Located between Savannah and Hilton Head this is a conveniently located park to see attractions. Never saw a host as all the business was conducted over the phone or by notes and signs in the office. They only take cash or check which is put in a drop box in the office. We stayed here a week and no one from the campground ever showed their face. It is a big RV park with lots of long-termers in the back, all kept nicely and are quiet. No store, no showers or bath rooms and we did not see a laundry. No map but all sites are clearly numbered and all wide pull-thrus. Hook ups are fairly new and in good order. Cable signal is good but channels are extremely limited. WiFi is good. Nice big dog park. A few picnic tables. Sites are level. The big draw back is the material they use fore the interior roads - a black sandy dirt mixed with reclaimed asphalt that makes everything dirty! Some road noise. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.
There are no close by shopping centers or supermarkets so be prepared to drive a distance for supplies.

I came during off peak so the park was almost empty. It's not a resort so no pool or public showers. There is a laundry room which was large and very clean; even had a shelf of books to borrow. There is a closed in pavilion that is used for park events, so they probably do offer activities during peak season. The sites are gravel and mostly level. We had a pull thru site and many sites are large enough for big rigs. There is also a little dog park. The park is located in a rural area; the nearest shopping strip is in Bluffton - about 10 miles away, although there's a small grocery store down the road. The park is very clean, well maintained, and quiet. It is also only about 10 miles from downtown Savannah, so it is very convenient.
I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Fifth Wheel.
Downtown Savannah is 10 miles away, and shopping malls are 10 miles away in Bluffton.
Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $30.00
This park is close to Savannah and close for visiting the old downtown area. Our site was level with easy in and out. It was very close to the road which is heavily traveled and noisy. The sewer connection was terrible. At least a foot off the ground. The office is not staffed but there is a phone number to call. There was heavy rain while we were there and some of the sites were under water. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.
Only a few miles with easy access to downtown Savannah. Old town trolley tour is well worth the price.
Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $25.00
Internal roads are gravel, sites are level, facilities worked well, our site was satellite friendly because we asked for one. Staff were friendly, park Wi-Fi worked fairly well, T-Mobile cell service was fair. The park was not very quiet due to the proximity of a highway, but it was tolerable. Very convenient to Savannah. We would stay here again. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is basically a self service park. You fill out a registration, call a number. Someone comes over takes your money (no credit cards) and points you to your site. Then they leave and you don't see anyone else around. No instructions about trash or cable stations or washers and dryers. You are on your own. Park is close to Savannah and sites are easy to get in and out but the experience would be much better if the owners would be more involved. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $25.00
The campground did not have a restroom or shower because it was on sewer. The dog run was great. The campsite was level and undergoing upgrades. It was very convenient to Savannah and Hilton head. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Rate reflects a Passport America discount. As previous reviewers stated, this is an excellent park for visiting Savannah. It has been about 2 years since we had been here before and we can see they are working to improve the park. They have added gravel to level some of the sites, added a nice dog park, and their Wi-Fi is one of the best we have experienced. While they do not have a pool, that is all right by us. We come here to go to Savannah, Tybee Island and tour the area in general. The park is quiet at night. The electric and water pressure is very good. The sites are nicely spaced and are pull-through. We would return here. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.Undo

This park was just "OK". Great for a short stop over but not somewhere I'd want to camp long term. There isn't much here in the way of amenities, but it will suffice for a few days. There is a laundry facility on site, but many of the machines were broken. On the plus side, it is very convenient to Savannah, GA. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Rate includes $5 Passport America discount. They game the system here. They post a nightly rate of $50, but then $30 a night for just about everyone, AAA, Good Sam, Military, Seniors, etc. So the real rate is really $30. But it is a good location for visiting Savannah so it is not a bad value. Good utilities and very strong usable WiFi which was a plus. Could use a little TLC on the grounds as it is a bit rough around the edges here. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.Undo

Stayed here for 2 months at the monthly rate of $375 plus electric. Large mostly grass-gravel sites. Electric was very good. They are putting in a large fenced doggie area. Very friendly people. Owner very helpful. Would stay again. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.Undo

Rate is Passport America. Normal rate is $30. We read the reviews before getting here so we knew we had to self-register and park, but that was no problem. We found a nice long pretty level spot in the middle of the campground with shade. Could not get satellite but plenty of cable channels. Hookups worked well with 50 amp showing 121 volts, Wi-Fi good, but noticeable road noise. Good home base to explore Savannah & Hilton Head, etc. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $25.00
This park is a bit funky. The parking surface is grass, some gravel and some dirt; that's the funky part. After a big rain like happens often here, it could be rather difficult. That's the bad news. The things that are good make it just fine being here. Most importantly is it's location of only a few miles from Savannah and Hilton Head. The cost reported is Passport America weekly rate. The utilities were quite adequate and well placed. The cable TV has a gazillion channels and the Wi-Fi is free and fast running about 10mbps. We had no problem leveling our rig. One problem in the park, however, is there is rarely anyone manning the office or even the phone for that matter. We would certainly stay here again in spite of some aggravations. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.Undo

Easy to find and set up. We came in late, the office was closed, so we picked a site and set up per instructions. Very simple. Nice clean park. There were no facilities like shower and restrooms, but we have both in our rig. We stayed one night as planned. We saw a few ant piles, but it wasn't a big concern. We would stay again. Clean level spot up front, good cable, good WiFi, easy access, nice people! We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $25.00
Rate reflects Passport America membership. This is a no frills park: no pool, laundry, shower, bathrooms. It IS a pleasant stop for a few days close to Savannah, clean with level pull through sites, solid electric, water with great pressure, good cable and Wi-Fi. It is a very quiet and good place to stay away from the multitudes of people touring Savannah. As noted in another post, there are no staff present upon arrival. Form to fill out and instructions on how to make payment are available in the building. It is a kind of do-it-yourself operation. Find the site you like, set up, put payment in the envelope and slip it in the lock box. No muss, no fuss. We would stay again. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.Undo
