The campground itself is small but quaint with a few nice amenities. Restrooms and showers were clean. Lots were very close and offered some shade. Site surface was a concrete pad with gravel and grass. Site had a fire ring, picnic table and patio.

If it weren't for the owners' customer service, I would consider staying here again. It's a husband and wife, and while we had little interaction with the wife, the husband was completely disrespectful and when we told him we were going to write a review, he proceeded to say that he didn't care! I was shocked at how blatantly rude and nonchalant this man was about losing a paying customer! The customer service was absolutely disgusting and I would NOT recommend this campground. We camped at Camp LeConte Luxury Outdoor Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

We booked in July of 2016 for a July 4th 2017 stay. We were told a 4 night minimum due to the 4th falling on Tuesday. This was commensurate with others in the area including the one we stayed at in 2016. We are long time campers and understand minimum stays etc. During our stay we noticed several other campers coming and going. A couple of overnight stays and a few two-night stays. We questioned the owner about minimum stay requirement and why we were mandated to have a 4 day minimum, yet others were not. We got 4 different answers from the male owner, to include denying their ever saying that, and saying we should have looked at their policies when we booked on-line. We didnt book on line, we spoke with his wife/co-owner by phone on the way home from Gatlingburg in July 2016. The kicker is there were two parties in our group and both talked to the wife/co-owner and were told the same thing. We mentioned to the male/co-owner that we would be making a review on RV Park Reviews. He told us "everytime I have a disgruntled customer they threaten to do that....knock yourself out." The campground is decent, but there are many better options in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, moreso when you get hoodwinked when making reservations only to find that others were not held to that standard. We camped at Camp LeConte Luxury Outdoor Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 39 ft motor home. Staff is friendly and helpful, amenities are clean and well maintained. They have a general store which stocks many of the common "emergency" items. Trolley service to Gatlinburg is convenient. Pool is very small, playground is for only the very youngest kids. Entry and exit are quite challenging, but possible. We had a few great campfires and loved watching the fireflies in the nearby woods. Satellite reception is not possible. Cellular voice and data service are spotty at best. Their rates are quite high, even with a "discount", and if you are looking for a bargain, this isn't it. In spite of their pricing and tight camping spots (our 39 ft was as long as the site), it's a fun place to camp. TV reception is acceptable, too. The roads in and out are twisting, turning mountain roads and you should expect a challenging drive on the way up and down, but there's no other way to enjoy the many, many attractions of Gatlinburg. We camped at Camp LeConte Luxury Outdoor Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Gatlinburg has an amazing array of attractions including a world class aquarium, lots of shopping and Ripley's museums. The trolley is $0.50/trip or a one day pass is $2.00 per person. Very convenient to LeConte campground on blue or yellow routes.

Very clean park. Owners courteous. Sites have full hook-up including cable tv (12 channels), a fire ring and also a grill. Sites (especially the pull-thru's) are a bit too narrow for our liking but we managed. I think our site (#4) was probably the narrowest one with not much clearance between our awing and the neighbor's trailer. WiFi is barely tolerable as it kicks you off the network for a few seconds about every 5 minutes. Made it difficult to do on-line transactions. Other neat things at the campground are the "glamping tents" and "tree houses" for those who don't have campers. Campground is very convenient to G'burg as it's only about 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again when we return to G'burg. We camped at Camp LeConte Luxury Outdoor Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here in a 34' fifth wheel in a pull thru site. The site had a concrete patio with picnic table. Site was level with some grass. WiFi worked very well, cable TV was ok but limited on channels. The owners were terrific and willing to help with all our needs. We would definitely stay here again. Tips for other Campers:

Ride the trolley to town. It is the easiest way to get around. You don't have to look for a place to park in the crowded town.

Very small park (20 sites) near Gatlinburg and National Park. Extremely well-kept, clean and neat. Management is a young couple who go overboard to make you feel welcome. Longer trailers and big rigs would find the sites a bit tight but it is doable. Our site was just big enough for our 32' 5th wheel and touches the mountain behind due to slide-out on utility side. Able to park truck in empty space since the park wasn't busy the week before Labor Day. Gatlinburg trolley stop is right in front of the campground. Wi-fi may be the best we have ever had at a campground. Cable is only 10 channels though. ATT worked well here also. Excellent park with great location. Would have stayed longer except they were full for the weekend. We camped at Camp LeConte Luxury Outdoor Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a week to visit the national park and tourist sites in Gatlinburg. The park is outside of town so it is quiet and was wooded next to our site. The staff was very friendly and the park is very clean. They had several commercial washers and dryers in the laundry and the wifi worked well. My daughter loved that there was a pool. The RV park is about 15-20 minutes from the main entrance of the national park and 5 minutes to the Greenbrier entrance. There is a nice grocery store about 2 miles away. The Gatlinburg trolley has a stop in front of the office. My only complaint was that the office/store closed early on several days and we had to go elsewhere to get change for the laundry. Ride the trolley to Gatlinburg so you don't have to pay for parking. The Greenbrier entrance to the national park is 5 minutes east, has hiking trails and is much less busy than the main areas of the park.

One of the nicest campgrounds we've ever been to. Very professional, accommodating management. Extremely clean and well maintained. Small campground but very well laid out. Will and have recommended to friends and family. We'll be back in the area in about a month and will probably stay there then as well. This is an older campground that the owners have started to re-new. The new part is very nice; they have done a good job starting over. The only issue we had, it is very close quarters, and trying to get around can be a little difficult. If you come in from the side, near the high school, you need to pay close attention to the small sign telling you which direction to turn in the campground depending on the size of camper you have. We did not see the sign and of course turned the wrong way, going towards the office. With our size 5th-wheel there was no choice but to go around and try to cut the corner to get back out, go up the hill to the high school, use their parking lot to turn around and come back and enter the campground the other direction. Our neighbors had just arrived before us and they had the same issue. Another camper came later at night after dark and did the same thing. Another problem, there never seemed to be anyone available that could assist you. The only person in the office was just a young (possible high-school age) person that did not have authority to assist with anything. We were using the washer and dryer, accidentally set the temp incorrectly so opened the door to switch the clothes between the washers and then realized, the washer will not start up again. Asked if it was possible for them to reimburse us ($4.00 per load) so we could finish the wash (we did not have any more quarters) and they could not. Those two things aside, this is a nice, clean campground close to Gatlinburg. If you turn the right direction entering, you will not have any trouble getting into your site. The laundry, bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. We did not use the pool but it appeared to be well kept. You can catch the trolley into Gatlinburg if you choose right from the campground. Kudos for the work they have done so far on this campground. We camped at Camp LeConte Luxury Outdoor Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Watch closely for sign when entering to turn correct direction for camper size. Large campers do not turn towards the office, they turn towards the back of the campground and go around. Also, the front entrance is only accessible from one direction. There is a boulevard that prevents you from entering if you are coming from Gatlinburg. Take the next turn (school) and there is another entrance. Signs are not very obvious. Enjoy! This is a nice little campground.
