I agree with other comments, but didn't see anyone who used this park as an overnight, which is what we did. It was great. Easy in and out from the interstate. Very easy to navigate inside the park. We really didn't experience much road noise, and only a little from the scrap metal yard. The pull through fit our 40' coach and Honda CRV toad without unhitching. Although a bit pricey, I would highly recommend this place as an overnight. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stopped here as an over night. We had site 45. It was gravel and pull through. We had enough room for our 44' coach and a 18' trailer, and our VW beetle behind the trailer. Really nice level sites. They do have one older tree between each of the pull through sites, in our section. The limbs were high enough not to interfere with the slide outs, and give you some shade. They did have a picnic table at each site., but they were wooden and kinda warped. We did not use the wifi. But all and all, we would stay here again. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park near the highway - level gravel sites with grass. Well kept and friendly staff. We stayed one night and didn't unhook. No cable but TV reception was fine. Nice pool and grounds. Good Wifi. Very quiet. Would recommend. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here almost two weeks as we prepared to move from TN to Alaska. This is our first review and only the third rv park we've stayed in, so our sample size is small! However, we are moving and will be staying in lots of rv parks as we drive to Alaska over the next month.

Overall, this park is great. It was clean, good service, great location to I-24, and the wifi was adequate, in that it worked almost all the time for us.

The pool is nice, the bathrooms were always clean, our only drawback is the shower stalls were a little small. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We think one couple on staff were work campers.

Our site was level and filled by gravel. Despite receiving a few inches of rain, the sites drained fairly quickly - within a few hours.

We would stay here again and would recommend it to others. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Level gravel sites, adequate space between, long pull-throughs.

2nd time here and still a good place to stop for night. Easy off/on to I-24. Staff very pleasant, campground quiet and clean. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at this campground overnight on our way to Gulf Shores, AL from Indiana. The hosts were the nicest people ever. The campground was extremely easy to get to off of interstate 24. It was very clean. The campsite was a pull thru and a full hookup. We enjoyed our stay there very much! We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Noisy park. On one side of the park is a car crusher facility that runs all day, and on the other side of the park is the highway. Bring an extra long hose for the sewer connection as the hookup is at the far end of the site. The park itself was clean and sites are spacious but the noise factor is a big distraction. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground for travelers looking for a place to stay a couple of nights. Well managed and clean. Nice pool area with very neat building attached that has cooking equipment and tables for a group of people. Some sites are close to the interstate and road noise can be annoying. Campground is very well kept up. Noise from I-24 day and night. On the entrance side of the campground there is a salvage and scrap yard so trucks are constantly coming and going during the day. I'd say it was overpriced for the area it was in. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Stopped here so we could have AC on a hot humid night. For overnighters they have a number of pull thru sites near the entrance with water and electric which was all I wanted. Very friendly and helpful staff at checkin. Nice areas to walk the dogs. Didn't try any of the amenities as we were there for only the one night. Metal recycling place across the road is noisy during the day but they don't start until 8:30 or so. Wifi was ok but sluggish until late in the evening. Gas station near the interstate had great diesel prices. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a basic RV park that is very well maintained. The interior roads and sites are all gravel. The management does a good job of keeping adequate quantities of gravel on the roads and sites so that they do not become muddy. The sites are reasonably wide with at least one tree on each site providing for a pleasant amount of shade. The sewer connection is located at the rear of some of the sites requiring a long stinky sleaky to be used which is inconvenient. There is a picnic table at each site. The park does not offer cable TV which lowers the value of the park. For the price charged, I expect cable service. The park does offer WiFi which worked reasonably for e-mail and web browsing. The park is located right on the interstate so there is some road noise. It was not a large distraction for sleeping with the windows closed in our motor home. Overall, the park is neat, clean, and convenient to the interstate. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are numerous places to eat and shop at the Clarksville exit east of the park. The section of I-24 between Nashville and the Kentucky/Tennessee state line is pretty void of truck stops to conveniently purchase diesel for a large RV. You need to stop either in the Nashville area or just past the Kentucky/Tennessee state line.

Stayed 4 nights while visiting our daughter at Ft Campbell. We would have given an Excellent rating, but have to concede there is a fair amount of noise from I-24 and the scrapyard on the other side of the local road. We were not disturbed by either, but if noise is an issue for you and you are here with the windows open, it needs to be considered. Now that is out of the way. Campground is well maintained and clean with a friendly helpful staff. Sites are level and well maintained, with plenty of shade, but not so much as to be a major impediment to Satellite reception. Sites are close but still have plenty of room for sliders/awnings. W/S/E all worked excellent. Campground store is well stocked. WiFi had great coverage, but did get a bit slow during peak usage. There are plenty of stores and services nearby. Very easy access from exit 1, I-24. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very easy access to and in this well kept park with our extra large sized 40'+ big rig RV. Sites in back of park near I-24 have significant traffic noise but middle and front of park were much quieter. AT&T Internet reception fair but Verizon was very strong. Very friendly and helpful staff made our stay very pleasant. We would return. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 2 nights while traveling through the area.

The park is close to I-24 (Exit 1: SR-48, Trenton RD) but there is very little noise from the Interstate. However, there is a metal recycling business across the street that was operating from early morning to evening.

The park was well cared for and landscaped. The pool was closed for the season.

The interior roads and site parking pad are gravel. Some of the roads were narrow with tight turns. Almost all of the sites appeared level even though there was a slight slope to the ground. There is not much privacy between the sites as the sites are close to each other. The pull through sites were long enough for coaches and their toads. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. There was an outside table but no fire pits in the RV area.

The trees around the park & the tree canopy made satellite reception hit and miss depending on site assignment and your dish configuration. The park brochure showed 6 broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.

The provided WiFi was good. There was no cell phone reception (NET10) in the park but there was a pay phone available.

No designated fenced pet area. There were a couple of designed pet areas around the park and there was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads. There were a couple of dumpsters around the park to dispose of waste.

There were a few long term residents. They were in a different area of the park from the short stay residents. The presence of the long term residents wasn't a negative impact on the park.

For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. No structure was identified as a severe weather shelter.

Probably would stay here again if traveling through the area but wouldn't stay for more than a couple of days. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

The Park is lovely. Spaces are all pull through and very long. Amenities are excellent. What is a downside is the constant noise from a busy highway on one side and a huge noisy junk yard that starts up at 7 a.m. on a Sunday morning, on the other side of this relatively small rv park. If it weren't for these two issues, I'd give this park at least a 9 if not a 10 rating. If you stay here, be sure to have a fan to make white noise so that you can sleep. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
