The CG was very clean and well kept. The owners assisted us in getting our 5th wheel in the best location and knew exactly how to get it level. They also had a wonderful devotional Sunday morning along with refreshments. Will definitely go back in the future. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Fifth Wheel.

Their name says it all. Beautiful place, well kept by the friendly and very personable owners/hosts. After checking in at the cozy office and store at the top of the hill, you are guided to your site and they will assist in getting you parked and set up as needed. There are lovely cabins and a small playground for kids. However, because they stress peacefulness and quiet, which is what we needed, if you have active young children this might not be the place for you...check in instead at a KOA or Yogi Bear! The place is in the woods, no direct views of the mountains, but it certainly is a gem and very manicured. We are very happy with our stay and will be back! We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Motorhome.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are glad you found us and enjoyed your stay! We do attempt to provide much-needed solitude for our guests, young and old. We are a family friendly place and enjoy listening to the chatter of children on the playground enjoying Solitude. For the benefit of all of our guests, however, we do discourage large, loud groups and parties. Please come back and see us again - at some Pointe, everyone needs more Solitude!

Our favorite CG for accessing DuPont SF, Pisgah NF and Brevard, NC. Our annual visits here for the past 4 years have been consistently wonderful! Quiet and relaxing small CG ran by a family that truly cares for its customers. Clean, spacious sites, 2 private immaculately clean bathrooms and the only laundry room that I have ever used in 20+ of camping :) The upper loop sites are shaded and buffered with small brush for privacy. The lower loop sites are a bit more more "open" but spacious enough to give you plenty of privacy. Large power line ROW is perfect for walking your fur babies. We enjoy this CG so much and look forward to our return trips. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Travel Trailer.

The word solitude is an understatement. The park is in the middle of the woods/forest. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. If you need something, they will try to get it for you. There is no cable tv and using a satellite dish in the middle of the forest is close to impossible. Getting local over the air TV can be tricky at times due to the mountainous terrain. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Motorhome.

Solitude Pointe Cabins and RV, owner at Solitude Pointe responded to this review

Thank you for your review! We agree that solitude means different things to different people. Directv HD is almost impossible to pick up, however Directv standard and Dish tv work fine, for those guests who travel with their own paid tv service. Most guests with powered antennas get at least 12 over the air channels. If watching television is important to you while camping, we'll be glad to try to help you choose the best site for your situation.

Everything was great. When we arrived, we were guided into our site, which I was very thankful for. Only a month into full-time RVing, I am not the best person to guide my husband into spots. While it was a little tight to get in, we had plenty of room for trailer, vehicle, picnic table and an area for chairs and tables. Sadly, our timing was bad, as we were there when the wildfires were going crazy in North Carolina. Control fires were staged near us, and with a cold front expected, winds were due to shift. For the worse. So we put the home on the road and headed south. If we go back that way, we will definitely stay there again. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Travel Trailer.

This is a wonderful CG for relaxation and reflection. We've been coming here for the last 3 years and we've never been disappointed. The owners live on site and truly care about your experience. CG is immaculately clean (bathroom and laundry room A+) and all sites are paved and offer enough privacy between campers. Plenty of places to walk our babies. Owner guides you into sites (back in). Uplifting Sunday morning devotion and light breakfast. They have a small playground and is VERY family friendly BUT if you're looking for a CG to entertain you with activities this one is not it. Rather it is a wonderful place to reconnect with your spouse and/or kids (or furry babies). It's an ideal location for hiking Table Rock (better eat your Wheaties!), DuPont SF (a must!!) and Pisgah NF. Brevard is only 45 minutes away (lunch at Square Root and dinner at Mario Tratorria). Happy camping! We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at Solitude Point in a 40' motorhome for a week. Stay a week and the 7th night is free. It was a small RV park in the mountains among pine trees and was very quiet and serene. The owners were so accommodating from the moment we arrived. We were guided to our site and the owner even started a fire for us in the fire pit. If towing a vehicle, we recommend to disconnect prior to arriving since the park office is uphill and located at the top. Excellent Wi-Fi and satellite was available if needed. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Motorhome.

Great place! Really out in the woods! 50amp service and sewer available. Only 14 spots, so have to be lucky to get one. Manager was friendly and helpful....he even helped us park our camper! Spots are not as secluded as we thought, but they were wide, shady and quiet. Wifi was outstanding, though no cable TV was available. Rained hard during our stay, but water drained off nicely. Would definitely camp here again. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Fifth Wheel.

We have camped here 3 times over the last several years (spring and fall). Great small campground. Quiet and relaxing. Clean restroom and laundry. Sites up always neat and tidy. Owners are absolutely the best and take pride in making you feel welcome and like family. Sunday mornings they have devotional and breakfast for the campers. We love the proximity to DuPont State Forest and Brevard. We'll keep coming back! We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park close to lots of attractions in northern South Carolina. The owners are such a nice welcoming Christian family. It is a family run business where the children (when home from college) and grandmother help in the operations. They have a large book of things to do in the area and will photocopy any of the maps/brochures for you. Verizon cell coverage is very poor in the area-fyi. We weren't at our site very often, but would recommend to others and will stay again if in the area. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Motorhome.

This is a small private campground in Greenville County, SC. Located "upstate" in the foothills, it is close to Caesars Head, Jones Gap, and Table Rock state parks. It is about 25 minutes to Traveler's Rest (the nearest town of any size with shopping and restaurants) and about 40 minutes from downtown Greenville. We chose this park because we prefer private campgrounds over state parks (so we can have full hookups) and we wanted to be as close as possible to Greenville. (After we arrived we physically drove to many other private campgrounds in the area, and believe me, this is definitely the nicest one. Most of the others are mostly rundown seasonal campgrounds.

There are only 14 rv sites, and 6 cabins. We chose site 14 (closest to the road, and only a seasonal camper on one side of us) for maximum privacy. They helped us back our travel trailer in, and even leveled it for us.

We had no problem with cell service here (ATT), and our wifi signal was strong even as far away as we were from the office (I don't know where the repeaters are, if any). There is no cable, but if we had Directv service we could have rented a box to use during our stay. We received several channels with our antenna.

Across the road from the park entrance is a small dock on the river from which you can launch one of the two rental canoes. There is a small playground. Water pressure was slightly low. We bought a generous amount of firewood for only $3, and one of the staff offered to get ice cream for us during one of his excursions into town.

We used the bathhouses once because we had a leak in our RV's shower, and they were spotless, as was the laundry room ($2 to wash, $2 to dry, and $0.75 for a box of detergent). There is a nice .42 mile beautifully wooded loop (up and down a narrow path, so wear boots) around the campground that I enjoyed with my dogs most mornings. Overall, we loved this park! We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a week after Christmas and had a fantastic time. This is a very quiet and idyllic small campground. The cabins looked great as well. This is the best campground in the Table Rock area in our opinion. We were guided to our site and the staff was very nice and helpful. After we left they even helped locate something we had dropped and mailed it to us! We will certainly be back to this wonderful campground. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Travel Trailer.

My husband, two small children and my mother pulled our camper and my in-laws rented a cabin. The facilities were clean and well prepared. It is a very quite campground so it lives up to the name Solitude Pointe. If you have small children you may consider a different campground because it is so quite there and little for them to do. There is a nice playground although it is not very big. We did go on their hiking trail and walked down to the river. The river is down the road a piece be very nice once you get there. I would recommend this campground to older couples without children. We camped at Solitude Pointe in a Travel Trailer.
