This is a small, country campground run by new owners. The sites are fairly level and roomy. The bath house, though not fancy, was clean, with a secure locking device. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and are doing their best to upgrade the premises. The clubhouse has been freshly painted and it has a new front deck. The free wifi was very good. It's a good place to get away from it all! We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.
Our last night in Tennessee, we chose Lake Breckenridge, Crossville, TN. It is an older park that was just bought in January and needed a lot of tender loving care. The couple who bought it was the camp hosts who worked it last year and when it came on the market they couldn't pass up the chance of buying it. They knew in advance what they were getting into and hit it full steam ahead. Since buying it, he had lost over 50 lbs. And his blood pressure and blood sugars were back down to normal. Shows what some hard work can do for you. There is a lot of work to be done. The camp has quite a bit of the old amenities which need to be improved. But overall we would highly recommend staying here. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.
This is one of my favorite "in the country campgrounds". Quiet location - almost all sites under large oak trees. New owners this year have upgraded the restrooms and the Wi-Fi. At the time of our visit the renovation of the clubhouse was over 80% completed.
Lots of local sightseeing available- and several non-chain restaurants offer interesting dining out experiences.
Not to missed is the Cumberland County Playhouse which offers NY Broadway quality performances. (Sound of Music and Mary Poppins during our stay) This is not a DESTINATION campground, but rather a quiet campground where the laid back atmosphere is the destination. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.
This campground is under new management this year. We have stayed there many times in the past and have found the new manager could care less if a guest is happy. . . . even after driving 20 min from I-40. We will avoid this in the future and use other campgrounds in the area. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $15.00
The location is between Nashville and Knoxville off the I-40. Even though it is several miles off I-40 through beautiful scenery on country roads (not a problem for a Class A), I would stay here again.
The sites are on hard gravel and are level. No problem for large RVs. I didn't see any pull thru's but the back in spaces are wide and long and easy to maneuver into. The internal roads are good. I counted at least 75 sites. A few are in the process of being repaired. The new owners have only been here 3 months.
I got my satellite to work great.
There are plenty of trees, but this time of the year there are no leaves. Phone service showed that I had 2 bars. Internet is the best I have had since I left California. I am close to the office .The shower/bathrooms were freshly painted. There are two washer and dryers. Some sites have cement pads. There are a lot of site with BBQs and picnic tables. We stayed here in out 36 ft motor home. Full hookups. 30 amp. $2 more for 50 amp. Passport America campground. We were allowed to stay 5 days at ½ price. Family owned and working hard at making it a better campground. The club house is still closed, but they are working on it. All other positive reviews from rv parks review are correct. I would give it 5 stars except for the ongoing work to be completed. None of which would cause any problems to campers. The new owners are very friendly and helpful. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Fire Creek Falls SP--- Cumberland Caverns---Burgess Falls SP.
we did not see any of these because of the weather was not to good.

The park itself has fairly nice sites, good shade, decently sized, but the bathrooms were only cleaned once during our 3 week stay and the wifi was a joke. When it wasn't completely unavailable, the page load errors were constant. The clubhouse was closed and being torn down, yet the paper with rules and amenities handed out at check in still listed it as a perk to enjoy with tables, puzzles and a book exchange. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here over 4th of July weekend. We were looking for a quiet place for the weekend and this place fills the bill. At the time, it was a membership campground so you needed a Coast to Coast, AOR or other affiliated membership. The price was $9 per night plus $2 for 50 amp. The staff was friendly and provided a watermelon feed on the 4th of July. The campground is isolated from shopping grocery stores, etc., so bring everything you will need or a tow vehicle. The grounds were clean and the permanent guests were few. This is a quiet restful place. We would stay here again. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate for RPI. Basic RV Park CG with little in the way of amenities. Electric has been upgraded and 50AMP is available. Sites are pretty level & packed rock and gravel. Some sites have concrete patio slabs. Utilities are a reach and some sites share water and power stanchions. Roads into the CG are well marked and decent condition. Breckinridge Rd has one curvy dip which is rough but tolerable. The Restrooms & Showers are locked and one can get a key if you can't use the on board stuff in your RV. Laundry room locks at 5:00 PM when the onsite attendant leaves the park. The CG is clean and neat, well maintained, very quiet and Crossville has all the services and supplies you might need. The rating is for lack of recreational stuff in the park. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The attendant hands out a pile of brochures on local historic sites and points of interest nearby and maps out some of the better off-site places to eat. There is a well stocked book exchange library in the club house. This a very relaxing CG. A good place to catch up or wind down a bit. We would return if our travels bring us back through the area. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
This was a very nice park, but a little remote from the highway. We stayed one night. The owner was very nice. The sites are good. Rate is through Coast to Coast. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is our home park with C2C, price reflects that rate. No real complaints other than the park is due for some upgrades to electrical hookups and the fact that many of the sites have utilities on the "wrong side". Since we have had this problem in the past, had all necessary extensions for sewer, water and electric. Although no fault of the park, there seem to be numerous barking dogs from adjoining neighborhood. We were there 5 nights, dogs barked most of the time during the night. Too bad, as it is located in a somewhat serene setting. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Our rate reflects the RPI amount. We visited during the annual Hwy 127 yard sale event. The CG was very clean and managed well. The road network (a single loop) is easy to move big rigs and 5vrs. The road is with crushed stone and the "back-in" sites were also gravel and not very level but OK. Not sure if all electric connects are the same but we shared a box with two 30amp plugs, some connections were loose and could cause a short, mentioned to management at our departure, they advised it would be serviced. As reported by others the same turns to this rural area but CG signs very well marked. Over all nice CG and we would be happy to return. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.
Park has 3 or 4 turns off hwy 127 but they are well signed. Very helpful and friendly manager, Marilyn, keeps all areas neat and clean. She is also a wealth of information about local attractions and directions to them. There is a common washroom with showers which work very well. Also a coin laundry on site. Sites are large enough and most have some shade trees. Good camping for adults as there are few activites for children. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $10.00
The most friendly manager ever! Thank you! Call for driving directions or visit web site! GPS MAY take you through some roads not friendly for big rigs. This place is a nice place to relax. Some sites TV satellite friendly. I wish they had 50 amp service which would make summer stays cooler for big rigs with 2 or more AC's for hotter days. Nice space between sites, great water pressure, some sites with 10x10 cement step-off pads at door. About 15 miles from Crossville for shopping. I would stay here again anytime! We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.
Part of the Coast to Coast family, we found the park to be really nice, the managers are very friendly. The park layout is in a circle, some sites are level and some are not, they are all gravel. Off the beaten path but great place to spend some time to relax. Not crowded at all. Very clean and run well. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
