1 Park near Carthage, Tennessee
Oct 2015 - $12.00
Large campground with many facilities. Most sites are well spaced out, however the full hookup sites along the lake seem a little close together. The other, W/E sites are spaced further apart. There are as many sites on the lakefront as there are interior sites. The layout of the campground is typical for COE except for several large open areas between loops and clusters of campers. The CG is wooded, except the trees are more sparse than usual, and almost all trees are hardwoods... reminds me of a "day-use" area, except with camp sites.
Good dump station, except there is no flush water line for connection to a black water flush inlet.
Verizon coverage is about 3/5 bars in most of the campground. There is a great hiking trail that originates in the campground and runs to an overlook several Iles away. - Bama Camper

What a beautiful park! The deer were everywhere. It was a rainy weekend but still so peaceful and quiet. Lots of playgrounds for little ones, a basketball court for bigger ones. Most sites are just perfect. On ours we had to back-in and not sure we could've done it without 4wheel drive. Our bumper on the camper did hit and drag. We have already booked our next trip back. - Campingfamily4life
