Campsites were well maintained and level for the most part. Full hook up with cable (no cable wire - provide your own). Overall size of campground is small, but sites were adequately sized. Very convenient to interstate 95. Very nice, paved entry and roads throughout. Some sites had cement pad. WIFI was very sketchy and one morning they were working on something and the power went off about three times. This campground seems to cater to snowbirds and overnighters.
Small but nice off leash dog park with areas to walk and convenient disposals.
Office staff was nice to the adults, but not so nice to our teenagers when they went to see if there was something we needed in the camp store. They just didn't want to deal with them.
There are NO activities whatsoever for the younger kids that were in the park. The pool was nice but it was too cold for the kids to get in. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Close to Hilton Head, and it was extremely busy on our brief visit. Enjoyed the golf course located within 3 miles (The Lakes).
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $43.00
We had a lake front space for 4 nights. The site was large and level. Very attractive park with plenty of elbow room. Easy access (about 30 minutes) to both Historic Savannah and Hilto Head Island. Enjoyed the hiking trail. The only negative was the WiFi was terrible. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Easy drive to Savannah. We did the Trolley tour which was excellent. Lots of great BBQ in the area.

This is the second time we've been to this campground. The last time was in November 2013, 6 months after they first opened. We liked it so much that we decided to stay here again while visiting Savannah. We were in site 104 both times. This time we stayed for 10 days. We were close to the restrooms and the laundry. Both are kept clean. The people here are very friendly. They've made quite a few improvements, but it is still a work in progress. They are putting in cement patios and a table at each campsite. This is a beautiful campground, very quiet, and has a peaceful feeling about it. There's a trail that goes around the lake. The only drawback to this campground is that the sites are on dirt. When it rains, it turns to mud. Whenever we come through this area, we'll stop here to see the progress that they have made. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Close to Savannah. We love the Wildlife Drive at the Savannah Natl. Wildlife Refuge.
Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $35.00
We stayed here while traveling I-95. About 4 miles from exit. Campground is only two years old. We were in a large pull-through site. Good water pressure and 50 amp service. Cable TV. Friendly staff. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $30.00
Spacious park, with full connections and level sites. Right off 95, easy access. Very clean and spacious sites. Fishing in small pond and from the looks of the pictures on the board there are plenty of bass in it! We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Close to Hilton Head, and Beaufort. (About 30 minutes to each) Fishing and trails at the park. Very quiet and relaxing.
Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $33.00
Stayed for an overnight stay while heading home from Florida. Nice newer looking campground, with a clean, modern bathhouse and a nice looking little pool. Site was a pull through that was fairly level for our little trailer, but bigger trailers may have some trouble as it arched up in the middle. The site was plenty long enough though. Good electric, and at least for us, everything was close to where we would need it. We arrived late and left early, so the only staff interaction we had was on the phone, which was friendly and professional. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We stayed here twice on our way down to and back from Florida as this was our halfway point. We had a level pull-thru site with a very nice concrete patio. The campground facilities was very nice and clean. There is plenty of space to walk pets. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

We enjoyed our time at this newly developed campground. During check-in, agent (lady) made a comment about my style of RV (which is a 2013 unit) being hard to setup, and they seem to break down a lot. We found this to be untrue and felt this comment wasn't warranted and provided a less inviting attitude. Laundry, bathrooms and pool area were clean. Campground is about 30min drive to Savanna/River Street. Campground within a few miles of gas stations, food, freeway access and grocery store. Our site needed some leveling. View of the lake was amazing, but comes with a high price. Many campers were long term, and these RV's appeared really rough, which presented a negative look on the park. Signs throughout the park warn of alligators, but we never saw any. Verizon phones were able to maintain a 4g signal. WiFi was strong and reliable. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Pull-thru sites are available and we found this campground to be big rig friendly. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

