Camping is free if you use the Camping World Service Department during your stay. That's the reason for the 'Value' having an Excellent rating in my review. I would not have paid to stay here. Our site was narrow, trees in area and a narrow road made it difficult to enter site. Site was mostly dirt, some gravel and very little grass. Water spigot was not two inches above ground. If I didn't have a 90 degree elbow with me I would not have been able to attach my water hose to the spigot without removing dirt from around the spigot. Water pressure was good, but within an hour of arriving water was turned off for about an hour. Picnic table was very old, weathered, warped and splintered. Campground has cable TV, with SD channels only, channels are weak and 'snowy'. No WiFi in campground, WiFi is available in Camping World store. Parts of campground heavily treed. Our site was not that heavily treed, but our satellite antenna could not 'see' any of the Dish satellites 61, 72, 77, 110, 119 and 129. There are a few sites near the Service area the might get satellite reception . Campground is mostly seasonals, quite a few RVs were dirty and visually in need of repair. Interior roads are paved, but still lots of dust. Pool was closed during our stay with no reason given. Overall campground is clean. We were only here to use the Service Department otherwise we would not stayed here. The old saying 'You get what you pay for' applies here. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

An old park but the price is right. It's used throughout the day by Camping World Sales and their service dept. It quiets down after they all go home at 4:30 p.m. We were here with out 42' 5th wheel so we had to unhook and park the truck off to the side. There is vehicle parking by the pool. The staff all seem very friendly. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Gravel site with cement patio, lots of trees. Full hook-ups. Lots of static/snow on cable. Many sites are used by customers that are there to have service done on their RV and in some cases service was being done in the campground. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Rate of $21.00 per night includes full hookups and cable. Campground is old and in need of a little TLC. Park did not appear full/sold out during our stay. Some of the sites are used to store new RV's being sold at the store. The roads are gravel, and narrow. Most sites are pull through. Site pads are gravel and relatively level, most have a concrete patio with some grass and some have a picnic table. Sites vary in size from being short and narrow to others being adequately wide and long enough for easy tow vehicle parking and awning/slide out use. Most sites are shaded and adequate in size for outdoor activity. All hookups are on the left side of the RV and old. Some water faucets are installed very close to the pedestals and not overly convenient to hookup the water hose. Limited number of sites with 50 amp service. Office allows you to select any open site after registration and then report the site number to the camp host. The campground is located between the Camping World retail and service buildings and has golf cart traffic going back and forth very frequently during business hours. Campground entrance is controlled access via a touchpad code. There is a pool and shower/bathrooms that we did not use or check out. Verizon, Sprint and T Mobile all have multiple bars and work well. We will stay here again when traveling to/through Chattanooga, excellent value for the rate. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

We stopped here for an overnight stay ahead of a storm. Went to CW sales office paid fee and then picked out a site and turned in the site number to camp host. The sites were some what muddy as it had just rained. Also the sites are in a cluster of pine trees and we were pelted with pine cones during the heavy winds. Need to use care as trees are close to sites entrances. I think that they use the RV park for customers to switch RVs. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

We took a chance and came in because one of our air conditioners on our motor home had quit working and we hoped to get it fixed without delaying our planned 4 month trip in the south. The park is nothing special, but adequate (and free). This is the kind of place to spend a night or get your RV fixed. It has the look of needing a facelift. For the price, it is an incredible deal. Full hook ups, everything worked. The campground is surrounded by Camping World sales, store, inventory, and service. The people are friendly, helpful and fixed our air conditioner in one day. We stayed one night. It was an easy stop off the interstate and perfect for just one night. You pay at the store (closes at 7:00), pick your site, and turn in a slip to the campground host. They do not accept reservations, but there seemed to be several sites available when we arrived about 6:00 on a Wednesday night. The sites are reasonably level and the bathrooms were adequate. The regular price for a night is $23 or you can renew your Good Sam membership for $27 and get a free night of camping. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is operated by Camping World in Chattanooga. Interestingly enough, the store is in Georgia while the campground and service department is across the parking lot and in Tennessee! I don't think anyone would consider this campground to be a destination campground. The sites are quite narrow and the campground has a generally tired feeling about it. And it is urban camping: a motel parking lot was across the tall chain link fence by our rig. The restrooms were clean but the pool wasn't open yet for the summer. People come to the campground to await getting service done on their RVs and to take advantage of the low price during a visit to the tourist town that is Chattanooga. We saw one happy camper moving from their old RV into a new one that had been parked facing them in the neighboring campsite. I saw elsewhere that if you renew your Good Sam membership at the store (which is where you register) that camping fees were waved. I asked, and we got the same deal - not just for one night, but for both nights of our stay. Our Verizon signal was very good and I had a clear view of the sky for satellite reception (although cable TV was available at each site). We arrived in late afternoon and all the 50 amp sites were taken. The second day many of them were open into the evening. If you are visiting Chattanooga, don't mind a crowded campground, and are okay with taking your chances on getting a spot, you might want to keep this place in mind. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Chattanooga. I needed to renew my Good Sam card so I did that here and got one free night.

