1 Park near Walterboro, South Carolina
Apr 2016 - $25.00
We stayed two nights on our way up North. This is a good park for snowbirds who need a night's rest and don't want to go to Walmart.
It is all large pull throughs. Sites are all grassy and spacious. Some have sewer hook up, and some don't. There is a pool, but there is no water in it, haha (supposedly its being repaired). There are a couple of showers, but they definitely have seen better days. Worth mention is a very nicely equiped dog run. All in all, not bad to spend a night or two. - dswiss

Really convenient to I-95, but unfortunately, really loud traffic noise from highway. Lots of trees, dirt pull-through, quick and efficient check-in. Would recommend for a traveler overnight stay. - Doug Washburn

Rate is for 30 amp electric & water site, with AAA discount. Very convenient to I-95. That's both good & bad. You come off the exit, and very shortly the road to the campground loops you back toward the Interstate - you can see I-95 from some campsites near the near the office. The hum of road traffic is audible throughout the campground while outside, not that much in the motorhome. The interior roads are dirt, and the sites (all pull-thrus) are level and very long (over 100 feet); not real wide, but big rigs won't have a problem extending their slideouts. Sites are nicely shaded by lots of tall pines. The bathrooms/showers are quite dated, but reasonably clean with plenty of hot water and good pressure, although the showers are somewhat cramped. Couldn't connect to the free wifi in 10 attempts between 4:00 PM & midnight. My cell phone hotspot via AT&T worked OK. Picnic tables, but most sites didn't have fire rings. Pretty good price for a convenient overnight stop (50 amp and/or full hookup sites with cable TV are a bit higher). - NoVa RT
