very front which I found weird. Long cords and hoses were a necessity. WiFi was spotty. - SandyRVing

Arrived in 30 deg celcius. Asked for site with 30 amp to run A/C. Unfriendly attendant informed only 15 amp sites available so take it or leave it. Took site, very primitive with shady druggies next to us. Sweltered in heat till 10 PM. Walked sites to discover many full service unoccupied. Moved into full service and left early next morning. In addition, park is poorly maintained. Water source comes out of same pedestal as sewer. Never again. - flugelboneman