One of the best, most beautiful campgrounds we have stayed at in a long time! The grounds and facilities are well maintained, and all of the camp workers were friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The cable is being converted to digital so we had to use a box on our TV, but it was not a problem. The sites are long and the streets are wide enough that we will request a back-in site on our next stay as we don't see any problem with getting our 35-ft RV in a site very easily. They were adding concrete patios to some of the sites while we were there, and that will make them even better. The only improvement I would like to see is a fenced, off-leash dog park. There are several areas that are great for walking dogs, and having one fenced in would be ideal. We loved our stay so much, we sent a letter of thanks to the campground, and we have done that only a few times in over 10 years of camping. This is a new park in a nice area with plenty of shopping available. There is a super Walmart a few miles down the road with fuel stations on the main road and easy on / off from I-95 . With that said, from the time you arrive you will see how mis-designed this park is. The entrance has a sign "make wide turn" but you still run over the entrance island or end up in the 3' deep drainage ditch on the side of the entrance road. There is no signage where the check in "office" is but it's in the "general store" . The interior roads are inconsistent, some narrow with tight turns . There is a 4" city style curb off the roads that you have to drive over to get onto / off your site. Majority of the sites are not level and utilities are wrongfully placed. If you decide to visit this park bring plenty of leveling blocks , at least two lengths of sewer hose and 25' of fresh water hose. There are no sites with shade and when it rains you are in the mud. The " storage " area is in the park and you have no choice but to stare at it from your site. Wi-Fi was decent, as where the bathrooms and showers. The pool is the jewel of the park. The park hosts where friendly and helpful. We will not be visiting this park in the future. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Easy off and Easy on from I-95. Newer camp ground. Cable was being updated and only limited channels were available. WiFi worked great. Nice pool and laundry room. Had a pull through site which was sand but level. No trees in our area and limited trees on the rest of the property. adjacent to a park. Close to Savannah GA, about 20 miles north. No interstate noise but some train noise off in the distance, not to noticeable. Would stay there again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a newer campground with mostly open sites, although a few have some shade. It is just 1-2 miles off I-95. Take it slow at the entrance as it is a bit odd turning in. The bathrooms/showers are modern and clean. There are several pull-through sites that are long enough for a motor home and towed. Water/sewer/electric/cable were all very good. Most of the roads are paved (some sand) but the site pads are sand, which is pretty messy. The grass was very tall at the sites, but each site has a lovely newer picnic table. Laundry room has newer appliances and is very clean. The pool is lovely. There is a catch and release pond. It is necessary to back over or drive over a curb to get to your site, but they are lower, soft-edged curbs and it’s not too bad. If the grass were cut and the sites were paved, it would be a solid 10. We liked it here and will stay here again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $33.00
The rate is based on the weekly rate. This a new campground and seems to be incomplete in that the sites are packed sand and not really level. There are no concrete patios and you have to run over the curb to get off your site. It rained very hard while we were there and the place turned into a sandy quagmire. The whole design is odd, in that they seem to have spent a lot on the entrance where you have to swing wide to get in due to the over large island. Very impressive landscaping at the entrance and the pool area. The laundry and shower buildings are very clean, but no parking at those locations. As these are packed sand sites the first camp rule is that jack pads are required, which they sell in the store, and is mainly stocked with candies and snacks. We may stay again but only for an overnighter. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice clean park with easy access to I-95 and fuel stations. Sites are packed sand and reasonably level. Plenty of space between sites. Beautiful swimming pool. Very clean and spacious baths/showers. 4 washers and 4 dryers. Friendly and gracious hosts. I would stay again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $48.00
The campground was very well kept and the sites were good size. The Lake View site we stayed in was just Awesome! Most of the other Lake sites are at the edge of the lake and are just as Awesome. At the lake there is a deck where adults and kids alike can catch and release their catch. Our grandkids caught bream, catfish, and turtles using bread and hotdogs. The campground is just off the interstate but there was no interstate noise. The campground is also only about 15 minutes from Savannah and about 30 minutes to Tybee Island. Beaufort, Parris Island, and Hilton Head is just down the street, as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.
