Basic park sitting above Lake Oahe (Missouri River). Off the beaten track and caters to fishermen and hunters (in season). We ate at the restaurant and it was expensive and the food just OK. But, it's the only restaurant around for miles. Restrooms and laundry were spic and span! We used both. We stopped here to kill time before going to western South Dakota so the Sturgis rally would get done. We went exploring all over the area and really enjoyed ourselves. West Whitlock Recreation Area was really nice. We camped at Bob's Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Lovely views of the Missouri River. Nice restaurant on site. Would be nice to have cable TV, but the owners are doing a lot to make this a real nice park. We were not there during prime fishing days, but we had a great overnight. We camped at Bob's Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice, no frills park. We stopped overnight. Not much to do around here unless you fish or hunt. Still we enjoyed the stop and we did have a great steak dinner at the resort's steakhouse. Ask for a seat with a view. We camped at Bob's Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice park to stay overnight - it basically is a fisherman camp for those fishing the Missouri River. It needs to improve its shower and bathroom facilities - obviously, typical hangout for fisherman who do not appreciate clean shower and bathroom facilities. No separate dressing room in shower area. They do have a great steakhouse for eating with reasonably priced meals. Would stay again but not for a long period of time. No Wi-Fi which makes it a poor place to keep up to date. This plain vanilla campground on a high bluff has a great view of the Missouri River, just under a mile distant. It has a basic metal building that houses the laundry and bathrooms and generously wide, grass encircled, gravel RV sites. The grounds are well maintained, although the lawns could use a little fertilizer. The water pressure is excellent but the Wi-Fi did not make it out to the campsites. Verizon 3G signal was good. Office staff was a little reserved. At under $22 a night, it is an excellent value. We would stay here again. We camped at Bob's Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
