This campground is a hidden gem! We moved to this one, since our first one is Custer could only give us 3 nights over the July 4 holiday, and we were so glad we moved! It is small and secluded and is run by a lovely, friendly couple. The campsites are gravel with lush grass all around. We could watch the deer gather in the field below every evening, and some of them wandered through the campground. The bathhouses are immaculate. The Wi-Fi is typical "campground speed", but I had a great Verizon signal for data. There are several nice cabins for rent here, too. We camped at The Roost Resort in a Motorhome.
Gorgeous location, grounds. Great staff. Level sites. Quiet. Close to Custer but not too close. Not for BIG rigs. Would rate it higher than a 10 if possible. 5 Star+! We camped at The Roost Resort in a Motorhome.
Small RV park with rustic cabins on site, away from the RV sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a pull through spot for our 33 footer overlooking a grassy meadow complete with deer and antelope in the evenings. Grass site with easy access in and out. We spent an extra day here just enjoying the surrounding mountains and wild life. Would stay here again. We camped at The Roost Resort in a Motorhome.
