Elliott's Landing is a small private campground with 48 site most were 50 amp service all with water and sewage. They are located on Lake Marion near Rimini SC part of the Santee Cooper Lakes System. It was established in 1945 when the Santee Cooper Lakes were flooded making it the oldest campground on the lakes. The sites are all full hook ups with plenty of space for my 33 foot fifth wheel and tow vehicle. The road into the campground is about 1 mile of gravel road with potential of plenty of dust and or a little messy if there is a heavy rain. The sites are level grassy pads with a sandy base some shady sites with most being limited shade. The roads in the campground are easy to maneuver for a big rig. The sites on the lake are pull in and back out the other sites are all pull thru. They have a 300 foot fishing dock, a boat launch, a general store and two bath houses. I watched my brother catching some large shell crackers and catfish off the bank at his camp site. During the spring and summer it is reported that the dock is a fishing hot spot with plenty of action. The Verizon Wireless reception was good with a solid 4G connection. Over the air TV reception was good I was able to pick up all the major networks and more. I stayed at Elliott's Landing March 2017 for several weeks. I found it to be a great place to stay. A lot of the sites were long term residents but only a few of them actually stayed in the campground the others showed up with their boats for the weekends to enjoy some fishing and relaxing time. The area is a little remote with the nearest shopping area a 20 mile drive to Manning. We camped at Elliotts Landing and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Park could have been nice but was in need of maintenance. Road, site, sewer/water connections and lawn in poor condition. Did not use bath facilities due to outside appearance. Camp store equipped with canned goods, basic necessities and bait, but was dirty and outdated. Several long term residents had excessive debris around their RVs. Insects and ants made going outside impossible. More of a fish camp-like atmosphere than RV park. Owners were nice and view of river lovely, but we would not stay there again. We camped at Elliotts Landing and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an "OK" RV park. It was a little hard to find, but once we found it, we were fine. Only had about 25% of campsites full. Park is run by a delightful couple. All sites appeared to have full hookups. Sites are on grass and with recent rains, there were several low lying areas that held water and made for a muddy trek. View of Lake Marion was gorgeous! We peeked in the shower/restrooms, and they are very outdated. No AC or fans to help move humid air. There is a pier that you can fish from. Once inside the park, the roads were dirt and sand, and had lots of ruts. Plenty of shade trees with Spanish moss. Campground itself could use some "cleaning up". The site we were in contained lots of cigarette butts and squash peelings. As non-smokers, we found this somewhat annoying. Of the other camping units in the park, most were older, and appeared to have been there for quite some time. Lots of areas contained goose poop so be care where you walk. Upon arrival, there was a sign posted on a tree stating "no big dogs". Website does not say anything about pets, so ask first. Campground also has a boat launch and small floating dock. Roads are difficult to negotiate as trees are not trimmed and hang over dirt roads in park. Park looks somewhat rundown; however, owners are very friendly and accommodating. If cleaned up some, and a few rules regarding campers cleaning up after themselves were put into place, this would be a really nice park, right on Lake Marion. It's very out of the way, so it would be nice if staying a few days or more, but for overnight, it's somewhat inconvenient. We camped at Elliotts Landing and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
