Except for its very remote location this is a very solid and friendly rv park. Dog run is quite small, but nice grounds for walking your dog. Owners are accessible and friendly. I had a pull thru and tho flat and clean, it was a bit short for my 26 foot trailer and truck so hooking up to the sewer was a stretch. Its a great place to stop for an overnight. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly small, cozy park somewhat out in the middle of nowhere. As it was halfway between home and our final destination, we gave it a shot.

The road leading to the park is quite narrow, but lightly traveled. We did our best not to hog the road, but if you're in anything bigger than a pop-up you're going to be crossing the double yellow lines. No biggie, though, as the locals seem to be used to it.

While the roads in the park and the sites themselves are all gravel, the park seemed well maintained. Our pull-through site was level and long enough to accommodate our motorhome and toad with some room to spare. We had plenty of room to put out our slides without crowding our neighbors while still comfortably able to enjoy the picnic table. We also had a firepit at our site, but with temps into the 90s, we decided against using it.

The family that runs the park is very friendly and greeted us warmly upon our arrival despite the fact the power company was about to disrupt the day by replacing a faulty transformer. There's a nice dog park for the pooches to run in and a well maintained pool for your swimming enjoyment. Wifi was offered but we did not partake.

While our site was shaded by trees on either side, we were able to get DirecTV service with no problem whatsoever. Verizon cell service was also satisfactory.

One thing to note is that this campground is close to Presbyterian College (Go Hose!) and you'll find families coming to visit their kids or catching a football game staying there over the weekends. Nobody was disruptive, but sites may be hard to find depending on what's going on in Clinton. As there's not much else to do nearby, those not up for the college festivities seemed, like us, to be overnighting. And while there did seem to be a few semi-permanent residents there, there wasn't a proliferation of run down rigs.

All in all, it's a nice park for a night or two and we'd stay again. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Above and beyond the statistics, this place is friendly and comfortable. Except for the lack of cable TV, everything here is nice. The dog run is big enough and clean. The pool is refreshing and comfortable. The people, both staff & campers were great people. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We were returning home to Midwest from Fl and found Magnolia through AllStays. New, very nice owners helped us with a spot late at night. A block away was a cafe with a "special" for us even as they were closing. The next morning was Easter Sunday and we were welcomed to a great breakfast by the hosts. They moved from DC to start this campground and are making it homey and good for travelers as well as seasonals. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Very easy access from I-26. The 1/2 mile road to the park is a bit narrow but not a real problem. We were led to our site. Sites are gravel but mostly level. Lots of trees. Grounds could use some maintenance - trees trimmed, weeds sprayed but overall this is a very nice, quiet park. We will definitely stay here again. Right off I-26. Call and do not follow gps. Sites need gravel and some work. Not a resort but new owners are trying hard. Plenty of places to eat within 5-7 miles. Park is on the left. The park's sign is not distinctive so it can easily be missed. All roads in the park are dirt. The pool is closed this time of year. New curbing was being installed while we were there. Good for an overnight or a few days. Motorhomes longer than 40 feet may find it difficult navigating the roads. There are barking dogs on a neighboring property but we did not hear them when we closed our door. There is no cable. May be difficult to utilize your satellite if you are under trees. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Staff was great, helped me get on line with the wifi. The park was well maintained with level sites. We stayed 1 night. Would stay here again. Lot spacing was spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was gravel, featuring a picnic table. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 2 nights on site 25, nice and open for satellite reception. the office staff was very pleasant and helpful and guided us to the location we'd be staying. This was just a stop on the road to rest and catch up on some housework and relaxing.
The biggest drawback was the constant barking of dogs across the street. Not sure if there's a kennel or shelter or just a family with a lot of noisy dogs. We were prepared to stay for four days due to the great price with Passport America, but decided two days was plenty. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

There is a Walmart about 15 miles away, otherwise, not much in the immediate area that appealed to us.

We stayed for a single night on our way to Almond, NC. It is very convenient from exit 60 on I-26. The staff were friendly and it was a good campground for an overnight. We had good 50 amp service, good water pressure and sewer. The site was a pull thru and long enough for out 35 foot and Toad, but not too level front to back (front low).

My complaint is the dusty inner roads. Unfortunately, we have a DP with a rear radiator so the fan, even at idle just sucks up the dusty blows it through the radiator and all over my TOAD and the back of my RV. It is the dusty roads that would keep me from returning here.

My rate is a Passport America discount rate. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Magnolia overnight on our way home. We were very happy with the price as a Passport America member and they honored it with no problems. The owner was very nice. We were escorted to our site and found it to be comfortable. Although we didn't use it, the pool seemed very clean and nice. For a basic campground, it was very well kept.

Note: Upon returning home, we found that we had left our very expensive surge protector connected to the electric pole. I called and they sent someone to check. Lo and behold, it was still there. The ownermtold me he would mail it back and I could just send him a check to reimburse him for the postage. That honesty and kindness is something I will remember.

I would recommend Magnolia to anyone. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
