We stopped here on our way to The Badlands via I90. We wanted to check out Mitchell anyways so it was a convenient stop. The gal in the office was friendly and helpful. The pull thru spots were long enough for our 31ft class A and our Jeep Wrangler tow. The showers were very clean. We would definitely stay here again and we wish that all overnight stops were as easy and nice as this one! We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

50 amp service, good wifi, free cable tv with a box, sewer and good after pressure. Plenty of trees and not too unlevel. Good gravel interior roads. The only bad thing is the roads are Town up on Burr street making it a little difficult to find. Near I-90 but the road noise wasn't too bad. There is a pool behind the motel that the rv park can use, but we didn't...it's not heated. We would stay here again...very convenient except for the road construction. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a lot of road construction in front of the campground and without good directions from the staff when I booked it, we would have had a difficult time finding it. It really is behind the Super 8 Motel. Quiet, helpful staff. Wifi adequate, need cable box to use cable, but it is provided at no charge. Very close to many resturants, some that you can walk to and others were a short drive. We only stayed one night on our way home from South Dakota, although the park was almost full when we got there and when we left others were checking in. Pool is shared with the motel. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice little RV park behind the Super 8 Motel. As of this writing there is construction. Call ahead for directions off the interstate. The RV park is to the left and behind the Super 8. The camp is close to interstate, but found it quiet. Sites level. FHU's well place and good condition. Most site treed. Used carry out dish for sat. Park has cable, but may need to get a box from the office. (did not use) Good Verizon. T-Mobile 3-g. Wifi was usable with full park, but we were near the office. Nice park personnel (camp hosts). Sites gravel, level with grass in between. You can use the Super 8 motel pool. Small playground. Some grass for Rover. Interior road easy. Very nice place near the freeway for an overnight stop. Gas station for gassers across the street from RV park. Not a fancy park but well kept and a good value for a night or two. Site was long enough for 36' towing. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We actually stayed here for a few nights to take a little break from traveling. We paid at the PA rate for one night, then the military rate for the remaining nights. For the cost, it was a great value. The pool is nice, great temperature. The bathrooms were clean but small. The showers are small, but serviceable. The playground equipment is fun and secure. The manager and staff are nice and accommodating. The grass wasn't all green and lush, but it wasn't bad. Most of the sites were gravel and appeared to be level. We were on a concrete pad and it was a great site. Even though the park is right next to the freeway, the sound did not disturb our sleep. The cable worked great - you have to get a cable box from the office. I saw a few motorhomes and trailers that used satellite instead of the cable and they said it worked fine. We camped there in a motorhome. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This RV Park was perfect for us. The roads and spaces are gravel but no dust, and the space was level. Size is large with grass areas between each site Shade trees are trimmed high so they did not touch my coach. The trees are also properly placed so that we received excellent satellite reception. Host is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is temporary as the State is doing road construction in front of the entrance. the entrance from the road is navigable even for this newbee driving a 40 ft MH. I don't rate all of the amenities because we do not use them. We are interested only in a safe quiet place to park. This fits our needs. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy in easy out. Very close to interstate. Fine for an overnight stay. I had asked for a "sat friendly" site which she acknowledged when we checked in. Got to our site and it was totally shaded by tree limbs. Oh well. Also couldn't get the cable tv to work. Don't know if that was their cable or our problem. Never had a problem before. Anyway, I'd stop there again. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good for a night or two. Level spots, all gravel. Good utilities. Cable doesn't work as you need a box. Wifi adequate. Some shade, quite a bit of sunny sites, facing west. Very dusty with construction on main road. I 90 very close and some noise. Behind Super 8, but easy to find. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Corn palace being redone, but still interesting. Easy to get to with good nearby parking. Found a really nice dog park which allowed our pooch to stretch her legs a bit as there is very little walking areas for pets at CG.

This campground was surprisingly quiet considering its proximity to Interstate 90. We expected lots of road noise, especially when we were trying to sleep, but there was none. Our site was 3 sites from the office. Not sure what it would be like if your site was closer to the highway. Sites were large enough for us to park our boat, 5th wheel and truck on, although we did have to unhook our truck. Overall, the sites were rather large for a commercial campground. Campers may use the pool at the Super 8, which is next to the campground. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Sites were clean. Our Dish satellite worked well on our site. Campground WiFi was fast and signal was strong. We'll stay here again when in MItchell. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this "motel" campground which turned out to be a REAL campground and not a parking lot. Park sites were better than average with nice shade (or not as desired) ...and the hostess was exceptionally helpful. Cable & internet were fine.
A fine stop for the night off I-90.
Note that the entrance to the park is not obvious. Go the the left side of the motel by the gas station...and drive straight back to the park office. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Interior roads and sites were dirt/gravel with very level pads, shade, good spacing and utilities placed at the middle. Sites had grassy area with picnic table and fire ring. Camp hosts are nice and friendly. It had been rainy and they made a point of knowing which sites were muddy and put campers in dry sites. No recycling available. Noise is low, WiFi coverage was very good, as was Verizon Cell signal. We were just staying one night so we went to see the Corn Palace. My GPS had a hard time finding this CG... told me it was "off road" and routed me all over the place. It can find the Super-8 Motel just fine. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Here, you can wash your RV with a bucket, but not a hose. There is a truck-wash (Mega Wash) a couple blocks away that will accommodate RVs. Also a Caribou Coffee/Einstein Bagel shop right in front of the Super-8. I love the Caribou Turtle Mocha!!! Yum!

Stopped here for 3 nights. The campground hosts are wonderful: helped us park, and even relocated us so that our rooftop satellite would work well. The site was fairly level and long enough for our rig and truck. The electricity was very stable. The wifi wasn't that good probably due to heavy usage by others. The grounds are well kept. The host is always on patrol making sure everything is in order. We will stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This has been our Mitchel stop for years. At Passport America rates, this has been an excellent value for a very good park. Imagine our surprise when we got here and found out that they no longer honor PPA. Their website (and a review here from last month) say that PPA is still honored. As usual, we had a fairly level, gravel, pull through, FHU site. We had cable and internet that was not reliable in the evening when everybody starts using bandwith eating features like skype and netflix. Thanks, selfish hogs. The laundry is good, but the bathrooms and showers are old and inadequate. There is no recycling. The park shares a small outdoor pool with the motel. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.
