Nice campground. Sites are little tight but our 39' rig fit nicely. Sites are level gravel and clean. The park is quiet and peaceful. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a very level space (#4) with a picnic table and grassy area. We stayed for a full month and were pleased that we were given a spot so close to the laundry, showers and office. All facilities were modern and extremely clean. Wi-Fi was excellent. There is a dollar store and a Sara Lee bakery outlet across the street. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and well managed park. Would definitely return. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to visit Chickamauga battlefield while in Chattanooga. It's a beautiful and historical park. Well worth seeing.

The rate reflects a monthly stay of 30 days. You will need to add electricity. The campground refers to recycling in their brochure but it is not available. The signage approaching the campground was good but you need to use the Georgia address to get close with the GPS. The location is good. The staff were professional plus we had an escort to our site because the meter needed to be read. The water pressure was good. Our site had a pine tree that shed needles and pine cones the whole time we were there. The area we were in was very flat and did not drain when it rained. There was standing water everywhere. Our utility post was almost always in a pond. There were several large potholes that filled with water when it rained. The site itself was packed gravel and pretty level. There was a small paved patio with a small picnic table. Maneuvering in the campground was a bit snug. We saw several rigs damaged. We would probably come again if we had a site without a pine tree. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for two nights and would certainly return. Our site was shady and plenty of space. Wi-Fi worked good. Laundry room was clean and machines worked good. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount, pricy for what it was. The good: Person taking reservation was friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in was quick. Site would accommodate our 45 footer and car. Convenient location and quiet. The bad: Wifi seldom worked. Cable TV reception was poor. Park is old and worn. Sites were laid out for travel trailers, not motor homes: Needed 20' of sewer hose, our tiny patio was 15' behind our door. Many permanent sites. Enjoyed seeing Chattanooga, but no reason to stop here again. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Lots of cable channels, loved the private shower(wish all RV parks were like this), good location for sight seeing and shopping. Internet was great, all sites are gravel and level, many sites with shade. Good laundry and we will stay here the next time we visit Chattanooga. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Travel Trailer.

Probably the nicest commercial rv park in Chattanooga. Long shady sites but just a bit narrow. Utilities were good. Wifi had four or five nodes to pick from for the best signal and worked well even with the park being close to full. Nice restrooms with private shower rooms. The entrance has been reworked from the old one lane side road to a new multilane entrance with lots of space. No more traffic jams! Nightly rate reflects GS discount. Convenient to everything in Chattanooga. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Price reflects Good Sam discount. A little pricey but the park grounds are very nicely kept up. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fairly close to the battleground park. We would stay here again. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Good access from I-24. Interior roads and parking spots are packed gravel. Sites are close together and some have trees that can interfere with opening slideouts and awnings. Good office staff. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

VERY helpful folks at the registration desk . Although we had no reservation they were able to accommodate us and offered a selection of sites. Interior gravel roads are well kept as are the grassy areas and gravel pads. This park was recommended by friends who live in Chattanooga. They did well. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Great park for visiting Chattanooga. The park itself is on a Civil War battlefield, and the area has a lot of history to tour. As others have stated, watch out for the GPS directions. I always ask when I call for a reservation and was warned to not turn in at the mobile home park. Evidently there are two sections, an older one with lots of long term stays, and a newer one for overnighters. This is where the 50 amp and cable sites are. But you have the option of being in sites without these amenities at a lower price. Good gravel sites with good drainage. These sites are long and spacious, plenty of room for toad to be hooked up on site. Bathhouse was outstanding. Hookups all good. Did not use laundry, but judging from the bathrooms and pool, I suspect it was very nice. No on-site trash--haul to the dumpster yourself. Our Wi-Fi was excellent, but we were close to the bathhouse, and the antenna was on top of it. Cable was excellent--86 channels; staff told us that the cable company switched to all digital, and they had to upgrade their equipment in the office, which was very expensive, but it was very good. Staff was very helpful, even ran off some maps for me when we wanted to take some side trips on back roads. We definitely would stay here again. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

We are into our 5th RV, so we have been RVing for a while. We spent two nights. This RV park has the cleanest restrooms and showers we have ever encountered. And guess what? They are air conditioned!! What a pleasure in 90 degree heat! Overall a very nice RV park. We would recommend. We would suggest that the RV parking sites be graded for a more level and easy setup. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The park is near Interstate 75 but access is along some busy streets and then transition into a residential area with narrow streets. The GPS announced our arrival before we actually reached the park so we had to drive a little farther down the road to reach the park entrance. The interior roads and sites are gravel. The roads and sites were narrow. The pull through sites were not long enough for 40’ RV with the toad attached. The sites were generally level. Not much privacy between the sites. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer connections which were generally located about midway along the side of the site. There was an outside table and a fire pit. But the neighbor’s fire pit was very close to our coach. Good that they didn’t have a fire. There are a lot of trees in and around the park. Some trees were close enough to create a problem for slides on the sites with tree encroachment. The park was divided into two sides. One side had the long term residents (seemed to be a lot of them) and the other side was the short stay guests. Some sites offer a view of the southern sky for satellite reception but check with the office when you’re registering to make sure you get one. Park supplied WiFi reception was intermittent. No real designated pet area but there was sufficient grassy areas and along the interior roads. There were no bag dispensers and the only garbage can to dispose of waste in was the centrally located dumpster. For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. None of the structures in the park were identified as a severe weather shelter. There was an auto race track nearby that created some noise on Saturday night. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

We had been to this park once before, but since then they have changed the way you enter. If you use a GPS, it will take you to their mobile home park which is about 1/4 mile prior to the entrance to the RV park. Just watch and look for the signs and you will be in the right place. All sites are pull-through and full hook ups. Electric and water are good and the sites are all very level gravel. We used this as a one night stopover, but the location of the park would make it a good site to see the area. We would stop here again. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Stay here often. Staff very friendly and helpful. Continues to have the drag racing on the weekends, but not much of a problem with AC running. We camped at Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.
