This is one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at. Immaculate grounds, courteous staff, and quiet.

They do not have cable and the Wi-Fi is not very fast and often at peak times almost impossible to get on at all. I have the Dish so no cable was not a problem.

The bath house is very clean and you have your own private room with toilet and shower. Very nice.

We stored our RV there over the winter and it was so easy. Just call make your reservation and when you get there your RV is on the site you reserved. They charge $15 each way to pull it and take it back. Storage lot is very secure. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Just Google "what to do in Myrtle Beach" and you will get a large list of activities.

When traveling to the south use expressway Route 31. Can go from North Myrtle to South Myrtle in less than a 1/2 hour.

We camped for 3 nights and paid $296.37. There was a mistake with our bill, which mgmt acknowledged, but refused to do anything about due to it being called to their attn after we checked out. The campground is clean, sites are a nice size, but I caution you from staying at this campground as they do not value their repeat customers. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is my favorite Campground ever! Sites are more than enough and are positioned so you are not looking at other campsites but the beautiful lake on the property. Showers/bathroom were very clean as well as the entire campground. Easy walk/bike paved trail around the lake and plenty to do for adults and children. Only 20 miles from Myrtle beach but they have their own beach on site, very quiet and relaxing. We plan on going back to this one next year. The Sea Captain's Table in Myrtle Beach was an excellent choice for seafood, although a little pricey but we went for lunch.

Hard not to love this place; perhaps the nicest park we have stayed in. Incredibly spacious, well laid out, and meticulously well kept. The walk around the lake is very nice, as are the facilities. The office has a good selection of RV supplies. Park Wifi worked well, though the park was not crowded (no competition for bandwidth). The park 30 amp circuit breaker tripped when running the AC and the microwave; a first for our RV. It was a hot August afternoon, but it may be the park circuit breaker was weak--we will let the hosts know. Also of note, the premium sites no longer offer private hot tubs on site. All that said, this is a wonderful park, all the positive reviews are absolutely correct. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Long Bay Golf Course and Aberdeen Country Club are two local golf courses. Both are nice; Long Bay is longer (7000+ yards) and more challenging. The Brentwood Restaurant and Wine Bistro in Little River (20 min drive) is an excellent French Restaurant.

This is a second visit to Willow Tree, the first was 3 years ago. Little has changed, the sites are paved, long and staggered, which affords a lot of privacy. The restrooms are clean and very well maintained. The pool is spacious, clean, and well maintained. They have a lake, which looked very nice, but we did not use it.

The laundry facilities have been upgraded, with more washers and dryers.

Willow Tree is a very quiet resort located in Longs, SC. It is a bit of a drive to the Myrtle Beach approx 30 minutes, approx 1 hr. to Hunnington Beach, that being said Willow Tree is one of the cleanest, well maintained resorts we have stayed in. The only suggestions I would have for improvements would be the addition of another bath house on the opposite end of the resort, and a change machine at the laundry facility. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have visited. The grounds are well kept and manicured. The staff is extremely nice and the camp ground is very secluded. The lake is full of fish, very big bass. Fun for kids with swimming in the lake or pool. Nice recreational room with ping pong and billiards. The grounds are in driving distance of North Myrtle Beach which has lots of things to do for tourist. We will definitely be camping here again soon. This is a great RV park, a wonderful place to stay while in Myrtle Beach. They have very big roomy sites and if you get the lakeside sites you can get a 'Hot Tub' on your site. They also offer 'Buddy Site' for two RVs with door sides facing each other, which is great when you are meeting friends for an added pleasure for your sites. You will love this park, very well maintained and very clean. Will definitely be going back to this park. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

While there be sure to visit Restaurant Row in North Myrtle Beach. Two of our favorites are: Preston's and the Original Benjamin's (next to the restaurant with a giant crab on top). Also go to the Carolina Landing to visit all the shops and be sure to see the White Tigers and Cubs, you can hold the cubs and have your picture taken with them. Shows are close by that are very good.

Wow. Where does one begin when everything is absolutely wonderful? The staff was great. The restrooms are perfect. The sites are large, with concrete pads. There is a 37 acre pond with a cement walkway to walk on or ride your bike on. The path around the pond has wide open spaces to exercise your pet on. The campers we met were friendly and helpful. The utilities work great and the television comes in over your bat wing antenna. The park atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. We have absolutely no affiliation with this park other than being a retail customer. The residential neighborhood in route to this park makes it seem impossible that such a treasure could be at the end, but it was. There are many shopping places and restaurants within a reasonable drive. We will definitely go back to this park and plan to spend several months here. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here for the DRV rally and the campground, manager, and the staff were great! If you are planning a rally I would seriously consider this one. The 50 amp site worked without a hitch, the sites are spread out comfortably, and the roads wide enough for big rigs. There is a beautiful entrance into the park and the amenities all worked fine. There is a nice walking/bike trail around the lake and hubby is still thinking this is the nicest park we've stayed in, in 10 years of camping. I will agree it is one of the best. Location is approx. 12 miles or so from N. Myrtle, but there is a nice Food Lion not far from the campground. The only negative is that the campground could put better signage out, especially coming from the north. Our GPS took us in the back way of Buck Creek road and we were sure we were lost, but we made it fine. I would suggest going down to 905 and then to Buck Creek road. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 6 years ago, and wanted to return because that was such a positive experience. This is truly an exceptional campground. The sites are Very spacious, well-maintained,and many are shaded with mature trees. We do not really use all the amenities covered by other reviewers, but they are first-rate. We love the peace and quiet here, and will definitely return. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

I have reviewed this campground before and as so many have posted, gave it great scores. We have camped at Willow Tree every year for the past four years. But that's probably coming to an end. Willow Tree used to be such a fun campground for the whole family to enjoy. Beautiful campground with fun things to do which help keep you from remembering you don't get the ocean. But that all seems to be fading away. Gone are the hay rides. Was told the Halloween activities this year will not happen. In the game room appears to be the same equipment that was there four years, only worn out. Nothing seems to have improved in four years. But most everything appears to be getting worn out. Its still a wonderful resort campground and quite beautiful. But if you are a family looking for a fun stay, you might want to go to the beach or Tabor City. Willow Tree appears to becoming the place for snow birds and those looking for a quiet stay. That's fine for some but if you take the whole family, its starting to get a little old and boring. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Upon arriving at our site, I was surprised as to how big it was. I have been in some campgrounds that would make 5 sites out of one here. Nice long paved pull thru with concrete patio. Fire rings and even a charcoal grill. Store fairly well stocked. But if not, there is a grocery store within a five min drive from campground. Close (within 20-30 min drive) to North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach. No CATV, but could pickup about a dozen stations using RV antenna. Free games in rec hall and good fishing in very large lake. Would recommend and will return. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very beautiful and quiet. Lots of green. Very nice paved trail around lake, doggie bag stations throughout. Best WiFi experience. Fast and reliable. Super long pull throughs. All sites paved, level, 50 amp full hookups, buddy sites available too. We got hot tub site, very nice and they do a complete change of water between campers. Only minus: very expensive rate for a resort that took us an hour to get to Myrtle Beach in May 1 traffic. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

First, the rate shown represents a 90 day snowbird rate. The park is still one of our favorite places to stay. With that, it is showing some age and the infrastructure is needing some updates. The laundry room needs attention as several washers and dryers have been "out of order" for the stay, the roads are paved but cracking and need sealing before they are gone completely. Most every site needs some attention as there is little grass now and mostly sand. The park did get the new Wi-Fi system up and running this year, which was a plus. Staff as always is friendly and helpful. The park seems to be moving towards more and more permanent sites which is a big disappointment. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
