This park is part of the KOA Journey classification which is meant to describe parks to stay at on your way to somewhere. That's about right for this park; you wouldn't want to stay here any longer than necessary. It's an acceptable place to stay for a day or two, but that's all. The park is situated so close to the interstate to the noise level is high enough to make sitting outside unpleasant. With the windows closed, the noise was less noticeable but was still there. The park itself has gravel/dirt roads and sites. Calling them gravel rather than dirt would be stretching the truth. The park has a very narrow entrance driveway and very limited parking for registration. It was so crowded when we arrived that it was impossible to get our MH off of the road and into the driveway. Furthermore, there was only one workcamper acting as an escort to take you to your site and only one harassed worker behind the registration counter. I realize that the season is winding down rapidly this far north, but there should have been more staff. Yet another example of why this park is overpriced for what you get. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

This a decent park. Swimming pool was nice but needs some updating. Paid additional $5 + tax for fire ring. RV's are very close together. You will not be able to avoid the smoke from everyone's campfires at night. There is a very nice dog run on the side of the property. Staff were very friendly and escorted you to your site as navigating the roads in a big rig can be tricky. If campground is full, vehicles may need to be moved to get into the site. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Close to downtown Sioux Falls, Falls park, the sculpture walk goes on in early July which is nice. There is a Camping World right next door to the KOA as well in case you need RV supplies which is handy.

Our site was too short for our 35 foot motor home and toad. The Jeep stuck out in the road. So we had to unhook and park the Jeep parallel to the road. We hadn't planned to unhook the Jeep. The hookups were all at the front. Had to use an extra sewer hose and an extra water hose. Electric just made it fortunately cause we don't have an extension. Cable was awful so we switched to antenna and got plenty of stations. Laundry room had plenty of washers and driers fortunately cause it was busy. $1.50 for a washer. 0.25 for 10 minutes on a dryer. I didn't notice the road noise at night but it was very noticeable in the morning. Good dog walk area. It rained that night so in the morning there were mud puddles/ mud everywhere. We pulled out of the park onto a paved road to hook up the tow. I'm rating my site bad because it was too short and we had to use all our extra hoses to reach the hookups and we were surrounded by mud in the morning. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

The park is located within yards of I-90 next to Camping World. Mostly pull thru sites on a large gravel lot. Spacious, easy in and out, hookups were good. WiFi was good. Water pressure good! The bad: The highway noise from the Interstate is non stop and loud! Even inside the RV at night it was still bad. We were on a back row close to the highway and my wife made the remark "you know if one of those tractor trailers ran off the road it could easily wipe out a bunch of RV's" Fortunatly we were only here for 2 nights. This park basically fills up and empties out everyday. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is right by the highway which makes it convenient for one night camping but there is some highway noise at night. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Our site was short for us as we didn't want to unhook the truck since we were there for only one night. To get into the site and not sit out into the road it meant that the hookups were a long way off. There was no way we could hook up the cable and had to use an additional hose for the sewer. Bathroom was directly across from us which was great. Facilities were clean and neat. Laundry room was great except the change machine would only take $1 or $5 bills. By the time we knew that, the office was closed. Frustrating. There are no fire rings but you can rent a portable fire stand or use your own. Pool is not huge but nice. Decently stocked store. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We have been here a couple times in recent years and have been happy with this park. Once again, we were able to get a satellite friendly site. It was a fairly level, gravel, pull through, FHU site on the west end of the park. It was convenient to the satellite bathroom building and laundry. It is always better when a park has a second bath facility. The pool is a bit small for the park and there are also other (playground, b-ball basket, etc.) recreational amenities. The Wi-Fi was good enough to do this review. There is some recycling. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Park was fairly empty so found it easy to move around in and our site was sat friendly and level. I would think of this as a over nighter or short stay. Light sleepers may find the road noise a problem. we had no problem. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

GPS brought us right to the park. The office staff was friendly. The roads were gravel as were the sites. There was nice spacing between the sites. The hookups were convenient. We were in a long pull thru with 50amp full hookups. ATT signals, cellular and 4g, were strong. We had a great line of sight for our roof mounted satellite dish. The park is located right next to I-90 so it is a little noisy. Plus there is an airport nearby so all you need is train tracks and you get the trifecta of noise. Truth be told the noise wasn't that bad so we would probably stay here again. As usual we left some things to do next time and there are some good places to eat that we wouldn't mind eating at again. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Awful Traffic Noise. Convenient from Interstate. Staff is pleasant. Easy navigation in campground. It was raining when we arrived. Water accumulated on the right side of the pad so we got our shoes wet when exiting the motorhome. Well manicured campground. Long site. The utilities were well placed and worked well. The wifi is okay until the campground filled. The cable is just okay. They need digital cable. We got digital channels ota and received a satillite signal. The noise from the Interstate is the worst that I have ever experienced. Happily we were there for only one night. I wouldn't stay again. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Campground is very convenient to interstate when driving through area. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but I wasn't impressed with sites at all, but my opinion might be slanted due to heavy rains during visit - water pooled about 4" deep on both sides of RV, and trash dumpsters were overflowing. Weekend price is $53 with discount. This will be our new regular stop in Sioux Falls now that the alternative has priced itself into the ridiculous. All spaces are pull-throughs - easy to get in and out. Ours was plenty long, level and decently wide. All the usual KOA amenities, though scaled down since this is a KOA Journey, oriented toward overnighters. The only thing I would complain about was the Interstate noise, though that is a common problem. We were in the row closest to the Interstate, and the noise was bearable with windows closed (it was very hot when we were there). We will stay there again when next we are in Sioux Falls. Verizon cell and internet works there, didn't try the Wifi. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

When you check in, they give you a paper called "exit strategy" with directions for leaving the park. Use it. It's not difficult, but if you go straight down Robur to the left when leaving, you can't turn left on Cliff to get into town or to I90. The way they tell you to go, there is a traffic light on Cliff, and it is easy to turn left.

Nicely laid out, with some well-shaded sites and others sunny. WiFi was excellent, cable was not (over the air was better quality). Swimming pool was the perfect temperature after a long day's drive. Lots of space between sites, so no one feels crowded. Some mentioned the road noise, but it didn't bother us. We would stay here again. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

8 rating for RV Park Reviews. Stayed one night during travel. Deluxe site with concrete pad and large concrete patio with table, chairs and gas grill (no fire ring due to City restrictions). Grounds are nice but right off of I-90 so a bit of road noise but very convenient on/off for travel. Not sure I would make this a "destination" park. Staff was very friendly and helpful with good service. Office had nice stocked store. Bathhouse was well maintained, nice and kept clean. Site had Cable TV but fairly limited number of channels but fine for short stay. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

The road noise in this park is unbearable. Our rig was parked less than 100' from I 90, and a truck depot is across the street from the park. Road noise 24 hours a day. We could NOT wait to leave. Also, upon arrival I informed rep that our receipt had to include both of our names as we were using the receipt for SD residency. I went on to spell my name. The rep ignored the info and provided a receipt with only my husband's name. I asked her again for a receipt with both names, but she was unable to figure out how to do it. The manager who apparently was the only one with computer savvy, was on the phone with a reservation. The entire process took too long and it was completely unnecessary as I had provided the info before the clerk printed the receipt. Not a good way to start a noisy stay. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Office personnel not as friendly as some but ok. We stayed in a premium site with a patio and concrete parking. Wifi much better than most campgrounds so actually no complaints at all.
