Entry into the campground is not very wide and has steep short hills. The interior roads are not very wide but we were able to navigate without issue. Our site was a back in and we had plenty of room to maneuver. The staff here is second to none. The park itself is well set up and has about anything you could want. We were there for one Saturday and there were kids laughing and having fun everywhere. It was nice. At night they had a movie in their pavilion. Very family oriented. We would stay there again if we could get the same site we had but with a few exceptions we didn't consider it a big rig friendly park. The wifi worked for us and we had good Verizon signal. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the nicest commercial parks we have visited. This was our fourth stay. The owners of the park are just super people and the entire operation is top notch. Very nice setting with a fishing lake and close to groceries and such. We are experienced long time RVers. Will return again for sure. Love this campground! We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We have been stopping here for the past five years as we travel from Illinois to the Georgia coast. Owners very helpful and friendly, campground is well maintained. Restrooms very nice, although have never used the showers. Also never used the laundromat so can not speak to that. Utility hookups properly located, sites fairly level but we always have to use a block or two to get the RV fridge level enough. Some sites well shaded some not. Hiking trail in woods we want to try some day, park is back in the woods away from traffic. The park and been recently taken over by the present owners when we first started to come here 5 years ago. They take pride in the park and are always improving it which is one reason we keep coming back. There are lots of long term residents but everyones site is well maintained and folks are friendly and it is quiet at night. Entrance road is a little bumpy and hilly and not up to the quality of the park itself but not a problem to navigate. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Site was paved. There is an outdoor light post in front of each space. The road going into the CG was a bit steep but ok. Could have easily missed the entrance. Look for it, as it appears to be only a driveway. There is a pond with ducks. Being a smaller CG the walk around was short. Leaves left on the ground gave it an unkept look. Several seasonals. There is a pool. The dog park is adequate and had a secure fence especially the bottom part was installed correctly. Owners are terrific and personable. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Road leading into the camp is very hilly and winding. A little scary with a 38' trailer, but navigatable. We had a pull through gravel site that was fairly level. Wi-Fi worked well, no cable available. I wouldn't consider this a destination campground, but suitable for overnight stays. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a mountain camp and would be nice for a vacation mountain stay. We were there only overnight. There are pull-thru's and back-ins with full hook-ups with grass or natural woods in between. Ours was a fairly level cement pull-thru; others were gravel. Picnic table and fire ring. Pool. Good wifi! No cable; some TV stations via antenna. Catch & release pond. Road to get to camp is a bit scary for a big rig - a large up/down area and internal roads were not designed for big rigs but the owner keeps trees well trimmed to lessen any risk. Only one vehicle can go in/out or around at a time. There were other big rigs there when we were there. The owners are wonderful and lead you to your spot. They have a fun rec room. We would stay here again. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

What a gem! Nice long big rig sites with concrete pads, good 50 amps, well placed utilities, very clean and quiet. Lots of green open space along with a pond that has ducks and swans. Walking trail in the woods. Personnel were fantastic. I am alone and there was no problem with them helping me back into a level site. Pull thrus also available. Follow their directions to get here from I-26 and it is easy and quick. Definitely a place to return. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stopped here for an overnight on our way to Ohio, this is our second stay here. It is off exit 28 of I26. The staff is friendly, the campground is clean and quiet. The water, sewer and 50 amp (117-121 vac) worked well, all connections are in the back of the site. My only problem was the site (#30), a pull-thru was not very level. It was low in the front and to the patio side. So low that I had to us 2x6 blocks under jacks on DS. to get side to side level. Front was too low in front to get level with out pulling the front wheels off ground. Since I couldn't level I did not put our bad slide out. I requested a pull-thru so I didn't have to disconnect the Toad, but with the Toad attached you are limited in adjusting the coach in the site to find a spot a bit more level. Site was Satellite friendly. Last time we stayed here we were put in site 31 and was able to level. We will continue to use Pine Mountain whenever we travel thru this area. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The owners bought this park four years ago and are diligent about keeping it up and providing lots of attention and services for guests. The sites each have a picnic table and fire ring. The sites are a bit close together with Class A and Class C units intermingled. But the park is very peaceful and quiet. There were some snowbirds and other long term residents. Recreation for kids includes a pool, play area, blow-up bounce pad (supervised by the owners) and a small fishing pond. The laundry room was clean and well-equipped with four washers and four dryers ($1.50 each). The restrooms were also very clean. The women's room had four toilet stalls and two shower stalls. Water in the showers was warm enough but I couldn't get it hot. The shower stall configuration is rather odd in that the individual shower/dressing room areas are next to each other so it would be necessary to walk through the dressing area of the neighboring shower in order to exit the bathroom. If someone were using that shower/dressing area you would be obliged to wait until they were finished before you could exit. We found this again on our trip in a state park in Georgia. Beyond that quirky situation, we loved this park and the owners! We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Convenient stopover park from I-26 (about 2.5 miles). A good bit farther from I-85 (about 15 miles). Older section is treed with some sites not so level. Newer section has pull throughs and back ins with nice level concrete pads and open to the satellites. Utilities worked well and were in the right place. Adequate WIFI with our signal amplifier. Stayed here for a overnight stop....staff was very helpful, guided us to our site #33 a pull thru and we didn't have to disconnect the toad...utilities all worked ok, had 50 amp service, water and sewer....site was level and long enough for 36' mh with toad...didn't use bathhouse so I cannot comment on them...not alot of shade and the exit road could be tight if it was a full campground but it's manageable...would stay here again if visiting or passing thru the area.... My husband and I just purchased our first travel trailer and visited Pine Ridge on our very first trip. The owners were super friendly and helpful!

Grounds were beautiful: our dogs had a blast and my husband enjoyed fishing daily. The site we were on was fairly close to neighboring units but the space was not unreasonable. The little decks at each site were cool!

I have already recommended Pine Ridge to family members, and we will definitely be back! We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Travel Trailer.
