One of the best, most beautiful campgrounds we have stayed at in a long time! The grounds and facilities are well maintained, and all of the camp workers were friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The cable is being converted to digital so we had to use a box on our TV, but it was not a problem. The sites are long and the streets are wide enough that we will request a back-in site on our next stay as we don't see any problem with getting our 35-ft RV in a site very easily. They were adding concrete patios to some of the sites while we were there, and that will make them even better. The only improvement I would like to see is a fenced, off-leash dog park. There are several areas that are great for walking dogs, and having one fenced in would be ideal. We loved our stay so much, we sent a letter of thanks to the campground, and we have done that only a few times in over 10 years of camping. This is a new park in a nice area with plenty of shopping available. There is a super Walmart a few miles down the road with fuel stations on the main road and easy on / off from I-95 . With that said, from the time you arrive you will see how mis-designed this park is. The entrance has a sign "make wide turn" but you still run over the entrance island or end up in the 3' deep drainage ditch on the side of the entrance road. There is no signage where the check in "office" is but it's in the "general store" . The interior roads are inconsistent, some narrow with tight turns . There is a 4" city style curb off the roads that you have to drive over to get onto / off your site. Majority of the sites are not level and utilities are wrongfully placed. If you decide to visit this park bring plenty of leveling blocks , at least two lengths of sewer hose and 25' of fresh water hose. There are no sites with shade and when it rains you are in the mud. The " storage " area is in the park and you have no choice but to stare at it from your site. Wi-Fi was decent, as where the bathrooms and showers. The pool is the jewel of the park. The park hosts where friendly and helpful. We will not be visiting this park in the future. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Easy off and Easy on from I-95. Newer camp ground. Cable was being updated and only limited channels were available. WiFi worked great. Nice pool and laundry room. Had a pull through site which was sand but level. No trees in our area and limited trees on the rest of the property. adjacent to a park. Close to Savannah GA, about 20 miles north. No interstate noise but some train noise off in the distance, not to noticeable. Would stay there again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a newer campground with mostly open sites, although a few have some shade. It is just 1-2 miles off I-95. Take it slow at the entrance as it is a bit odd turning in. The bathrooms/showers are modern and clean. There are several pull-through sites that are long enough for a motor home and towed. Water/sewer/electric/cable were all very good. Most of the roads are paved (some sand) but the site pads are sand, which is pretty messy. The grass was very tall at the sites, but each site has a lovely newer picnic table. Laundry room has newer appliances and is very clean. The pool is lovely. There is a catch and release pond. It is necessary to back over or drive over a curb to get to your site, but they are lower, soft-edged curbs and it’s not too bad. If the grass were cut and the sites were paved, it would be a solid 10. We liked it here and will stay here again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

The rate is based on the weekly rate. This a new campground and seems to be incomplete in that the sites are packed sand and not really level. There are no concrete patios and you have to run over the curb to get off your site. It rained very hard while we were there and the place turned into a sandy quagmire. The whole design is odd, in that they seem to have spent a lot on the entrance where you have to swing wide to get in due to the over large island. Very impressive landscaping at the entrance and the pool area. The laundry and shower buildings are very clean, but no parking at those locations. As these are packed sand sites the first camp rule is that jack pads are required, which they sell in the store, and is mainly stocked with candies and snacks. We may stay again but only for an overnighter. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

The campground was very well kept and the sites were good size. The Lake View site we stayed in was just Awesome! Most of the other Lake sites are at the edge of the lake and are just as Awesome. At the lake there is a deck where adults and kids alike can catch and release their catch. Our grandkids caught bream, catfish, and turtles using bread and hotdogs. The campground is just off the interstate but there was no interstate noise. The campground is also only about 15 minutes from Savannah and about 30 minutes to Tybee Island. Beaufort, Parris Island, and Hilton Head is just down the street, as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. Facilities were all new, nice and were very clean. Lake was pretty. Surprisingly, we didn't have many bug issues. There really are no sites with shade. Heard trains constantly in the distance. Seemed like a lot of long term people and very few families. No playground. It felt like they'd prefer to cater to an older crowd and not families, but maybe it was the lack of playground and people there that made me feel that way. Wasn't even half full when we were there. It was OK, but don't think we'd go back. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Nice clean park with easy access to I-95 and fuel stations. Sites are packed sand and reasonably level. Plenty of space between sites. Beautiful swimming pool. Very clean and spacious baths/showers. 4 washers and 4 dryers. Friendly and gracious hosts. I would stay again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This year old RV park was great! Very clean, nice sized, level sites, very convenient to I-95, but so quiet. We limped in after a couple of blowouts and stayed a month. Hated to leave. Office and Maintenance staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again if in the area. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

