We stayed here for 9 days in order to see all the area attractions. Our pull-thru FHU site was quite large with plenty of room for our 32' MH, tow dolly and toad. Our site was at least 42' wide. Electric, water and sewer worked flawlessly as well as great wifi and over the air TV reception. They do have cable available. I saw no evidence of dust from the road, but I drove it at 10 mph. There are train tracks near by, but the train only runs twice a day at 10-11am and 4-5pm. You will hear some road noise from Rt. 90, but I didn't notice it while sleeping. No pool etc., but we came for the local attractions. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

Approx. 5 miles west of Rapid City on I-90. My ideal kind of RV park.....long (42' 5th wheel and truck, disconnected and still room to spare.....80'?), wide spaces, good electric, water and sewer dump, picnic table, grass and fairly level. Easy in and easy out navigation. Others have complained about the .4 mile of dirt/gravel road being dusty. The posted speed limit is 20 miles however, having gone in and out a number of times, I've found that 10-15 mph there isn't any dust. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Diesel fuel, Camping World just across the freeway.

Black Hills.....too much to see and do in a week! Pick up the Black Hills map available in the RV Park office or just about any store or gas station in the Black Hills area. Be sure to ride your motorcycle (or drive) through the Needles Hwy. I rode my bike and drove my 1 ton dually.

Good value for FHUs , good elect, sewer and wifi. water pressure a little low and we could not get cable with the cable box that they provided but we could get broadcast tv. The site was a nice pull-through with room for40' MH & our toad plus. The park is very close to the interstate with a train track in between so there is more noise from both than I remembered from my last visit here. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good central location between Rapid City , Sturgis, Deadwood, Lead and Custer SP. We traveled by car through Spearfish Canyon, and the other towns I named. 6 Miles from Rapid City where I volunteered with Habit for Humanity .

Other than the long dusty gravel road into the park it was great. WiFi tested at an amazing 30 megs. Don't rely on the GPS to find the park. Call for easy directions. Our Google map program led us astray down a dirt road luckily to a business with a large enough parking lot to turn around. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here a few times over the past 10 years and every year the water pressure gets worse. We had to turn on our water pump this year every time we took a shower to get enough pressure. The laundry is $2.25 to wash and $2.25 to dry and is fine if you want to pay $9 for two loads of laundry. The nice lady that owns and runs the place by herself seems to be in way over her head. We will probably look for someplace else if we come to this area again. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Since we were not going to be spending any tourist time in the Black Hill on this return home leg of our trip, we decided to stop at this basic and cheap park for our one night in the area. See my August 20115 and 2016 reviews for more detailed reviews of this park. We were again able to get a FHU, pull through site with minimal cable TV at the PPA rate. Most most sites are satellite TV friendly. With only about 15 RVs in the park, the Wi-Fi was fine. The bathrooms were clean but I can't see them being adequate in a full park with lots of tents and non-sewer sites and tents. With newer machines, the laundry was a bit expensive. There are some recycling bins. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are no recreational facilities. The park is a little bit off the interstate exit but right next to I-90. It is all by itself and there is nothing within walking distance. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is the third time we have stayed here. Excellent location, 50 amp, wifi was good, sewer kind of far back, not quite level, but not bad. Sites were very long. Washers and dryers both $2.25 per load. The only thing we didn't like was the mile long gravel driveway to get to the park. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. It's very convenient to Rapid city and also to the Sturgis bike rally. Nice owners. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here to be close to the many attractions in this area. Found the park in the Passport America book so had never seen it. Park is very close to 90 so lots of highway noise, on top of that a railroad borders the park so you have trains too. Our site though was plenty wide enough and we had full hookups. They also offer cable TV but we didn't use it, have our own dish. Only 30 amp service available on our site but that was OK, we didn't run the AC at all, nice weather! We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is located right next to I-90 and railroad tracks, so it is not quiet. There are very few (maybe 4 or 5) full hook-up sites with 50 amp electric. Sites are plenty long enough though not very wide. Restrooms appeared to be very clean, though dated; same with the laundromat. Interior roads were quite rough. Poor wi-fi. Fortunately, Passport America rate was honored for our entire stay. I would never pay over $40.00 a night for a space here. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Located 1/2 mile down a good gravel road about a mile off of I-90. All RV sites are long, level dirt with some gravel. Sites offered are 30 or 50 amp with electric or full hookups. Electric went down to 105 volts one night briefly at 5:00 but otherwise was acceptable. It was very hot while we were there and everyone was running their air conditioners. Passport America rates given for entire stay of four nights. Highway noise from interstate which runs directly in front of campground but little noise at night. Train tracks directly in front of RV sites but train only runs twice a day-11 am and 4 pm. Very nice, helpful owners. Some permanent residents but majority of campers stay just a few nights. Tent spaces on the far side of campground. They have a separate area where you can park long cargo trailers. Would stay again. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very well kept park and the owner and manager are fantastic people. Day we arrived we found our residential fridge had quit working and they offered storage space in a freezer for some of our items. They worked with us and are so nice. On the 4th they had a feast for all the guests here, what a cookout it was. For sure a place to come back to. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. There are only five 50 amp sites but if it's not hot, 30 amp is more than adequate. The park is wide open and the roads are easily navigable. The utilities are easily accessed. The water pressure is low, but adequate. The wifi is very good. There is a half mile gravel road into the park but it is in good shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall Rating:

This is a clean and well-maintained park right next to I-90 just north of Rapid City. No amenities for kids, just a great overnight stay (or home base when visiting Black Hills, Sturgis, Badlands). Sites are mostly level for the FHUs (#s under 40) and mostly Pull-thrus except first row (1-12). Utilities are good, Wifi average, CATV has 4 channels. The gravel access road is OK, with 1 hill and turn to get around, so take it slow if you are big-rig. The sites over 40 are W/E and are up an increasingly steep slope where front-to-back leveling will be considerable. I did not see any occupied there, presume they are used more for summer tent campers or Sturgis rally week. The possible issue may be the camp its location right next to the Interstate, as there is considerable road noise. We found it passable, with windows closed, due to the droning effect. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The access road is dirt/gravel and pretty bumpy (especially the first 100 yards) with a couple potholes that are avoidable. Interior roads and site pads were better condition dirt/gravel. Our site was about 3" out of level with good spacing, room for our truck in front or behind the camper, and utilities placed at the side. They had a grassy area with an old small picnic table (big enough for 4). Some sites had larger tables.

Laundry room was clean ($2.25/load, wash or dry). Owners are nice, friendly and very responsive. They have a recycle container for plastic and aluminum. Noise is medium and constant since we were about 200 yards from I-90. Oddly enough, we both slept well all 7 nights (maybe because it was like white noise). WiFi coverage was great and we had good (3/5 bars) Verizon cell signal. Our site had cable TV available and owner offered us a cable box for additional channels, but we were here for the sights and haven't watched TV for about 3 weeks. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
