This park really needs someone to take control and be a manager. Very young teens doing the check in, and they didn't get much direction before hand. Our check in took an extraordinary amount of time as they couldn't get the computer system to work. We were told it was a "new system". The park is in dire need of upgrading and upkeep. The sites are mostly dirt and thus very dusty. The lawns and bushes could use a good trimming. And many of the features that are intended for children looked a bit beat up and in need of service. We wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.

We camped here to provide some fun for the kids. Nice pool, mini-golf and jumping pillow. The park is very nice and clean with large sites. Staff were friendly, but seemed to be run by teenagers - some of whom just sat around and could have been attending to the things such as the maintenance of the mini-golf course. A bit expensive. We would stay here again. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Fifth Wheel.

Old RV Park with gravel roads and gravel pads. It is near an Interstate highway, so expect some highway noise. It has large established trees and fire rings. The fire rings are extremely close to the RV and could pose a serious safety hazard if there were a camp fire. This park has recently implemented a policy whereby the customers are supposed to wear wrist bands--very bad policy which should be abandoned immediately. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Near a city of approimately 180,000 people. Plenty of things to see and do, including the 4th largest zoo in the US. Navigating the park is tricky if you leave and return in the two vehicle.

This was our first stay at a Jellystone Park and if they are all like this it will be our last. We actually have very little good to say. What makes this painful is the campground actually has a lot of potential. Upon arrival we immediately felt uneasy as there are no signs indicating where to park. The resulted in a mish-mash of arriving RV's, departing traffic, golf carts and bicycles and pedestrians going in all directions. The staff was curt and somewhat surly - not at all the welcome we expected. The concrete Yogi standing outside was more friendly. They did escort us to our site and the young man was very helpful and pleasant. The campground is right on the interstate - convenient but very noisy. The sites are closer than close to one another. Keep those blinds down unless you wish to have onlookers. If they would invest in some gravel to level the sites and pave the roads that would be a huge improvement. The entire property was horribly dusty and within hours our whole rig was covered with a coating of red grime. The power pedestals, water connections and sewer connections all felt over-used and worn out. Upon departure we thought we were on a one way street when indeed it was at one time two-way. The unpruned trees have been allowed to become so overgrown that they have consumed an entire lane. The overall demeanor and appearance of this park gave us the sense that the place is being bled dry and that no one any longer cares. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Excellent amenities for families. Nice dog park. Level sites of adequate width. Need a few more receptacles for trash as dumpsters were at end of very long rows. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.

Easy off easy on I-90. We are just 2 seniors staying here because of the close proximity to friends off of I-229. I wish there would be a cheaper rate for 2 adults who are not going to use any of the facilities. Very efficient check in. I always love being escorted to our site. Great park, completely full on a Friday night with lots of families. We got in early, around noon, were able to set up the trailer and hit the pool before it got too crowded. Seems like there were people checking in every five minutes afterwards. Lots of activities for the kiddos and a friendly staff to run it. Really liked the location right off I-90 and just a few minutes from downtown and the world famous Falls Park. Sites were good size with easy hookups. We could have left tow vehicle attached if we wanted. Overall, good campground and would stay here again. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Must check out Falls Park and then grab dinner downtown. We hit up Phil's Diner, it was so worth it. The food and service were excellent. Walk off dinner by doing the sculpture walk. We loved Sioux Falls and wish we had more than half a day to check it out. We will try to spend an extra day here again if we get a chance.

We stayed here for a couple days while on our way to Hill City and the Mt Rushmore area. The staff was very nice (young kids) and very accommodating even though we had no reservations. The sites were decent size and grassy, it was very comfortable. Theres a lot of activities for the kids, the play grounds and jump were awesome. They even had a dog run which was big and clean, my dog loved the run everyday. There is more pros than cons, but the only negative are (not major) you are right off the highway so there is highway noise, and the one bath house is immaculate while the other needs updating. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone due to the ease off the highway, proximity to Sioux falls, and the really nice staff. The office is closed for the season but the park was open for overnighters. There is an after hours box for registration. Used the laundry rooms and bathrooms. Both very nice. Large pull through sites with plenty of room. I am sure this is a busy place in the summer. Very kid oriented with the Yogi bear theme. Traffic noise wasn't a problem but might be if we needed our windows open. Would stay again. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.

The site was level. Hook ups were conveniently placed. There is cable & Satellite & over the air signals were easy to get at our site. There are two laundries; both are clean & reasonably priced. There is a pool, putt putt golf & playgrounds for the kids. It is definitely a kid's park. There is quite a bit of noise from the interstate which is right next to the campground. The roads & sites are dirt & gravel. I would hate to see it when it rains. You are escorted to your sight by a teenager. The speed limit within the park is 5 miles an hour. Your escort will ignore that going at least 20. They don't seem to know too much about RV's. Our escort led us to the wrong row & wanted us to back up. He was very confused when we explained that was not possible with our tow car attached. The park is conveniently located to shopping & restaurants. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.

Very poor hospitality in office. Lots of kids working there and visiting with each other. Hard to get waited on and the girl who waited on me was snippy when I asked her if she would ring up my sale. We reminded them daily that the flag should be half-staff because of the Marines killed in TN. I'm sure someone will have to "remind" them tomorrow. They mowed and moved our belongings to another site where they stayed from 10 am to 8 p.m. They just don't understand customer service. We'll go back to Tower next trip. Tips for other Campers:

Give Tower another chance. I hear they have new managers. This is likely fun for people with kids or those just staying over 1 night. But it's not real convenient to Sioux Falls. The flag issue really turned me off. I can deal with snippy teenagers being in charge but not people who don't honor fallen marines.

We stopped overnight and were greeted by two very nice young folks. They took their time to escort us to our campsite and make sure we were able to hook up and get settled. These Jellystone RV parks are made for young families with children. There were activities, a beautiful pool and splash pad. Bouncy pad, putt putt golf, peddle cars. Sooo much for kids and families to enjoy. The laundry room was very clean and the little store well stocked. Thanks for the great stay! This park is very well maintained, with very good services at the site. It rained a bit while we were there, so some sites were muddy. Many children, barking dogs and noisy campers, common with Jellystone's we've stayed at. The pool and spa looked good and were quite busy while we were there. As most "franchise" campgrounds, add-ons and store items were over priced. Highway noise is evident as was the occasional train. We called ahead about a site and were told "they had plenty". When I asked if we could come in early, I was told "sure no problem". There was no problem as long as I paid $3/hour before 2PM check in. $52 reflects 10% Good Sam discount and added $6 early arrival charge. If you have roof top satellites on your RV, be aware that there are strategically placed trees at the front of most sites that preclude satellite reception. I was really surprised they didn't charge for the cable due to the tree placement. BTW, don't bother to leave firewood for the next camper, as the staff come around and pick it up after you leave, probably to repackage for the next camper wanting a campfire. We do not plan to return at this time,. feeling it was not a good value for us. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.
