This is a great park for an overnight or two stay. Long, wide pull thrus, with easy access to I 90. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed in this KOA to visit Lewis and Clark sights in the Sioux City area. The park is just off I-29 so you will experience some road noise. It didn't bother us at all. We had no trouble sleeping with the windows open. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Staff takes good care of the facility checking each site as visitors check out to make sure that it is ready for the next person. There are trees in each site that interfered with our Direct TV signal but cable is provided for no additional fee. Decent Wifi for a campground, hard to connect on the weekends when the park was full. We had 3 bars of Verizon 4G service on phone and Jetpak. Picnic tables need some work, there are fire rings at each site. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We stayed in Sioux City to visit Lewis and Clark Historic sites. Sioux City Iowa has the Sargent Floyd Visitor Center, The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and a great bike path all of the Missouri Riverfront. Dorothy Pecault Nature Center was beautiful. The Lewis and Clark Visitor Center at Gavin's Point Dam was amazing.

We stayed here for just one night on our way through, so for that kind of stay, this park worked out fine. We were greeted on arrival by a friendly staff, we were escorted to our site, and all the utilities worked well. It is convenient, right off the interstate. We were in an easy pull-through site and didn't have to detach our Jeep. Our Verizon signal was very strong here. Perfect spot for an overnight. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Motorhome.

Typical KOA with respect to sites. Close together with no privacy however I can say that the pull through fit our truck and rig, without requiring us to unhitch. We had no problems opening our slides. Office staff was nice. Bathhouse was clean. Property has several long term tenants that do not help with the property's value. Property was close to the intereste, but the road noise was not too bad (which was helpful as I am a light sleeper). We found this KOA to be too expensive, for what it is. The roads are gravel and the landscaping is moderate at best. The pool was small, but not too bad...however, the water was very cloudy. Some attention was needed there. The biggest frustration, was that there was an additional coast for the amenities. The pool and playground are included in your camping , but if your kids want to play putt-putt or even jump on the bounce pillow, you have to pay $10 for a wristband! $51/night (with a KOA membership discount) and you have to pay additional for family activities? For us, just not worth it. We don't be back. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed two nights in this campground. It was early in the season so it wasn't crowded. Roads and sites are gravel with areas of grass in between. Spacing is good, sites are sufficiently long. I thought it was pricey for off season rates, thus the lower rating. Easy on and off I-29, 15 min max into Sioux City. Wifi was adequate, cable tv excellent. They have lots of activities lined up for the summer. Lots for kids to do. There is road noise, but we did not find it unpleasant. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the few campground open year round in the north this is a standard KOA with a better than usual store. We seem to always end up back here going north or south from Canada. WIFI is excellent. staff are wonderful. They have specials to encourage people to return. You can buy propane and the laundry is clean and big. Some permanent residents but it's neat and clean. A better than average KOA. Office closes at 6:00pm promptly. This KOA is in town at the edge of north Sioux City and right off the interstate so traffic and city noise is a problem. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stopped in for an overnight stay on our trip south. This is a very nice KOA and one of the few open year round this far north. There are a few year round residents which is why th park is open. We had to pay for a full service pull through because all the less expensive sites are closed this time of year. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The bathroom were not heated and it took a while for hot water to get to the washroom. So run the water before you undress. Otherwise it was great. They let us leave late without any fuss of charge because we were the only overnighters and we needed to go for an oil change.

Pros: sites have easy access with nice shade trees. Cons: tired looking with dried mud piled around untended landscaping. Ok for overnight stay or if you have kids. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Motorhome.

Typical of a well-run KOA. Owners are young and ambitious, making improvements to the park. All staff I met were friendly and helpful. Sites were level with room for slides, but not overly long. Lots for kids to do onsite. Some highway noise, but not too bad. Expensive, as usual for KOA, but I would come back when in this area. Good Verizon phone and internet service. We stayed here one night on the weekend before the 4th of July so our experience may not be typical. The park was 100% full. Children were running free, unsupervised. There were a lot of campfires with a lot of smoke. Fireworks were exploding in and around the park until almost midnight. The roads within the park are all one way. The dump station is located on the wrong side of one of these roads so that I had to go against the normal traffic flow to dump. There is a book exchange in the laundry area. There was a pancake/sausage breakfast. Access from I-29 is easy. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The only reason I gave this campground a 9 instead or a 10 is because there is no privacy and wifi is very slow. There is a nice pool with lounging chairs around the deck. The store is well stocked with the basic essentials. The water and cable hookups are at the front of the site so we had to buy a 50' coax cable. Very convenient to I-29 but you have to listen to traffic all day long. Seems to be a few long term residents as well. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

$52  a bit steep for 1 night in Sioux City, SD (IMO) . Good WIFI connection and Verizon signal. Easy to find and the sites are... KOA sites. Let's squeeze them in. Sites are easy in &  out.... just narrow. Great Park for kids and family. Plenty for the kids to do. Quiet, no highway or train noise. We stayed 1 night and would stay again. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Adjacent to interstate but noise tolerable. Older style park with permanent workers' vans but everything was tidy. Very helpful staff and escorted to site however it was down the back of the park, away from the interstate, but we requested a move to be near the laundry as it was raining. They were happy to oblige. Ok wi-fi and good channels. A family friendly park with amenities for the kids. Stayed one night in 38ft motorhome. A mix of pull thrus and back ins. Gravel sites with grass between. Enough room to be comfortable if the weather had been nicer. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice, as you would expect from a KOA. escorted to our site, All the services available. Spaces are fairly close, but acceptable. We had to get help from the office with the WiFi commercial service. Young man immediately dispatched to our unit, he cleverly forced the search engine to go to a nonexistent website, which forced the service to display their logon screen, and we were good to go. lots of cable channels on TV, plenty of kid friendly amenities we did not need or want. Decent areas to walk pets, especially the bike/ped path along local road out front. Yes, there is traffic noise, that's the trade off when you want to be close to your route. We'd stay here again. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Motorhome.
