Despite the downpours we had a great time. We had a pull- thru site which was great for getting settled in the rain. All hookups were accessible and worked fine. The cable gave us over 35 channels to chose from and the parks internet was good enough to allow use of the fire stick for watching movies. Dogs are allowed on the beach after 5pm and before 10am so the little guy had some beach time too. During the rain while not watching movies we were able to call Lyft for a $6 ride to the outlet mall. Park has a restaurant for breakfast with great food and reasonable prices. Our one day on the beach was great. Definitely will be visiting this park again. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Typical beachfront cg. Sites are fairly close. Their are a lot of permanent " tiny homes" and rental trailers here. We were able to be three spots from the ocean ( walking distance). Many trailers are stored nearby and people have them hauled to and from by the storage people. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Each site has a roof shelter over the picnic table. Many people wrapped around the entire shelter in plastic sheets to " enclose " the picnic table from the constant wind. Apparently the owners are ok with this.

This is a great park for a beach stay. Pull-thru sites face north giving afternoon shade on windshield. (A big deal in a motorhome) Picnic tables have a roof over them. Lots of sand around, but that's to be expected when you are parked 75 feet from the beach. The water actually tastes good which is not too common when camped near the beach. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bimini seafood restaurant across from Kroger is a good alternative to pricey buffets which prevail in the area. Fried grouper plate for $12.95 is a good choice.

We camped here to attend a softball tournament in NMB which is often the case for us. Unfortunately, we didn't get to visit too many of the facilities as a result. My daughter did use the bathroom/shower facility nearest our site and it was in very good condition. The park is rather large and the sites are rather small. The park was full but relatively quiet. The hookups were all clean, well-maintained, and functioning properly. The campground as a whole was clean and well-maintained. They were not very flexible with late checkout or partial-day stays. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed for 7 nights and got one night free. We had a great campsite on the end of the row nearest the beach it had plenty of room for my 32Ft TT and TV to park. All sites also included a covered picnic table. The restrooms were clean and well taken care of. I would stay again. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving week and found this to be a nice park. Security is good, park is clean, and location is very good. Restroom and showers were good and there are as lot of them. Utilities worked well and wifi was acceptable although a little slow during peak times. Sites were close but we've had worse. Park is right on the ocean so walking on the beach was easy. We would stay here again. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

We had a wonderful end of row spot right by the beach. We were able to see the beach over the dunes while in our motorhome. We had great beach access nearby. The park itself is a bit of an RV ghetto. Over 800 sites. Mostly trailers or fifth wheels and the spaces are quite narrow. The end spot of a row by the beach offer a little more room. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

We got to squeeze in 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer! This campground was spotless, and the staff was really friendly. The amenities are really nice, even though we didn't use the pools because we spent our time on the beach. We absolutely plan on going here again. We also appreciated that the campground was nice and quiet at night, unlike some of the others we've stayed at. We're very pleased. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here for about a month and hated to leave. Utilities were very good, WiFi was spotty with many users, and Verizon was very good. Short walk to the ocean was the definite highlight. The office accommodated our request to be close to family that were also camping there. We parked sideways in front of our trailer. We would stay here again. Overall Rating:

The staff gave us a spot that was far too small for a long bed truck and 43' fifth wheel. I know the staff is aware that it takes an act of God to even attempt to get large equipment in sites 700-708 and 717-730 because the nearby campers said someone else tried to get into the same spot with no luck right before us and he left. Those campsites are maneuverable for much smaller rigs (under 35'). So spare your camper and truck and ask for a different area. When I told the office person of this she completely ignored my complaint. Didn't care a bit and said, "Well it suits up to 45'." That kind of attitude and lack of caring is very disappointing. During our visit the circuits blew a few times so we lost power during the 90+ degree afternoon - that means no AC. Imagine if we had been out and our dog had to stay in that heat until we returned. Not good. My final gripe is that it's a hugely crowded place where you're packed in like sardines. There is no privacy so if you get less than pleasant neighbors let's say with an incessantly barking dog or screaming kids, drunk adults, you will hear it. The upside is, if you don't mind the overcrowding, there is a lot for kids to do right on the property. Food, pool, beach access, arcade, and planned activities. Offsite food and entertainment is within close driving distance. In the end, I think this is a good place for certain families, particularly if you don't mind being on top of each other, but I personally would not return or recommend it to my friends. I'd recommended staying somewhere else if you do not like being on top of your neighbor. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our 2nd stay at MBTP, the first being about 10 years ago. Campground is well-maintained and staffed by friendly, courteous and efficient people. Sites for transient campers are close to each other but one needs to keep the popularity of this destination in mind. Bath facilities are extremely clean and in excellent condition. Pools and other amenities are excellent as well. We like the "cabanas" that are at each site as the constant ocean breeze usually precludes the use of your awning. Campground beach is very clean and spacious. We will definitely return. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

We made reservations months ago but do to breaking down hurricane Matthew we were late they would not honor the reservation for six month stay asked for an end unit was told they don't reserve a particular site. When we got here they didn't have handicapped sites so asked for end site we were told they were reserved! But you said during reservation you didn't reserve?... They put us in the middle and later moved us a little closer but next to a chain smoker gave up. Will stay the month then move to a park with customer service. It's like a swamp even the outdoor rug is under water. They should invest and fill the worn lots. The store is closed for the season. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

We made the reservation months in advance was not given the six month rate because of hurricane Matthew and breaking down. They should honor the six months so we'll stay just this month asked for a different site they had us next to a smoker ugh... The site we asked to be moved to was reserved yet when I called to make the reservation I was told they do reserve site So! Off to a bad start so we'll move to another park next month.