The campground cable and WIFI were very weak. Almost all the cable channels were fuzzy and the WIFI was very, very slow. The Park Host never greeted us and stared at us every time we drove by. There are a lot of long-term campers at the park which detracts from the parks beauty. With some care and cleaning up of the long-term areas, this can be a great park for all the travelers on Highway 95 to visit. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

I have to disagree with the other comments before me. This is a lovely new park. Is it completed? No, there is some work to be done on the sites. But with speaking with the camp host I learned that plans are underway to complete the sites. The pool is great, the bathhouse are very clean and the laundry room is great. Very close to Savannah, @ 17 miles; Hilton Head @ 30 miles and Bluffton @ 5 miles. Easy on & off I-95. We stayed here a week and loved every minute of it. We will definitely be back! Just to correct the last review, Savannah is 21 miles away, not 50 miles. Okay, my review: I think the reviews for this place are a smidgen too generous. It definitely does not deserve 8, 9, or 10 stars. No Way! Not real sure what this developer was thinking with the design of this place and it seems like he only went halfway with it. The sites are strangely elevated high above the road (elevated 4 or 5 foot higher than the road). The sites themselves are dirt/sand/weed/grass, mostly soft sand. If it were to rain and you had to leave next day, I'm sure the ground would be super-duper soft and you'd possibly sink in. We did hear trains at night (at maybe midnight a couple times). One good thing, the Internet was really good most of the time but the park was only about 20% full when we were there. We also had a swarm of huge black hornet looking things that kept getting into our rig (3 of them in 5 hours and we had the door closed). Not sure if the place can spray for those or not. I didn't appreciate the guy in the golf cart blowing the dirt off the road onto everyones rigs. This happened a couple days out of the week. That practice really needs to be rethought. The workers at the place seemed friendly. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a newer campground and could be really nice with easy access to I-95, Savannah, and Beaufort. Negatives: Going into and coming out of the campground is very narrow with a concrete median. Only main roads are paved with interior roads and sites just loose dirt with NO gravel. If it rains, you would have serious problems. There are no curb cutouts, so when exiting every site you go over a curb. The first site we were take to had electrical hookup in back and water and sewer way up front. The site was so sloped on both the front and back ends, it was impossible to level. It appeared that little attention was given to leveling any of the sites. I would be surprised if the developers were RVers. They certainly stopped short when planning and developing this park. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Rate reflects weekly rate. We enjoyed our stay here, help was friendly. Sites were big and clean, drives are packed sandy gravel, good power and water pressure. About 20 miles from Hilton Head, 50 miles to Savannah. If in the area again we would return here. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This park is clearly unfinished. Its seems as though they laid out the utilities in the park, paved the roads, and were gonna pave the sites but never got that far. So you have to drive over the curbs to get in and out of your sites, which is a bit unusual. The sites or sort of a pea gravel/ sand type but of decent size and our site was fairly level. Although there are cable connectors on all sites, apparently only some sites have cable available and you have to pay extra for it. I did get a couple channels over the air. The water hookups were extremely low, so it you could not add a filter without an extension. Even adding an extension was kind of tight. There was some slight traffic noise but for the most part it was very peaceful here. Nice little lake and nice trails nearby plus easy access to Savannah, Hilton Head or Beaufort. Staff was friendly. The park has a lot of potential. We would stay here again for a few days & longer if they actually finish the sites out. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
