Close enough to perfect for us. Great sites with concrete pads and great hookups. You pick your site. Suggestions would be a fenced in dog run and a bathroom near the marina. A few more dog bag stations would be nice too but all in all it was a very nice park and if we get back to this area we will return here. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
Historic sites. One Hot MaMa restaurant. Bring a full wallet.
Very nice, clean facility. We were in site 6. Any negative comments that I have would be regarding the Wi-Fi service. It was terrible in our site. Other than that it was a wonderful stay at a great facility. Daily trash pick-up, crews come around with blowers to clean any tree debris from your concrete site. Wonderful views of the Intercoastal. Exceptionally friendly & well staffed resort! Nice, quiet, extremely well kept RV Resort. This was our first time, after some friend strongly suggested, and they were right. We'll be back for many more visits! Lovely people, lovely scenery, and if you're into biking, BRING your bikes, plenty of bike paths & trails to enjoy & ride the beaches too! RV park is adjacent to marsh and open water as well as just past the bridge over to Hilton Head Island. Sites are owned, and if you arrive while office is open, a golf cart is available to drive around the park to select from sites available for transients. Lanes are paved. Site 27 is easy access, back-in, level, concrete pad. Site is wide, wide enough to park truck, shaded, and backs against a wooded area. Most sites are close. Mosquitoes were a problem in early October (downrated resort for this). Campground is quiet; although, in some sites there is distant road noise. Did not use either of two swimming pools, but they looked clean. Laundry and bath houses were clean. There is a spacious play ground with some equipment for children, horse shoe pit, basketball court, tennis court, book exchange, DVD borrowing library, & exercise room. WiFi reception from this site is good; however, staff cautioned that that is not the case everywhere in the park. There is cable hook-up; however, we used over the air and received all major stations. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Right on the ocean inlet. Boat ramps for your enjoyment. Boat rentals available. Small upscale restaurant. Recommend crab cakes and reservations for it. Nice employees. Close to all. Large lots with lounge chairs and some with picnic tables. WiFi in park. Cable too. No problems with phone service. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.
First time staying here. I have no complaints. We brought our kayaks and were able to launch from the kayak rental area. Most sites are large enough for your rig and a couple of vehicles. The bathrooms at the center pool area were very clean. We enjoyed the place so much we rarely ventured to the beach areas of Hilton Head. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Travel Trailer.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We did not have a waterfront site; however, it is a short walk to the harbor docks where we viewed amazing sunsets every night. We watched dolphins, egrets, and blue herons. They have various tables and swings but we usually sat on the dock. I only saw the pool at the harbor but it looked clean. Our site, although a tight fit for our 45 foot motorhome, was fairly level and surrounded with flowers. We had no problems with noise from neighbors. They pick up trash if you leave it at the end of the driveway but one day they forgot ours even though we put it out early in the morning. Apparently, each site is individually owned so the amenities varied - some had nice furniture and fireplaces and others had simple picnic tables. Some of the pads need replacing as they are cracked and uneven. The entrance is tight and I can't imagine fitting more than two units there at the same time. Also, the interior roads are cramped but doable if you know how to handle your rig. There are biking/walking paths all over the town. We usually drove closer to town into one of the parks (it's free parking) and biked from there. We will be back! We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
Beautifully landscaped privately owned sites. The park is very nicely taken care of. Two pools, one over looking the inter coastal water way. Lots of walking around the park in the shade. Very nice staff, helpful in every way. Easy to move around the park. Normal size lots, not huge. Some on the water but very hard to get. Right on the island and across from a lovely preserve that you can hike, bike or boat. Marina if you want to hire a mooring for your own boat. Can sup board right down from your site or rent any water sport craft without leaving the park. Good restaurant on the water. The only negative is the area is busy, right on the main entrance causeway onto the island so it can be hard to get out into traffic. Not impossible but be patient. Would stay again for sure. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.
Our second stay here. Beautiful sites with a fair bit of shade and privacy, great management, and excellent access to Hilton Head Island. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Travel Trailer.
Great park ! Beautiful setting, great amenities, friendly staff, right on the water of a GEE-OR-GEOUS island. The ONLY thing they could improve would be to allow you to reserve a particular site, but even the worst site is better than most sites! While the obnoxious next door neighbors weren't the parks fault, management not toning them down definitely suppressed the best park on our Savannah trip. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is quite nice if you want a good place to park and lay low. All of the sites are on concrete and the park is well maintained. We were very fortunate there was a site on the water that was available. Those sites have grassy areas, private decks and wonderful views, but most of the sites are not like that, so for $59 (the non-water sites), all you're really getting is a nice clean place to park with a pool. The park is great for bike riding because it's paved. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $60.00
Nice quiet park. Lots are nice and easy to get into. Good water and electric. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi is not all that great. Cannot connect most of the time. I would come here again. I did look at the showers and bathrooms. They are quite small and very dark. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $59.00
This was more of a 9.5 rating. I would have given a 10, but some wear is beginning to show on little things, like the tennis courts need resurfacing and the wooden directional signs in the park need repainting. Having said that, overall this RV Resort is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful and the sites are all big enough for our 40' fifth wheel. As other reviewers have stated, upon check in you are given a golf cart and you pick your own site, which helps both with your satisfaction, and is a great incentive for the site owners to maintain their site: ugly site means no rental income. They have added more WiFi spots and will give you a map and hand write in where the hot spots are if WiFi is important to you. We will definitely return. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $45.00
we spent 4 nites here and from beginning to end it was an excellent stay. Management was the best! Every site was a good choice, of course most of them were filled. Great location to the island, restaurants etc. The entire place is maintained, daily. Our first stay here, but will return when in the area. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $61.00
They have a unusual check in policy..you drive one of their golf carts around and select a empty space then go back to office where your coach is parked and tell them the site you want...no preassigned sites. They have 13 waterfront sites, some pull in and some back in. Many full time residents in trailers especially in the back half of the park. Spacious sites. Trees blocked out sat but we used their cable. Wifi was strong and used it all 3 days of our stay. Large pool in center of park us a waterfront pool by Sunset Grill-their restaurant- which was wonderful- suggest reservations as it was packed when we ate there. Very nice office staff and friendly site owners, which there are many. Several old RV's which should be hauled away. Some degree of looseness in restrictions on what a owner or guest can do or display in their site. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
