We have camped here many times over the past several years while visiting family in the area and also shopping, touring in the Charlotte NC area. Very nice county park and campground on Lake Wylie. No cable but there is good reception with conventional antenna. Most sites have a little slope so leveling is necessary. The location of the sewer hook up in a lot of sites is near the front of the site. You may need up to four sections of sewer hose to connect depending on the location of tank connections. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 3 weeksWe have stayed here before previously. Our favorite place in the Charlotte area. Sites are spacious, not too close together. Had full hookups for $31/night. We stayed in the wooded side, lots of shade. Not great for satellite tv, got enough to watch from local channels. There is Wi-Fi depending on how close you are to the transmitter. Pretty busy during the summer on the weekends being close to the lake. Middle of the week we pretty much had it to ourselves. Highly recommend this park. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a wonderful small County run park that has it all. Lake swimming, boating, wooded campsites and some that are not. Very helpful people on site. I changed my reservation twice and they really worked to accommodate my one night stay. We had a full hookup drive through site #31 that was wonderful. Really couldn't ask for more. My fifth wheel had a water issue and the Ranger shut the water off. Hadn't been back at the site 5 minutes before someone told me about it. Really helpful. Roads and sites in that park are all first rate. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are looking for a five star restaurant, try The Pump House. Great food, seating inside or outside overlooking the River. Three people about $110 without drinks.

We stayed in Loop 3 site 32, which was a super long FHU back-in site with lovely water views at the back of the site. Site was easy to back in and out of, and was one of the nicest sites in the campground. Sites 1-30 on the right-hand side of the campground are in a large open area with little to no trees, while the remainder of the sites on the left are more private and wooded. Campground is small with 69 campsites and a handful of pull through sites. They have a very nice ranger station with small store inside. The park rangers were helpful, and when we had an issue with the power pedestal, they didn't hesitate to fix it immediately. Rangers drive through the campground consistently. Bathhouse was large and spotlessly clean. They were upgrading the shoreline of the park, so it was blocked off while we were there (it should be completed in 6-8 weeks). The park also has a nice boat launch and swimming area, with plenty of parking in the day use area. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a very nice campground. We camped over a warm, fall weekend and the campground was full. Our initial site was 21, which is near the lake. It was a big, flat pull-through with a picnic table and fire ring. It was quite close to the neighbors on one side. It would've been great for a motor home because the lake is in front of the lot. Because we wanted to stay another night, and booked it late, we had to move to site 36 on Saturday. That site was also big and flat, and even though it was in the woods there was plenty of sunny space. The camp host was great about letting us know when we could get into our next site. There were lots of families here on the weekend, and it seemed like most of them come here often. The lake was just beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground in a county park. You have a choice of being in the woods or out in the open. There are very few trees in the open area but you have great views of the lake. Day use area shuts down at sundown and the gate is closed (with combo). We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Girls on check in had no idea which side hook up was for sites, and almost messed us up to send in wrong way. Pull, through sites are all horribly unlevel, except #21, which is in very congested area down below. Our site, #31 was extremely unlevel, and so close to the park road that the picnic table and fire ring was placed on the opposite side. Probably one of the worst sites in the park. Otherwise, if you know the park, and select your site carefully, this is a good park with all full hookups. Bath house very clean. Nice boat launch area. Price is going up as of next month. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Motorhome.

We are here now and find this to be a beautiful park. We have not encountered any unsavory characters as another camper stated. In fact, everyone seems very friendly. Most have nice RVs. Some sites are not level and we did need to change sites, which was handled courteously and quickly. Most of the sites are large and have shade. The sites closer to the lake are more open. We can't think of anything to complain about. The roads are gravel and the sites are gravel. Picnic tables, fire rings and full hook ups. We would definitely come back to this park. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here a few times. I travel to Charlotte periodically for business and bring the family to make a camping trip out of it. It's always been a fairly clean park but more recently it seems to be on a decline. It appears to have started to attract some sketchy people. When we first got there the fire pit was full of trash - bottles plastic containers etc. When we complained at the office they literally just shrugged their shoulders. The other bothersome thing is that a section of it seems to be a homeless tent city. I am not exaggerating, it's really obvious. I've camped a lot and know the difference between camping and homeless tent living groups. I won't look down on my nose at anyone who is homeless but drugs are another thing. On our last day there, several police were on sites examining these tent camps and actually taking several people away and clearing them out. Maybe it's hard to control I am not sure but it made us feel uncomfortable. It also seems to be a magnet for these types on the parking lot by the water during the weekend. All in all the last stay was enough for us to look elsewhere the next time. I have a kid and there are enough campgrounds around to avoid putting them in the middle of illegal activities in a tent city. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Motorhome.

Great campground for the 3 day weekend we were there, on a beautiful lakefront county park. Site was gravel, fairly level, plenty of shade on the sites on the opposite of the road from the water - a consideration in the summer. Full hookups. We were on spot 71 across from the bath house park and the WiFi was very strong. It is very clean, well run, very friendly staff. Very convenient to Charlotte. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Really nice campground near Rock Hill and Ft Mill. Our site had a great view of the water, overlooking the picnic pavilion, play areas, boat docks, etc., but from a far distance. There was 1 tree. Other sites had a few more trees, and the other side was heavily wooded. Sites 23 and 25 are the best, as they view the lake nicely. All are spacious. All in all, a great location! It's a bit of a drive to civilization, but you're so close to Ft Mill and Rock Hill. The new Rock Hill development, Riverwalk, will have tons of restaurants, etc. Ft Mill's Baxter Village is fun place to peruse, too.

Camped at this York County Park, on the shores of Lake Wylie near Rock Hill, SC in late February. The Sites were well spaced, and very well priced with full hookup (water, electric, sewage) and even internet. Park Ranger was able to accommodate a move to a new site when 30+mph winds worked against us. Staff was friendly, efficient and professional. The restrooms were clean and heated and convenient trash bins with small solar night light and daily pickup completed the picture. Run like a good private campground but with the open space, boat dock and launch of a public park. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Travel Trailer.