It is better then I expected. It is in a wooded section with shade. The sites are full hook up with a good selection of cable TV. Outside is a gravel pad and roads with a small concrete patio and a picnic table with a decent amount of space between sites. This is not a "destination" campground but great for visiting the area. I had no problems with check in. It is close to the highway so you do hear some road noise. It is within walking distance to a grocery store and a little bit farther is Bass Pro Shop. I would come back here again if I am seeing the sites in this area. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

This park is adjacent to a Camping World store and is first come, first serve, without reservations. We stopped here on our way back from the Pigeon Forge area to cut our drive time down. Check-in is in the Camping World store. Park in the RV parking area and walk to the checkout area of the store. WiFi is available only in the lounge sea of the store. Salespeople were eager and happy to help us. The park is a little tight for parking and maneuvering. It's clearly made for passers-through; there is virtually no outside living space. The park is shady. There are a fair amount of long term stay patrons but there were plenty of open sites when we stopped in. The cable is great but our 30 amp site throws the breaker more often than expected. We were pleasantly surprised at the availability, considering we arrived on the Thursday before the 4th of July weekend. We loved that we could just shorten our road trip and pull in here for a night. It was better than expected. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Travel Trailer.

Don't get all the negative reviews of this place. It's 1 mile off I-75 on the Tenn / GA line outside Chattanooga. We got what we expected, a simple campground to spend one night, which has full hook-ups. The roads inside were easy to move our 45-footer around, but a few of the spaces tight. But not a problem. Good power, water pressure, and easy reachable sewer. We arrived after Camping World had closed, so we had no reservation. The wife ran around the park in the toad, found a spot and radioed me to come in. Didn't even have the engine shut-down yet and the camp host was there to greet us. Yes, she's a little rough around the edges, but she runs a tight ship and treated us great with clear instructions. She even called the next day to ask how our stay was. A fair amount of permanent units in the park, but no problems, and things well-kept up. We'll definitely stay here again for a stop-over in the area. The Camp Host recommended an Italian Restaurant up the street. We typically don't take recommendations from hosts or concierges, but took a chance, and it was really good. $7.95 for a pitcher of beer with the most expensive thing on the menu $13.50.

Use the big Camping World lot to unhook / hook-up toad.

We were here to have repairs done and we were happy to have a regular RV park to stay in. No charge if you are there for service. The park will flood if there is A LOT of rain. We arrived right after an evacuation so it was messy and very wet. FHU and cable. Trees for shade. Nice area to walk dogs. Service was excellent. Employees were friendly and helpful. Will stay again if in the area. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Previous posts are quite accurate, however we used the park on a Saturday night and found out after check-in there was a drag strip very near by. The sound went late into the night and was very distracting. I would not recommend this park when races are run. Sites are close but pretty level. Water, electric and cable worked well. Campground reservations were at the Camping World store. I had to double park and block the roadway so anyone behind me could not get around me. There is no registration parking. The registration was by a young woman who had taken several advanced courses in speed speaking. After I exclaimed that I didn't understand what she said, she explained that the information was at the bottom of the reservation page. I then drove back to the campground, which there is no sign (says service area), and there was not a convenient place to unhook the toad, so again, I blocked several people trying to make the loops in the campground. (sorry, not intentional). A recent rainstorm left the campground a big mud hole with pot-holed streets. Sites are very close together, no picnic table on my site. There were no 30 amp sites that I could fit into available without lots of maneuvering, so, I called the campground store when I saw an unoccupied 50 amp site. The same young speed-speaking woman said it would be OK to take that site. Then, the instructions say you fill out the yellow slip with your site number and deposit it in site #9 in the mailbox. The camp host caught me depositing the slip, and decided it was her duty to tell me that I took a site she had been reserving, and the front desk didn't know what they were doing. She then proceeded unsolicitedly to tell me all about the local attractions in the area as she smoked her cigarette and blew offensive smoke.

Verizon worked well, the water pressure was 40 psi, and electricity at 124 volts. Turns are tight for big rigs, trees have over-hanging branches, and only a few sites are able to get satellite TV. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

They don't take reservations. They only take registrations in the Camping World store, which is only open 8-6 weekdays and 11-5 Sunday, so if you get in later than that you're out of luck. They have no idea what sites are occupied or not, and mark the camp full even when there's sites available. They don't communicate between registration and the camp host. The camp host was increasingly patronizing over the period of a 10 minute conversation, and smoked the whole time. I managed to overload the circuit (used the a/c and microwave at the same time) which kicked off not the breaker at the pedestal, but the breaker back at a central breaker box that is inaccessible to campers - and then we couldn't reach the maintenance people.

All in all, a very poorly managed facility. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.
