The RV park consists of about 25 back-in spaces on a black top parking lot. 30 amp electric and cable. There is a common dump with potable water. That's all there is - nothing fancy about the sites. It's all blacktop and the heat absolutely radiates in the summer. The spaces are level and wide enough and/or deep enough for most rigs and their toads. The cable is working this year, which is nice. You register at the hotel, they give you a key to the utility box for a $5 deposit. The restrooms and showers referred to are inside the hotel - in the pool area. You may use the pool and showers if you are registered in the RV park. You have to ask, though as they often forget to mention it. Reason for the high rating is the sheer value of this. Tips for other Campers:
Try Mad Mary's Steakhouse just down the road in Flandreau.
This is an RV camping area for the Royal River Casino. You can't beat the price. We have stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years. My only complaint is there is no shade. The RV area is paved so you are level. The spaces are very wide and can accommodate large bus rigs with slides and still have room. The swimming pool, showers, and bathrooms are available and are included in the price to use in the hotel which is connected to the casino. There is a dump/water station in the RV area. The wireless Internet worked well and you get a lot of channels with their cable TV. There is security that comes around all hours to check on the RV area so you feel secure and don't need to worry about leaving your RV for any length of time. The casino has a restaurant and snack bar. They have added a lot of new machines in the casino. We will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Royal River Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
