Very convenient for the 95. Easy & on off. Considering the campground is so close to the freeway it's in a beautiful location with a lake, lawns & trees. Traffic noise could be heard but not an issue for us where we were situated. The site was sand & grass & not too much difficulty levelling. The rest rooms & laundry were clean & the whole campground was beautifully maintained & well run. Very good value for money. Would definitely recommend & will return if in the area. Not much to do in the immediate area but a nice campground for overnight stay or to relax for a day or two. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Older park, which means older refurbished buildings. Roads and sites are level and sandy. The couple who owns and runs the park are very friendly and courteous. The official greater, Lily the Cat, was just as friendly as them. The lake around the park was a treat to walk around. A couple of Canada geese flew in as we were finishing our walk. Couple of nights later we watched a beaver eating some shrubbery along the shore. We made a point after that to look for his dam and lodge, while in the process of noticing the small trees that he felled. The park is situated next to I-95, so there is alot of traffic noises. If you could over look that, it is a very nice place to visit. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is very close to I-95, but the noise wasn't a problem. We had one day of rain, but the drainage at the site was very good - no puddles. Our site (C-1) was spacious. Plenty long for my Ram 3500 and 42' fiver. The staff was very friendly and guided us to the site. A racetrack is nearby, but the races going on were not an issue. All in all, we had a very relaxing stay and will return. I'd give it a 10 if it had a fenced dog park! We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Needed an overnight stay and this was close to I-95. Check in was easy and we were escorted to our lot. Since we were just there for one night, we were in a large field in the front of the campground. There was some noise from I-95 but not bad. The water pressure and voltage were good and the lot was level.

There is a fishing pond with a beware of alligator sign on the property. The gates are locked at night. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park located right off I-95. Sites are grass, extra long and spacious. Picnic table, free wi-fi, no cable, no pool, no play area. Nice small lake on property. Accepts Passport America which makes it a great bargain for a night or two. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an overnight campground & there is lots of road noise. However the owner & staff were very friendly. You can wash your rig if you like. Very spacious sites in the overnight area but half have no sewer. Sites are grassy, water pressure excellent & there is a very pretty lake on property. Tips for other Campers:

Dillon is a typical small town. We were there over Easter Weekend & there was no nice place to eat an Easter dinner. There are plenty of fast food places, barbecue & a southern buffet restaurant that has ok food. I got my 1 ton truck, washed, vacuumed & paste waxed for $65 which I thought was an excellent value. The place is about one mile south on 301 once you go into town

This is a good place to stop in transit on Rt 95. It is well kept, clean, with adequate space. There is a good laundry facility on site. It is gated at night. The staff was very friendly and we were led to our site. All the utilities seemed to be in very good shape although the water pressure was a bit low but adequate. Fuel and food is very close by and is typical of an interstate exit. There is a bit of road noise and the local airport seems to be busy in the late afternoon. All in all, we would certainly stop here again. It is very convenient as a transient stop. We camped in a fifth wheel. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Small campground very convenient to highway and services. Price is right for PA discount. Location off I95 likely justifies the $36 no discounted rate. Sites were pretty level, although some were grass, some sand, and large trees created some pretty large roots across several sites. Grounds were clean, however, and hookups all worked.

We were able to get quite a few tv channels with our regular antenna. Wifi, however, is sketchy. Even within a few yards of the office, it was on and out. We heard that a long term camper has set up his own network which interferes with the campground setup. I had to resort to posting this review via my phone and never was successful in posting a photo to share.

The lady running the office was very nice. The store is sparse. No groceries, but everything is very close.

Although right next to interstate, we did not notice much road noise. Fishing lake seems to be biggest asset. No picnic table or fire rings on site.

Good overnight stop particularly if u can get the discounted rate. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The roads through the park need some work, several pot holes, but not deep. Easy on/off I-95. Close to a Wal-Mart and restaurants by car. You can hear the interstate traffic, but not horrible. We were in the second row from the front, site 8. It was pretty level, but only packed grass and sand, but firm. Other sites behind us had trees that seemed to be close. Electric, water and sewer. No cable and we did not try their Wi-Fi. There is potential here. Pretty little lake. Gated security at night. We were guided to our site, so we are not sure of the row letter or number. Overall Rating:

Stayed for 2 nights. Older campground with clean washrooms. Not much pictures on their website to show how the rv park is. Our site was open, no shade very close to the other. Could not open our awning. The sites with only water and electric are beside the full hookups. You park back to back as there is only one sewer for two sites, which puts the other site very close to your rv. The sites with some trees are a bit larger and are more for monthly or seasonal campers. WiFi hotspot only at the office, very slow and cuts all the time. The Walmart Wifi was faster! Good TV. A lot of noise from I-95 and trains all day and all night, it would wake us up. More noise Saturday and Sunday 14 & 15 November from around noon to 7PM (Dillon Motor Speedway Monsters Truck) just the other side of the airport and camping. Would not stay here again because of the noise from I-95. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 7 weeks. The campground is quiet and pet friendly. It is not a resort, read, no pool, no cable so not lots of kids - perfect for us. The owners live on site and are very attentive. We loved our stay. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park. It's small (30 something sites) but each site is huge, full hookups and pull thrus. There is a very nice lake filled with bass (they have a sign in the office: "I came, I cast, I kicked bass.")

The office staff was extremely friendly and more than accommodating.

This is not a resort, and therefore doesn't have a lot of amenities, although there is a small playground and things to do in the rec room (tv, videos, billiards, books, comfy couches, card table, board games).

The only real drawback is that the train is nearby and it's right off the highway (I-95) so it's somewhat noisy. Personally, coming from an urban area, it didn't bother me, but it might disturb others who like absolute quiet.

Although not in a remote location, there isn't much to do nearby except the very touristy "South of the Border" 5 miles away.

I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
