Very basic park. Pea gravel and grass. Perfect and safe for a night or two. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Even if you are here for just one night, drive the 4 miles in to see "Falls Park." Walk around the falls on a lovely paid path surrounded with lawn. Dog Friendly. It is one of those surprise beauties you find when on the road.

Stayed here a few nights to get some business done. Freeway noise but it is close by the freeway. Lots of overnighters as it was easy on and off the freeway. It would fill up and night and clear out the next morning. Would stay here again. Except for freeway quiet park. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty good KOA. It's expensive for what you get unless you bring a car full of kids to play at the mini-golf or game room or pool (closed after Labor Day). They have a good variety of sites, all gravel. Most sites were fairly level but I noticed a few with quite a bit of slope. Our site was a satellite friendly 60' long pull thru with 20' between rigs. They also have shared pull thrus where one rig occupies 1/2 of a pull thru and another backs in butt-to-butt. Personally, I hate that arrangement with a neighbor literally a foot or two behind your unit. Road noise can be annoying as you are right on the Interstate. During the day, you'll also hear jet aircraft from the nearby airport. The KOA has a nice dog park and grass between units. There's no cable TV but about half the sites look good for satellite. Campground wifi worked fairly well. Verizon had a strong LTE signal. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical KOA and we were able to get a decent night's rest here. While the actual neighbors in the campground were quiet, you are really close to both I-90 and the airport so there was a fair amount of noise from both. With our AC running though, it kept the noise from being too much of a nuisance.

Only complaint is that in the main women's restroom one of the showers is overly affected by use of the sinks. If someone washes hands while you're in the shower, the water in the shower goes to freezing cold and you lose most of the pressure. Once the sinks are turned off, the shower is fine. I both overheard somebody dealing with this and then experienced it myself.

The back to back sites were fine. It's helpful having the yellow disk to mark the halfway point so that who gets what is very clear. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Good for us for over night while traveling. There appears to be a heavy truck repair across the road that works on motorhomes so if your having problems with your you might phone the campground ahead and get their info. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Having stayed here a couple years ago, we stopped here since we knew what to expect. The interstate noise is not an issue with us. We again had a gravel, level, pull through, FHU site near the fairly new secondary bathhouse and laundry at the west end of the park. Our site had limited cable TV but was satellite friendly. The WI-FI was OK because there park was not jammed with families using 4 or 5 devices per site. There is a variety of RV site types and sizes at this park. There are also a couple dozen tent sites and a handful of cabins. This park is well run and had most of the family friendly (pool, playground, mini-golf, etc.) amenities which KOA is known. The staff I dealt with were friendly. There is recycling. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

We used this KOA as stop for one night on our way west along I-90. We arrived early in the afternoon and were given a pull through in the last row right next to the highway. The highway is VERY close but with our AC on we did not notice any noise during the night.

The sites were gravel and level with full hookups. We could have left our truck attached to the trailer if we had wanted and still fit in the spot. Each site had a wooden picnic table. The sites are closer together than some of the pull-through KOA's we've stayed at (our power/water/sewer hookups took up half of our neighbor's outdoor space!) Being on the end gave us the feeling that we had more room.

We were lucky to get that end spot so we had a nice sized plot of grass right out the door to walk our two small dogs (and didn't have to look at anyone's sewer hose!) The campground had a fenced in dog run that we took our dogs to but unfortunately like most places, other campers ruin it by not picking up after their dogs or leaving the gate open when they leave with our dogs still off-leash. They also have a large not fenced grassy area designated for walking dogs also.

Power worked without problem, water had very good pressure. We did not use the campground bathrooms or shower.

The campground was very clean and the folks who checked us in were polite but not the friendliest we'd met at KOA's. There are several "Campground for Sale" signs around and we'd be disappointed if this place isn't there on our next trip through the area. There is an RV dealer next door that could preform some maintenance if needed.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay but had we not gotten an end site we wouldn't have enjoyed our stay as much. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Ending a long trip, we stayed at this KOA for the first time. We'd passed it before since it does not look like much from the road. Well surprise! It is a terrific campground. Very professionally run. Bathrooms extremely clean and air conditioned. Site well groomed. Wonderfully clean pool. Plenty of close bathroom access from our site. I'd definitely go back. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Had flat, level, pull through site that allowed me to keep my tow vehicle hooked up for a one night stay. Each site had a wooden picnic table. The staff was professional and the grounds were clean. We were provided an exit map and given two sets of ear plugs. The freeway is close and some what noisy but the freeway did not disturb my sleep. The laundry room was clean and all the machines worked. A very nice space for a one or two night layover. WI-Fi and AT&T phone service worked very well. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Travel Trailer.

I have basically the same feelings about this place as others do in regard to this place. Everything is great except the one thing they can do nothing about, and that is the road noise from I90 which is probably 150 yards away the campground. It is busy 24/7. They will actually give you free ear plugs at the office but they aren't very good. Even for free. You would be better off going to a drugstore to pick up some good ones. The staff is first class, as are the showers and restrooms. They have two restrooms so when one is being cleaned, you can use the other. We will be staying here again. There is not much shade at some sites and though we had plenty of space on either side, we were back up to another RV. This however, created no problems with privacy, We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Travel Trailer.

There are lots of negative comments about the interstate but it didn't bother us that much. The staff is great. Sites are level and easy to enter and exit. It's a great location for seeing the local sights, convenient to both I-90 and I-29. We will stay again when traveling through the area. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful. Roads and sites are gravel. Plenty of room between sites!

This KOA would get a higher rating if it wasn't so close to the interstate. The truckers are brutal, especially the ones who engine break.

Otherwise, it has everything you need. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Sioux Falls is a beautiful city. Lots of old buildings made of granite from the old days. Unbelievable!.

A visit to the Falls is mandatory! So is the old courthouse.

The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars across the board is its location off the interstate. It's certainly easy off/easy on, but the highway noise is constant. There are no sites that would protect you from the sounds of trucks, day and night. That is the only negative with this park. It is clean, well kept, sites are level and roomy. The staff were ALL extremely friendly and welcoming! Campstore is well stocked, clean and bright. Nice little mini golf, playground for kids. Laundry facility was great! Loved that you just had to do 50 cents at a time for drying. Plenty of room to work in, and enough washers and dryers if camp is busy. Firepits can be rented at office. It is a journey KOA, so I suspect most campers just use it as a stopover. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice KOA situated near the interstate but a little below so little road noise. Great folks at check in and everyone very friendly. Adequate WiFi but we did tend to use a tether to AT&T. Noted that the park was for sale when we left so we hope it's still there on our next trip. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed overnight in a long pull-thru. The office was very helpful and polite. Site was pretty level with hookups well-placed. Gravel roads and pads with grass between. Seems a bit pricey as I arrived late and left early, not using any facilities. However, I paid for a convenient location, big rig access, and a safe area. Google navigation to WalMart on the east side of town took me north of the park down a gravel road. I should have stuck to going south from the park to I-90.
