The park is part of a truck stop, motel and RV park complex. The sites are unusual in that all sites are pull through, parallel parking to an open space. It is nice in that you do not have another camper right outside your door, but then all traffic is right along side the left side of your unit. This park is very convenient to I-29, easy on-off, but there is highway noise. Most sites are long term campers. Wifi was OK. Verizon good. For overnight this was OK. Getting fuel was easy and the price was good. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

This campground is right next to I29. To check into campground, you go to the convenience store/gas station. It is a busy area but we slept ok. We stayed one night so it satisfied our needs. There are 38 sites & ours was full hookup. There was a cement slab with a picnic table & the lawn area was well groomed. It appeared to have a few seasonal campers and it appeared that road workers had a campers there. We called to reserve a site about 6 hours before we arrived. They were full by the time we arrived. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This park is attached to a truck stop and convenience store about 15 miles to the south of Sioux Falls. It is $10/15 less than parks in Sioux Falls and is a good value if you are only passing through. The park is nice, showers are adequate and a good laundry. All sites have lawn and trees that are fairly small but growing so shade is improving each year. Highway noise is significant, especially if you sit outside. It isn't a place I'd suggest for an extended stay but makes for a pleasant one night stop from traveling. There is a store and restaurant but no pool or other amenities. Highway access is excellent and fuel is priced below most in the area. Most sites are occupied by monthly RVs so a reservation is advised. I would stay here again. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

This park is located behind Cenex Truck stop. You go into the truckstop/convenience store to check in. I made a reservation so she was expecting me. All sites are3 gravel pull-thru BUT they are parallel to the road. That can be tricky if you are big. There are a lot of permanent people here with big trucks. All the campers are situated so that their doors open into a common grassy area. It is very well kept. It is right on the highway, but we didn't really notice the road noise. the interior roads can be hard to navigate due to all the big trucks. Just go slow. We would stay here again. The previous review pretty much says it all. We didn't have a reservation, but there was one spot available. Check in at convenience store was easy and very close by, you can get a bite to eat as well. Great for a one night stay. It is close to I29, ext 62, but the noise wasn't bad. Had stayed in other parks that were a lot noisier. The park is currently full of workers, so space is limited. But nice and convenient for us. We have a 40 ft motorhome towin .... makes is abt 60 ft long, no problem getting around in the park. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Just an overnight for us. Convenient on/off from I-29. Check-in was easy at the convenience store. You may have to wait in line behind people buying gas or beer, but the clerk was familiar with the RV park check-in. An older review stated "we picked a site and setup before going to the convenience store to pay. Evidently they do take reservations". This is no longer true. They were full when we stayed. We had a reservation and an assigned spot. They say all sites are pull-through. They are, but not the typical pull-through type. Here, you pull through a semi-circle to park parallel to the road. That semi-circle has electrical connections on one side and a concrete patio with picnic table on the other. You may need to move the picnic table so that you can drive on

the concrete patio if you have a big rig. If you have a long motorhome with toad, I recommend disconnecting the toad at the convenience store before entering the RV Park. People park hanging out in the street making things a little tight. You may need to maneuver back and forth (like parallel parking) to get situated. Very close to I-29 with road noise. Many young trees planted around the park, but none mature enough to provide shade. Concrete patio with picnic table. Looks like

there are many semi-permanent residents. Wi-Fi was good. Being able to refuel at the convenience, with truck lanes, was great. There was a smell, stench really, outside. Google maps shows "Sioux Falls Regional Livestock" next door. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Very convenient location right on the exit 62 of I-29, so there are some highway noise, the Wi-Fi speed is great, this is a good campsite to stay one or two nights. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

There's not much I can say about this campground because we only did a quick overnight here. In fact, we didn't even hook up to their sewer system. I can report, however, that it is very convenient to I-29 and the Wi-Fi works well. Also, since the park backs up to a truck stop, re-fueling your RV upon arrival or departure is, in my view, a significant plus. And I like the fact that you can just drive in and park on whatever available site you choose, but the other side of that coin is a lack of staff help should you require it. Another possible "con" is that there aren't many sites capable of supporting a big rig pulling a toad. So if that's your situation, you need to get there when the park isn't crowded or you may not find an adequate parking spot. Bottom line: as other reviewers have noted, this is a most satisfactory campground for an overnight stay. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

This is a good place to stop if you are looking for a quick on and off of I-29. It is located behind a gas station which had easy access for refueling. No shade, and no ambiance, but a safe harbor from the high winds in this area. Loud road sounds from the interstate. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in our 40' 4 slide motorhome with tow vehicle. Full hookups, 50 amp, Good WI-FI, satellite and Verizon works well. Nothing here but convenience store/gas station. Fifteen miles to Sioux Falls where shopping is located. Sites are pea gravel/dirt with concrete patio and table. Grass is well maintained and beautiful. Lots of room between sites as they are laid out in a curve along the road/grass. Road noise. We would stay here again. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

The nightly rate is $25 + tax. This campground is easy to find, easy to access, and less expensive than any in Sioux Falls. We didn’t disconnect our tow and were able to squeeze both vehicles in the site. The roads and sites are gravel. We always seem to have to use some boards to get a nice level. Utilities worked just fine. There is some road noise but it is not bad. As before, we picked a site and setup before going to the convenience store to pay. Evidently they do take reservations but don’t always tag the site accordingly. Sprint and Verizon worked well. It is an OK place for an overnight or a short stay. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Stayed overnight here since all near by campgrounds were full. Right off the highway, easy check-in, and sites are easy to find. Besides the highway noise, it is very quiet here. There is a swing set and slide in the middle for kids to play on. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Stopped for an overnight stay. Easy check-in and sites easy to find. Restrooms were clean and laundry was fair (old machines but worked well). Very easy off and on interstate. Some truck noise but not bad unless they used Jake Brake. We have stayed before and will use again. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

This campground is easy to find, easy to access, and less expensive than any in Sioux Falls. We stayed here several times during the summer and always found things in good shape. The sites are generous and all seem to have 50amp service with water and sewer. Just find your site and then go up to the gas station to check in. This is strictly a convenient overnight stop, not a place you'd want to stay for any length of time (though there seems to be a number of semi-permanent residents). It is a good place to stop if you've just made a long run from the east before shooting across SD to get to the Black Hills area. Its right beside the main highway, has a decent convenience store/truck stop and the sites are all level gravel. There really isn't a pet area but there is enough grass on the fringes for dog business. Restrooms and showers were okay and their WiFi worked well. Their mini-restaurant serves some good trucker chow. I'd stay here again as an overnighter. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.
