We haven't stayed here since 7/16 but that review still gives an accurate description of the park. We had a fairly level, gravel, FHU pull through site with cable TV that was also clear for satellite TV reception. The main building contains the bathrooms, showers, and laundry. Because there are many non-sewer sites, these facilities could be overwhelmed by a fairly full park. This is also true of the small pool. The Wi-Fi was OK for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. I still don't see any recycling. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

The sites are very crammed. We barely had any room to park the truck on in front or behind the camper. Your neighbor is literally 15 feet next to you so it is very tight. The water pressure was awesome and all in all it was a good overnighter and I am guessing the best in town as far as choices go. I would do another overnighter if we had to their but wouldn't do much more than that. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

GPS would have had me exit at wrong exit. Signage after exit was either poor or none existent. Far enough away from I-90 that there is no noise. The campground is not attractve. Staff is just business like. Easy navigation in campground. The site was long, but utilities are at the back of the site so it would be difficult to keep toad attached. The campground is not being cleaned prperly. The utilities worked well. The wifi was terrible even when the campground was mostly empty. There is cable only at some sites. They didn't even ask if we wanted cable and we didn't get it. We could receive satillite, and we got digital channels ota. I probably would not stay again. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

We chose a water and electric site without cable. There is a dump station. Nice shower house with four shower stalls. It rained so sites were muddy. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Within walking distance of Wall Drug and restaurants downtown. The Badlands Saloon and Bar was recommended, but it is a two star establishment at best.

Not much other than a bunch of gravel sites. But walking distance to down town, close to the Badlands, and convenient to the highway. Good laundry facilities. Coming from the east, we took our trailers through the Badlands national park to save some time. But instead of driving the hair pin curves on the loop road at the end of a long day, we should have dropped the trailers at the campground and then driven back. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Our site was nice and level. Interior roads are easy to navigate. It's an easy walk into town, though there is not a sidewalk right near the campground. This is our second time staying here (first time was several years ago in a tent). We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Basic campground for a onenight stay, good location to visit the Badlands and take a walk thru Wall Drug. Long pullthru but graveled drive was not level. Wall is the western entrance for the Badlands loop road, a must do. Touring the Badlands west to east seemed to offer great views as most of the viewpoints were on the right. You can walk from the campground to Wall Drug. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

This RV park is only 1 block from Wall Drug, an easy walk. A large, spacious park with level gravel sites and good full hook ups. Very easy for me to get my 42' 5th wheel and long bed truck in here. We got here about noon and there's still a little snow on the ground (cold!) so there weren't many here when I took the photos but like most RV parks, they're rolling in now. It's a great location to visit the little town of Wall as well as a home base for the Badlands. We used Good Sam for the discount so it was only $36. This park has very good wifi and a nice dog park. See my photos. I would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

A very quiet campground with occasional train traffic (averaged one or two per day) with some whistle blowing. Overall not really objectionable, but noticeable to a light sleeper. Main entrance road is gravel and a somewhat narrow two lanes. Gravel access roads in the interior (mostly single lane) with somewhat level gravel sites that could use a bit more gravel in places. Perhaps a bit smaller than typical site separation with struggling grass between the sites and a picnic table. Trees all around the perimeter of the campground along with some trees within the campground. Some puddling after a rainstorm, but no mud. Big rigs need to use extra caution on departure due to narrow access roads combined with utilities at the rear of the site across the road. It may be difficult to stay on the gravel making the turn out of the site. Power ok, water ok (70 psi), sewer ok. All utilities are towards the back of the site. Campground wifi had good signal and speed (but the campground was mostly empty at the time); Verizon 5 bars, good speed; TMobile 3 bars, good speed. No problem with satellite access except perhaps in parts of the A (southernmost) row. No recycling on site. Ok road bike riding around the town. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Would have given all stars but our site was full of dog poo and cigarette butts and the electrical hook up was melted. The owner said he pays someone to clean sites and to make sure hook ups are correct. Hopefully he will take care of it. The positive is that it is a very nice park and the gals on check in were very nice, friendly and funny. So pleasant after being on the road. There is also an awesome fenced in dog area that is maintained. We will definitely return to this park when in the area. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this campground for 17 nights and have nothing but good things to say about it. It's not a fancy resort, it's in Wall for goodness sake, but for the type of campground it represents, they do a very good job. The owner was there much of the time, and refunded two weeks of our original one-month reservation without a fuss.

There's not a lot to do in Wall, and while the trip into Rapid City is doable, it gets tedious after a couple times. The park was quiet at night, we didn't hear trains after bedtime. In fact, they were pretty rare so maybe their schedule has something to do with the crops. We weren't bothered by freeway noise at all, and frequently slept with the windows open since the nights were beginning to cool as it got into September.

All-in-all a pretty nice place, we would not hesitate to stay here again when passing through. It is very convenient to the Badlands and the Grasslands, and the pool seemed to be a big hit with the youngsters. There's also a nice playground for the young ones. Huge grassy area toward the back for tenters, and some tent sites closer to the front with a covered pavilion. And the bathrooms were VERY clean (except for the mess made by other patrons).

Don't even think about the other RV park in town, we checked it out and it didn't have anything but a place to park your relatively small rig. We would not have fit there, but had no issues with our size at Sleepy Hollow. We had to request a fire pit after the ban was lifted, and the gal in the office brought one right over for us. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Wall is small enough that you can walk to everything. Grocery store less than a mile away, Wall drug is two blocks. Every trinket you could imagine (and some you probably can't), along with some interesting history and lots of photos. Worth a visit for the "backyard" alone.

The tent sites were good size and the restrooms were very clean. Lady in the office was nice. We originally made reservations for 2 nights. There was a burn ban so we could not have a campfire and went to bed early. There are grain elevators next to the campground. All night-all you can hear are the semi trucks and the train. All night- the train whistle was blowing. Everyone in the camp was so irritated because nobody got any sleep at all. We were supposed to have electric at our site and it did not work. Unfortunately we did not check it until about 8 PM and the office was closed. When we left at 10:00 AM the next morning, the office was still closed. We could not take another night of the noise so we packed our stuff a day early and left for other lodging. The campground is nice, but the noise is terrible. I must say this camp ground is much nicer than the one a block away. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Tent.

We arrived without reservations on the weekend before the sturgis rally. They were pretty full but had spaces available and we took one. It was full hook up with only 30 amps but the power was good and clean and the water pressure was strong as well. The sewer was laid out perfectly to reach with no issues. The people in the office were their usual cheerful selves. We have stayed here before and will stay again. It is walking distance to wall Drug and the shops on the main drag. They had a nice doggy run but we did not need it this time as our last pup passed a few months ago. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Motorhome.
