Very clean park and friendly staff. However, all the sites are dirt/gravel and in the open with no trees at all. The sites are large and can easily accommodate any RV. The cable and Wi-Fi work fine. This location is perfect for people traveling on I-95 or need a place to park while they are visiting Savannah or other attractions. Other than that - the park is rather blah. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Not to far from Savannah

We got a Good Sam discount and the rate was $40 for one of the most inexpensive sites. This campground is horribly overpriced. The campground is 2 years old and has zero shade, for goodness sakes plant some trees. Want a lake front or pull through? Get ready to pay more. Want a concrete paid, yup pay more. Their "general store" is a joke. There are much better options down the road near Savannah. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Enjoyed or stay very much. Campground is about 2 years old and nicely laid out. Spoke to several host and all were very nice and helpful. Easy off and on the Interstate but far enough away not to hear any of the noise. We will stay there again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Tanger Outlets located at Bluffton,Sc. Also plenty of golf courses and resturants near Bluffton and Hilton Head.

Campsites were well maintained and level for the most part. Full hook up with cable (no cable wire - provide your own). Overall size of campground is small, but sites were adequately sized. Very convenient to interstate 95. Very nice, paved entry and roads throughout. Some sites had cement pad. WIFI was very sketchy and one morning they were working on something and the power went off about three times. This campground seems to cater to snowbirds and overnighters.

Small but nice off leash dog park with areas to walk and convenient disposals.

Office staff was nice to the adults, but not so nice to our teenagers when they went to see if there was something we needed in the camp store. They just didn't want to deal with them.

There are NO activities whatsoever for the younger kids that were in the park. The pool was nice but it was too cold for the kids to get in. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Hilton Head, and it was extremely busy on our brief visit. Enjoyed the golf course located within 3 miles (The Lakes).

Nice place with lots of campground activities. Nice area to fish, gazebo, kayaking, swimming pool. Hookups and sewer were good. No issues getting to campground from I-95. Very nice campground although high rate than we like to pay. We would stay here again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great location for both Hilton Head Island and Savannah.

We had a lake front space for 4 nights. The site was large and level. Very attractive park with plenty of elbow room. Easy access (about 30 minutes) to both Historic Savannah and Hilto Head Island. Enjoyed the hiking trail. The only negative was the WiFi was terrible. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Easy drive to Savannah. We did the Trolley tour which was excellent. Lots of great BBQ in the area.

This is the second time we've been to this campground. The last time was in November 2013, 6 months after they first opened. We liked it so much that we decided to stay here again while visiting Savannah. We were in site 104 both times. This time we stayed for 10 days. We were close to the restrooms and the laundry. Both are kept clean. The people here are very friendly. They've made quite a few improvements, but it is still a work in progress. They are putting in cement patios and a table at each campsite. This is a beautiful campground, very quiet, and has a peaceful feeling about it. There's a trail that goes around the lake. The only drawback to this campground is that the sites are on dirt. When it rains, it turns to mud. Whenever we come through this area, we'll stop here to see the progress that they have made. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Savannah. We love the Wildlife Drive at the Savannah Natl. Wildlife Refuge.

We stayed here while traveling I-95. About 4 miles from exit. Campground is only two years old. We were in a large pull-through site. Good water pressure and 50 amp service. Cable TV. Friendly staff. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Spacious park, with full connections and level sites. Right off 95, easy access. Very clean and spacious sites. Fishing in small pond and from the looks of the pictures on the board there are plenty of bass in it! We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Hilton Head, and Beaufort. (About 30 minutes to each) Fishing and trails at the park. Very quiet and relaxing.

Stayed for an overnight stay while heading home from Florida. Nice newer looking campground, with a clean, modern bathhouse and a nice looking little pool. Site was a pull through that was fairly level for our little trailer, but bigger trailers may have some trouble as it arched up in the middle. The site was plenty long enough though. Good electric, and at least for us, everything was close to where we would need it. We arrived late and left early, so the only staff interaction we had was on the phone, which was friendly and professional. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here twice on our way down to and back from Florida as this was our halfway point. We had a level pull-thru site with a very nice concrete patio. The campground facilities was very nice and clean. There is plenty of space to walk pets. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our time at this newly developed campground. During check-in, agent (lady) made a comment about my style of RV (which is a 2013 unit) being hard to setup, and they seem to break down a lot. We found this to be untrue and felt this comment wasn't warranted and provided a less inviting attitude. Laundry, bathrooms and pool area were clean. Campground is about 30min drive to Savanna/River Street. Campground within a few miles of gas stations, food, freeway access and grocery store. Our site needed some leveling. View of the lake was amazing, but comes with a high price. Many campers were long term, and these RV's appeared really rough, which presented a negative look on the park. Signs throughout the park warn of alligators, but we never saw any. Verizon phones were able to maintain a 4g signal. WiFi was strong and reliable. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Pull-thru sites are available and we found this campground to be big rig friendly. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the best, most beautiful campgrounds we have stayed at in a long time! The grounds and facilities are well maintained, and all of the camp workers were friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The cable is being converted to digital so we had to use a box on our TV, but it was not a problem. The sites are long and the streets are wide enough that we will request a back-in site on our next stay as we don't see any problem with getting our 35-ft RV in a site very easily. They were adding concrete patios to some of the sites while we were there, and that will make them even better. The only improvement I would like to see is a fenced, off-leash dog park. There are several areas that are great for walking dogs, and having one fenced in would be ideal. We loved our stay so much, we sent a letter of thanks to the campground, and we have done that only a few times in over 10 years of camping. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a new park in a nice area with plenty of shopping available. There is a super Walmart a few miles down the road with fuel stations on the main road and easy on / off from I-95 . With that said, from the time you arrive you will see how mis-designed this park is. The entrance has a sign "make wide turn" but you still run over the entrance island or end up in the 3' deep drainage ditch on the side of the entrance road. There is no signage where the check in "office" is but it's in the "general store" . The interior roads are inconsistent, some narrow with tight turns . There is a 4" city style curb off the roads that you have to drive over to get onto / off your site. Majority of the sites are not level and utilities are wrongfully placed. If you decide to visit this park bring plenty of leveling blocks , at least two lengths of sewer hose and 25' of fresh water hose. There are no sites with shade and when it rains you are in the mud. The " storage " area is in the park and you have no choice but to stare at it from your site. Wi-Fi was decent, as where the bathrooms and showers. The pool is the jewel of the park. The park hosts where friendly and helpful. We will not be visiting this park in the future. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Easy off and Easy on from I-95. Newer camp ground. Cable was being updated and only limited channels were available. WiFi worked great. Nice pool and laundry room. Had a pull through site which was sand but level. No trees in our area and limited trees on the rest of the property. adjacent to a park. Close to Savannah GA, about 20 miles north. No interstate noise but some train noise off in the distance, not to noticeable. Would stay there again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.
