Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $9.50
Rate was senior based. Site was huge, level, paved, grass between sites, shaded, river view across the lane. Very quiet and dark. Laundry was clean with one washer and dryer. Bath house is clean. Nice walking trails & river access for boaters. Staff is friendly. Tight turn in our 35 foot trailer from the site lane loop in order to exit; I was able to use fisherman boat parking lot to turn. Other sites in campground may have easier exit. Very steep hill into campground. About 12 miles to town for groceries and Wi-Fi at McDonald's. Great spot. We camped at Lock A COE in a Fifth Wheel.
Lock A Campground recovered nicely from the flood of 2010. Sites were level, wide, and shady. Staff was extremely friendly. I have no complaints whatsoever about this campground. I definitely will stay here again. We camped at Lock A COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for a week and were reluctant to leave. Had a beautiful, level concrete site on banks of Cumberland River. Park has an extensive bike/walking trail located on an old railroad bed running along the banks of the river. Lots of walking and biking areas. Hosts were most congenial. Signage leading into the area off the main roads could be better. Good 50 and 30 amp power and water pressure. AT&T cell very good, no internet without air card. Plenty of local TV stations. Used Senior Citizens card for 50% discount. Will return. We camped at Lock A COE in a Travel Trailer.
