Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a basic RV park that is very well maintained. The interior roads and sites are all gravel. The management does a good job of keeping adequate quantities of gravel on the roads and sites so that they do not become muddy. The sites are reasonably wide with at least one tree on each site providing for a pleasant amount of shade. The sewer connection is located at the rear of some of the sites requiring a long stinky sleaky to be used which is inconvenient. There is a picnic table at each site. The park does not offer cable TV which lowers the value of the park. For the price charged, I expect cable service. The park does offer WiFi which worked reasonably for e-mail and web browsing. The park is located right on the interstate so there is some road noise. It was not a large distraction for sleeping with the windows closed in our motor home. Overall, the park is neat, clean, and convenient to the interstate. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are numerous places to eat and shop at the Clarksville exit east of the park. The section of I-24 between Nashville and the Kentucky/Tennessee state line is pretty void of truck stops to conveniently purchase diesel for a large RV. You need to stop either in the Nashville area or just past the Kentucky/Tennessee state line.

Overall Rating:

Stayed 4 nights while visiting our daughter at Ft Campbell. We would have given an Excellent rating, but have to concede there is a fair amount of noise from I-24 and the scrapyard on the other side of the local road. We were not disturbed by either, but if noise is an issue for you and you are here with the windows open, it needs to be considered. Now that is out of the way. Campground is well maintained and clean with a friendly helpful staff. Sites are level and well maintained, with plenty of shade, but not so much as to be a major impediment to Satellite reception. Sites are close but still have plenty of room for sliders/awnings. W/S/E all worked excellent. Campground store is well stocked. WiFi had great coverage, but did get a bit slow during peak usage. There are plenty of stores and services nearby. Very easy access from exit 1, I-24. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very easy access to and in this well kept park with our extra large sized 40'+ big rig RV. Sites in back of park near I-24 have significant traffic noise but middle and front of park were much quieter. AT&T Internet reception fair but Verizon was very strong. Very friendly and helpful staff made our stay very pleasant. We would return. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights while traveling through the area.

The park is close to I-24 (Exit 1: SR-48, Trenton RD) but there is very little noise from the Interstate. However, there is a metal recycling business across the street that was operating from early morning to evening.

The park was well cared for and landscaped. The pool was closed for the season.

The interior roads and site parking pad are gravel. Some of the roads were narrow with tight turns. Almost all of the sites appeared level even though there was a slight slope to the ground. There is not much privacy between the sites as the sites are close to each other. The pull through sites were long enough for coaches and their toads. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. There was an outside table but no fire pits in the RV area.

The trees around the park & the tree canopy made satellite reception hit and miss depending on site assignment and your dish configuration. The park brochure showed 6 broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.

The provided WiFi was good. There was no cell phone reception (NET10) in the park but there was a pay phone available.

No designated fenced pet area. There were a couple of designed pet areas around the park and there was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads. There were a couple of dumpsters around the park to dispose of waste.

There were a few long term residents. They were in a different area of the park from the short stay residents. The presence of the long term residents wasn't a negative impact on the park.

For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. No structure was identified as a severe weather shelter.

Probably would stay here again if traveling through the area but wouldn't stay for more than a couple of days. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

The Park is lovely. Spaces are all pull through and very long. Amenities are excellent. What is a downside is the constant noise from a busy highway on one side and a huge noisy junk yard that starts up at 7 a.m. on a Sunday morning, on the other side of this relatively small rv park. If it weren't for these two issues, I'd give this park at least a 9 if not a 10 rating. If you stay here, be sure to have a fan to make white noise so that you can sleep. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice small park with only 67 sites. Pretty park with two tall trees on each side of each site. Sites are gravel and grass. Sites are pull thrus and quite long. Opening the awning with neighbor's slides out works fine. Park is well maintained. Cable TV is good. Park is only half full and WiFi is practically non-existent. Very disappointing. Two BIG problems for this park are that the highway is right next to the park and very noisy 24 hours a day. Other side of the park has a junk yard that starts crushing old cars at 7:00 AM every day including Sunday. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

about an hour drive to Nashville - Country Music Hall of Fame is a must

We had a one night stay while traveling home to Georgia. Asked for a pull-thru site with easy in/out when I made the reservations, and they delivered. The lady in the office was very friendly and helpful. Park is clean, and well maintained. I imagine if you had a site next to the interstate you would have some road noise, but we were near the entrance and had no problems. There is a metal salvage plant across the street, but the noise from it stops at 5:00. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

On the surface, this looks like a very good park. Friendly staff, clean, shade trees, big friendly, 50 amp hookup, and Domino's will deliver to your site. Nice gravel pull throughs that require just slight leveling. Of course, it's about 5 in the afternoon and I notice the scrap yard across the street that is idle. There is a slight odor of burnt paint in the air. Wellll, at 0730 the scrap yard comes to life with loud equipment, trucks, and crushing metal. Then the smell of burnt paint and metal gets so strong that it burns your eyes, makes it hard to breathe, and caused me to be nauseous. Good park without the scrap yard. With the toxic scrap yard, makes for a good old Love Canal. I was visiting family in Clarksville. Next time, I'll stay in Nashville and commute back and forth. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed overnight and found this park very well maintained and a very friendly staff. Very nice sites and easy to maneuver a big rig in . Would stay here again. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Did not go into town. Only comment is that I-24 north through KY is one of the worst roads I have traveled.

Excellent place for a one night stay, or more if you have things to do in the area. Very attractive, neat and clean park. Easy access to I-24. Groceries, etc., off the next exit four miles away. We were in the front section with water and electric only (we didn't need sewer for only one night) and it turned out to be fortunate because we were the farthest away from I-24. Spaces in the back section with full hook-ups had more noise. Spaces are level with easy in and out. Good wi-fi. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Convenience and a friendly, helpful staff brought us back here for a second stay. Sites are close together with picnic tables. Wi-fi worked pretty well and phone reception was fine. Highway noise didn't bother us but we always run the fan at night. Sites are long enough for a big rig and tow car. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Clarksville is a bustling city with an interesting historic downtown and a winery that offers tastings daily.

This park has easy pull-through level gravel sites that are long enough for most. Each site has a picnic table. The bathrooms were spotless. The park was well-organized and had several trees for shade. The owners were helpful and busy. I recommend calling ahead as the park filled up even on a week night in early May. There is some interstate noise. This was a good overnight stop for us. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This is fairly close to Fort Campbell and Austin Peay University. Clarksville's downtown area is worth a visit.

Easy on/off interstate access. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Level gravel sites. One night sites with water & electric very close together. Highway nose very loud. However, if just passing thru, I'd stay here again. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
