Since new manager took over last year park has gone downhill. We have been here a year and rent has gone up $50.00 every 6 months with no change in amenities. You have to ask to have mowing and trimming done in the lower part of the park, or do it yourself along with purchasing any insecticides to take care of fire ants. We were happy when we first moved in a year ago, and the manager at that time was great as far as taking care of the park and any of the guests needs. It seems like they are trying to get their long term RV'ers to leave and it's working. The sites are sloped so you have to really ramp up the front of your RV to get it level by using blocks and jacks. Wifi is available when it works. When you ask to get something taken care of, the manager will lie to your face and tell you they are working on it. The owner of the park is a great guy, but he has become absent lately, and unaware as to what is happening in the park. I hate giving anyone a bad review, but there a lot of unhappy full time RV'ers in the park, and like us, they may be moving on. We camped at GSP RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little park next to several industrial facilities. Very friendly, helpful staff. Our site was fairly unlevel front-to-back and we had to raise our tongue pretty substantially to level our RV. The traffic flow diagram provided was almost backward as there was no way we could back into this corner site from the direction we were instructed to take. No big deal however, we just looped around and came from the other direction and were able to tuck it right in. Appeared to be a high number of regulars based on RV setups we were seeing. Our neighbors were extremely friendly and even checked on our dog for us while we were at the ball park. Overall value wasn't what we were used to getting for this rate but we weren't dissatisfied at our stay. We camped at GSP RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Solid place to stay when visiting the Spartanburg area. We were there to play softball and we were about centrally located to the 3 parks we played in. We would stay here again if needed.

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Open, gravel site in middle of parking lot style campground. Chose it for close proximity to visiting family. Everything worked fine but with 95 degree weather in full sun made it very difficult to stay in unit during day. For those traveling with dogs, the dog park was grassy, fenced in and very clean. Very quiet. Most nearby units were for working people. A little far from highway. We camped at GSP RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clean, friendly, peaceful, enclosed dog park. Close to airport, shopping and restaurants. Amazing staff, very helpful with information about the area. Can accommodate big rigs and tag-a-longs. We camped at GSP RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
