Very nice campground. Quite large. Area is not the best, but the campground is much better looking than the area. There is Wi-Fi here, with several hot spots with fairly good signals. But we could not maintain a connection for more than a minute or two. Check-in clerk, when I asked, said they have problems, so Wi-Fi access is not really all that great. Nice level sites, some with trees. Grounds kept clean. Fairly quiet. There some old "battlefields" on the property. Housing development over the back fence. We would stay here again. We stayed for a week. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We were there for a national dog show. Area shopping is not so great. Walmart and a shopping area about 10 miles away.

Big park with lots of options - pull- thru, back in, tents. needs better signage off the freeway. sites are big with concrete pad for picnic table. good thing since there was standing water everywhere when we were here. shower rooms are clean but have no light fixture so even on a sunny day it was dark. also no sinks so if your morning routine involved brushing your teeth, you'll be doing it somewhere else. office staff was nice and very efficient. Wi-Fi was really bad. lots of routers to connect to but took forever. gravel had been added recently to the pads. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

lots to do in chattanooga - lookout mountain, rock city, ruby falls, chattanooga choo choo. very relaxing place.

It was a pleasure dealing with the staff of this park. After spending the first night of our first shake-down cruise in a Walmart parking lot we were understandably grumpy but the gentleman who answered the phone at Best Holiday was patient and kind to us newbie RV'ers. The only reason I gave it a nine instead of a ten was due to some trash at our site left behind by previous campers. The dog park is small and graveled, not quite what we were expecting but better than nothing. Our site was a pull through and very easy to use as well as being pretty level. The wifi was, well, kind of what I have been told to expect; it's there but not super dependable. Verizon cell phone reception was great though. Most of the campsites had standing water from recent rains making the fire rings and some picnic tables unusable but this is not the park's fault it is simply spring in southeastern Tennessee. Camping right on a civil war battlefield is pretty cool and it was nice to learn a bit of history during our stay. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are numerous restaurants, shops and activities available a short drive away including everything Chattanooga has to offer. There is a small park store and a Dollar General within walking distance across the street from the park.

Fairly easy access from I-75. The road leading to the campground is a little narrow with just enough hills to make for many blind spots with oncoming traffic. This is a busy road and many people are driving way too fast.

Entrance to the cg is very wide with plenty of room for a large number of registering guests. The office is big, nice, and well-equipped if you should need supplies. Very pleasant staff.

Interior gravel roads are very narrow with tight turns. Be aware of this if you have a long rv. Sites are narrow and very close together in the pull-thru area we were assigned. Very poor drainage. Standing water made getting hooked up to utilities a balancing act using some concrete blocks in order to keep my feet out of the muddy water. Wifi was completely unusable.

Our pull-thru site was barely long enough to accommodate our 41' 5th wheel. Our truck had to be parked sideways across the site in order to keep the front end clear of the roadway.

Good for a quick overnight stop. Wouldn't like to be there long-term. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Have stayed before and like the park. Mostly pull thrus with good services. It rained the whole time we were there and there is no drainage. When we left we were under 4-5 inches of water and to get to the service post you had to navigate a 10" deep lake. Have been previously in good weather and always wondered why there were large puddles everywhere. Would come again but not if it were raining. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a very level space (#4) with a picnic table and grassy area. We stayed for a full month and were pleased that we were given a spot so close to the laundry, showers and office. All facilities were modern and extremely clean. Wi-Fi was excellent. There is a dollar store and a Sara Lee bakery outlet across the street. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and well managed park. Would definitely return. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to visit Chickamauga battlefield while in Chattanooga. It's a beautiful and historical park. Well worth seeing.

The rate reflects a monthly stay of 30 days. You will need to add electricity. The campground refers to recycling in their brochure but it is not available. The signage approaching the campground was good but you need to use the Georgia address to get close with the GPS. The location is good. The staff were professional plus we had an escort to our site because the meter needed to be read. The water pressure was good. Our site had a pine tree that shed needles and pine cones the whole time we were there. The area we were in was very flat and did not drain when it rained. There was standing water everywhere. Our utility post was almost always in a pond. There were several large potholes that filled with water when it rained. The site itself was packed gravel and pretty level. There was a small paved patio with a small picnic table. Maneuvering in the campground was a bit snug. We saw several rigs damaged. We would probably come again if we had a site without a pine tree. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount, pricy for what it was. The good: Person taking reservation was friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in was quick. Site would accommodate our 45 footer and car. Convenient location and quiet. The bad: Wifi seldom worked. Cable TV reception was poor. Park is old and worn. Sites were laid out for travel trailers, not motor homes: Needed 20' of sewer hose, our tiny patio was 15' behind our door. Many permanent sites. Enjoyed seeing Chattanooga, but no reason to stop here again. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Good access from I-24. Interior roads and parking spots are packed gravel. Sites are close together and some have trees that can interfere with opening slideouts and awnings. Good office staff. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Probably the nicest commercial rv park in Chattanooga. Long shady sites but just a bit narrow. Utilities were good. Wifi had four or five nodes to pick from for the best signal and worked well even with the park being close to full. Nice restrooms with private shower rooms. The entrance has been reworked from the old one lane side road to a new multilane entrance with lots of space. No more traffic jams! Nightly rate reflects GS discount. Convenient to everything in Chattanooga. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Lots of cable channels, loved the private shower(wish all RV parks were like this), good location for sight seeing and shopping. Internet was great, all sites are gravel and level, many sites with shade. Good laundry and we will stay here the next time we visit Chattanooga. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Travel Trailer.

Great park for visiting Chattanooga. The park itself is on a Civil War battlefield, and the area has a lot of history to tour. As others have stated, watch out for the GPS directions. I always ask when I call for a reservation and was warned to not turn in at the mobile home park. Evidently there are two sections, an older one with lots of long term stays, and a newer one for overnighters. This is where the 50 amp and cable sites are. But you have the option of being in sites without these amenities at a lower price. Good gravel sites with good drainage. These sites are long and spacious, plenty of room for toad to be hooked up on site. Bathhouse was outstanding. Hookups all good. Did not use laundry, but judging from the bathrooms and pool, I suspect it was very nice. No on-site trash--haul to the dumpster yourself. Our Wi-Fi was excellent, but we were close to the bathhouse, and the antenna was on top of it. Cable was excellent--86 channels; staff told us that the cable company switched to all digital, and they had to upgrade their equipment in the office, which was very expensive, but it was very good. Staff was very helpful, even ran off some maps for me when we wanted to take some side trips on back roads. We definitely would stay here again. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.
