Immaculate grounds, very nice sites that are landscaped. Concrete pads which keeps everything cleaner. There was a tennis court in the back of our space (190) which we used to play pickleball with our own temporary net and sidewalk chalk. Everything was well kept. Cable was excellent with lots of channels while WiFi being not very good. Very quiet as it is away from the highway, no planes or trains. This is a true RV resort. Traffic in Hilton Head Island is terrible (even in the off season). There is a left turn into town from the park that is dangerous as there are so many cars on highway 278. Have patience! We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We biked the bike trails in Sea Pines which was great (worth the $10 entry fee) while the other bike paths in town are not relaxing as there are lots of streets and driveways with aggressive drivers. A day trip to Savannah for a walking tour with Genteel and Bard tours was very good.

A little more than we would usually spend on a campground, but was very nice. We didn't have a chance to kayak, but could have. Very quiet. It was nice to be able to go pick your site using a golf cart. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Convenient to Hilton Head Island and Savannah. Be prepared for 1.25 toll to HHI. It does save quite a bit of time, though. Grocery stores, Lowes and Target convenient.

This is our favorite campground in the Hilton Head area. We've stayed there many times in the past and have enjoyed every time we've been there. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the sites are all clean and well kept. The pool, tennis courts, laundry and the bathrooms are all kept very clean and well stocked. I very much like the "pick your own site" way of selecting a campsite. We have already planned on going back here maybe a couple of times next year. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Great RV Resort. Everyone was so friendly right from check-in. I love the fact that you can toodle around on a golf cart and choose your own site. Sites are owned and the pride of ownership shows. I picked site #81 which had a nice water feature in the back. The sound of the water was very relaxing. Nice table with umbrella and all hookups worked well. Main pool overlooks the intercostal waterway and it was fun to see the dolphins playing from the comfort off a lounge chair! There is no access to the public bike paths from the park which was disappointing as I did not have a car to transport the bike but other than that I had a great stay and will definitley be back! We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

My wife and I have stayed here several times, the most recent was for 2 nights at site #55 overlooking the water (we splurged). We have a 35 ft 5th wheel. This place is very nice & very consistent. The sites all have concrete pads, lots of trees, good interior roads and pretty good privacy. All back-in sites, but pretty easy to do. Several very nice swimming pools and a nice jacuzzi at one of the pools. Wonderful view of the Atlantic intracoastal Waterway. The RV Park is very well maintained. The onsite staff is very professional & helpful. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park. Mature landscaping with big shade trees, privacy shrubs & palm trees. Lots are individually owned and are different, but are all very nice. Some sites have full/partial sun and others are very shaded. We had a waterfront site with a deck at the end of the site overlooking the boat docks. Site was double-wide and long enough for our 5th wheel & truck. Full hook-ups on both sides of the site. Park was quiet. Salt water pools (2) were clean and had plenty of deck chairs, however, there weren't any tables or umbrellas poolside. There is a restaurant & marina with boat rentals on site. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for only a few days. My wife and I in our 5th wheel, and my daughter and her fiancee in her TT. My grandson was graduating Parris Island (about an hour drive away) so we didn't get to spend much time enjoying Hilton Head but, coming back to this little paradise was wonderful. It quite, it's kept up, has 2 great pools and is right on the water. This RV Resort is one of those that the sites are privately owned, so each site is different. Many have outdoor furniture, some have fire pits or grills. It just depends on what the owner puts into it. Some, like the neighbor I had, live there almost on a permanent basis. Unlike other campgrounds were there are "long term" campers, any of the permanents must keep their site up. What a pleasure. The staff is very friendly. They have a nice clean camp store (not a lot of RV stuff). The place is very dog friendly. Sites aren't pre-assigned. They will assign when you come in or, they will let you take a golf cart and drive around the resort and pick your site! We can't wait to go back. Hope to spend 2 weeks there next visit. All this, and it's backdrop is Hilton Head Island!!!! We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The cost of this RV park is very high but well worth it. 1. The entrance in is off of a very busy highway and you need to shoot the gap and in a 45 foot motor home this can be tricky. 2. Check in is thorough and the staff is very professional. You are given keys to a golf cart to pick out your site. The sites are individually owned and you can choose from many upgrades that the owners have made. 3. There are two pools and a Marina with jet skis and all kinds of toys. Also a fabulous restaurant 4. Very quiet and there was a large park across from us. The RV park has an amazing feel to it and the people are very friendly. 5. Our site was a little tight to back in, but it was wide and fully paved. Nice services. 6. We used their dog wash and it was excellent. 7. The Wifi was excellent and we picked our site so we could get Satellite. Highly Recommend this RV Park. Would like to have stayed much longer. Tips for other Campers:

