Strange experience and we won't stay again. When we arrived, the office was supposed to be open but was closed. Before someone came there was a traffic jam at the entrance. We made a reservation and confirmed it, but they said that we didn't have one. I think that we were the only people in the original park that weren't permanent. I didn't like that. It was just a weird experience that I don't want to repeat. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night on the way to Charleston. The sites are level and the staff friendly. The negatives are no WiFi and the dreaded little round toilet. One toilet for the entire park...unisex. It has a. handicap placard but no way it meets ADS guidelines. The camp should spend a few bucks to correct the deficiencies. Good for a one night stay only. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Motorhome.

We echo all the previous good comments about this park. Nice, quiet, only 1.6 miles east of I-77, easy in and out. Most spots are pull thru, all utilities worked great. No cable, but we were able to pick up many over the air stations because we were between Columbia and Charlotte, and the park seems to be located on the top of a hill. Sites are all gravel. Received a $5.00 veterans discount. Very little to do in Ridgeway, but driving around the town, many people waved at is as we drove by! So, if you need a great park for a stopover for a day or 2 this is an excellent choice. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We were in the adjoining park property next door to their original campground layout shown on their website. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Check in is at the office at the original campground (cash only), then you are escorted to choose between a variety of pull through sites. Very peaceful and rustic and separated nicely. Some of the sites offered had low branches which might have limited slides being used, and certainly some would not allow awnings to be put out. However.....very very peaceful, super quiet at night, and a great opportunity to do some star gazing in some areas. We'll be back when we're in the area. Some pull through sites are not completely level front to back. On some sites, you would have to place your rig in a specific location on the site to be level. This may require extension water hoses, sewer hoses, and electrical cords. Some sites and interior roads need a bit of tree trimming to clear taller units. Washrooms, laundry, etc. only available at main campground. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Easter weekend and our usual CG (Columbia SC) was booked so we found this park up the road. A few bucks more but a comfortable no traffic 2 miles from I-77. It is a family place and has seasonals but it was quiet through the night. The layout is configured to the terrain so you are not in rows. Rest room and shower (one of each, unisex) is for overnighters and was new and clean. Managers were very nice. Perhaps a bit pricey for an overnight but after interstate driving it was an oasis. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are no services at exit 32, I-77. Coming north from Columbia there is much available before the exit. The town of Ridgeway is a few miles east but we did not visit.

As promised in my previous review, we did return to Little Cedar Creek again this winter, and once again were well treated and offered the veterans discount. There isn't much I can add to my previous review, except to say this park seems to be a well kept secret, and I'm sure we'll be coming back again! We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Motorhome.

This was our first visit to this park, and we were very pleased at the cordial reception we received, and the offered veterans discount. Note that this park takes cash or checks only, no credit cards. The park is very clean and well maintained. the sites are a bit oddly laid out depending on which section you're in, but all are manageable as far as we could see. Our pull-thru site was convenient to the office, and situated well for an overnight stop as it gave us a nearly straight drive to the exit the next morning. The OTA TV stations from Charlotte come in clearly, and if needed, we could have used our satellite dish here. The park is nice midway stop for us on our way south in the winter, so I'm sure we'll be returning again. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Stayed 1 night on the way back home to GA, called while on I-77 about 2 hours from the campground and got the last available site. Pull-through site, water/sewer/elec. Managers extremely helpful and nice. Note this park only takes cash or check, no credit. Nice relatively short hiking trail goes past first campground pond, through the woods and comes out at a second pond in a small field.

Very clean, quiet campground, no Wi-Fi or cable; Verizon signal excellent. Most sites have long-term occupants. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Little Cedar Creek Campground is located on E. Peach Road, about 2-miles off of I-77 (Exit #32) in Ridgeway, SC. We have stayed at this campground twice, once for 2-nights in October 2015 and then again for 4-nights in May 2016. Check-in at both times was quick and efficient. The managers, Chris and Janelle, whom we met during our first stay, were very nice and friendly. On our second stay, we met the owner, a very nice fellow who was just as friendly. The campground, which is open year round, offers 42 RV sites and 5 cabins. All RV sites offer 30/50 AMP, sewer and water. They do accept big rigs and offer a few pull through sites as well. This campground only accepts cash, no credit cards, nor do they do not offer a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, or cable TV, but if you need a place to go for a short duration, or just to get off of the road for the night, this is a very nice/safe campground. The campground does have a laundry room and a shower room, a bit small, but extremely clean. There were quite a few full time residents here, but all of the units were very well kept and tidy. We stayed here in a 40' motor coach and will definitely return when in the area. Great getaway from everything! We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Motorhome.

This is a nice and neat overnight stop. Most of the spaces are long timers but all are neat and tidy and newer. Only about 1.5 miles off I-77. The only down sides are no cable and the space we had couldn't "see" the satellite. The staff was great, helpful and friendly. We will stay there again when we are returning from Florida. Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is way overpriced. They charge $40 for nothing and want it in cash. There is a pond at the bottom of a big hill (green water) that is for swimming! There is absolutely nothing there and the sites are small, the road's turns too tight to exit with a car in tow on a 32 foot motorhome. The only nice thing about this park is the person checking you in but she does not make up for the price of this park that offers nothing. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Easy access, just a mile or two from I-77. Just a 5 or 6 sites for transients with remainder occupied full-time. Friendly staff accepts cash only, no credit cards. No CATV but water, electric and sewer service worked well. Convenient for an overnight stop while you're in transit, not much to do out there in the woods. No stores at cg or nearby. Stayed one night heading north. They do take cash or check no credit cards. I had a nice level site. Very friendly staff willing to help. Clean restroom and shower.