Beach parking is easy. Golfed at Bear Creek Golf course and would not recommend this place. It took 5 1/2 hours to do 18 holes! On the start of the second hole we asked them to do something about the 7 players and 4 carts on the hole ahead of us. The Marshall came and split them up but only for them to rejoin again!! They did nothing the second time! Complained at the clubhouse and their response was 'oh the bachelor party' and no compensation.

We stayed here for a week. We were lucky enough to get an outside loop spot as we pulled in early in the day around 11:00. As you can choose your own site in a golf cart I would recommend getting there as early as possible for the best choices. Our spot was surrounded by tall shrubs and trees so was very private. The site had a chiminea, a table and two wire chairs, and two wooden chairs. The space (#46) was plenty long enough for our 32' fifth wheel and pickup. The park is immaculate. Maintenance workers keep it pristine daily. The only small issue I noticed was that the wood deck leading to a gazebo overlooking the water had several severely warped boards creating a trip hazard. They had a nice exercise room and laundry. Staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall, exceptional park worth the relatively high rate. If we come back this way we would stay here again! We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Hilton Head is extremely bike friendly. My wife and I rode around the entire island (approx 23 miles) on well maintained paths. There are several nice beaches on the island but took 20-25 mins to get there.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park for 6 consecutive years for the RBC Heritage golf tournament. It's a very nice park and we'll certainly return to it for any future visits to HHI. As reported in other reviews, the check-in process is to drive around the park in a golf cart and select your own site. There are a few sites on the water, but I've never seen one of them available when we checked-in. We prefer sites on the "outer loop" as opposed to the "inner loop" because they are further away from the pool and tennis court and the noise associated with them. Park is extremely well run, well kept, neat, clean and secure. You'll pay a little more here, but it will be difficult to find a nicer park. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 20 days during March 2018, full hookups and a level concrete site. The park is right on the water with access to boating and fishing. For the most part the campground was full with visitors from all over the country and Canada. We think it is very good value. Book as early as you are able, seems a very popular spot. Overall Rating:

As others have said, each site is privately owned so the amenities will vary. Some had water features and umbrellas and tables etc while others are very basic. The check in process is unique. They took no deposit and when we arrived, we got in a golf cart and drove around the entire park to pick out a site based on the availability sheet they gave us which is coordinated to your dates. While this was nice in that we could select our site, it made the check in process prolonged. There is only room for one or two RVs at the office, so another group on a caravan had RVs backed up onto the access road for nearly an hour. Luckily we arrived before that. There are a few sites right on the water and some have partial views through the trees and and across the street. All sites are back-ins. The marina is lovely, especially at sunset, but you cannot access without a boat owner or on a charter. The clubhouse is terrific for groups and there is even a separately owned 5-star restaurant on the grounds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice pool and tennis courts. Good cable TV, wifi and AT&T signal. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Excellent food and view from the Quarterdeck Restaurant under the iconic Sea Pines Lighthouse. Costs $6 to get into Sea Pines. Once in, you can access any of the restaurants or golf clubs. You don't have to be a resident or a member. Visit the Sea Pines GC clubhouse. It's like an art museum of golf. The Sea Pine Beach Club has a terrific beach and restaurant/bar. We ate at & enjoyed the Skull Creek Boathouse and the Old Oyster Factory which we'd recommend along with Hudsons.
