Upon check in, they have someone guide you to your site, our guide then offered to help me get connected. The interior roads and sites were gravel, with picnic table. All the connections were easy to locate and easy to get connected. The employees were pleasant and helpful. We were here for one night, and they were having a cook out and live music, for Labor Day. Satellite TV and AT&T cell service worked well. Our OTA antenna is out, so don't know about live TV. The Wi-Fi, like most places, worked well, until it started rain, so we switched to our AT&T hotspots, which worked well. We would stay here again. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I don't know what a park should have to call itself a resort, but I would not use this term here ... retreat perhaps. But it is not always the facilities that make a park, it is its people and that is where this park shines. Live entertainment, helpful, friendly people. Adequate FHU sites, albeit it a bit close. I'll stay here again every time I'm in the area. The park had been flooded by a freak storm 2 days before we got there, with several feet of water that flooded several RVs, but if it weren't for the high water traces on the travel trailers that weren't able to be moved, you'd have never known it. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sept 2017 Friendly helpful staff, guided to site and even helped unhook toad in the rain! Between the railway and the highway, but only a couple of trains during the night, close to Nashville but without the Nashville inflated prices. Clean facilities, FHU drive thru on level gravel, picnic table, small cafe serves food and meals lunch and dinner. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pros: 1.) It's not $100 a night, like so many parks near Nashville. This is a big deal, especially if you're just passing through. I don't need to pay to be close to an attraction or a lake when I'm staying a total of 16 hours. 2.) The staff is super nice, friendly, and helpful. 3.) The connections are good, appear to be fairly new, are well placed, and work well. 50 and 30 amp electric are available ($2 upcharge for 50 amp), water and sewer 4.) The sites are generally level. Cons: 1.) There is a railroad track on one side of the park and a major highway on the other. Yes, the train was blowing its horn the night we stayed. This was a huge problem for my wife and would be the only real reason we may not return. 2.) The park's layout is very haphazard. One site may be one direction, the next 2 another, then it changes again. Each site seems to have a unique approach. (They do escort you to the site, so it's not a concern, it's just odd looking.) 3.) While we appreciate the level sites, it would be really nice if they concreted just a few pull-thru sites and offered them at a premium for those of us in big rigs just needing an overnight. 4.) I didn't see a site that you could realistically pull thru without disconnecting first. 5.) Many of the sites are short and either back in or pull in, so I recommend calling ahead for a reservation. We saw some difficult set ups because of this. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a family-and-close-friends-run RV park. Without a doubt, these are the nicest, most helpful people we have met in our many years of traveling. We had a problem and, literally, everyone jumped in to provide help and solutions. For this reason, we would stay ONLY at this park when in the Nashville area. Now for the info re: the park itself: Much less expensive than the other Nashville parks. While slightly further out of town, Grayline comes there for the same price as elsewhere. Sites are level gravel FHU. There is a road on one side and a train on the other, so the middle of the park is the quietest. The internal roads are large and easy to navigate for big rigs. The pull-thru's are near the road so we chose a back-in near the middle of the park. It was easy to get into for a big rig; well designed. They have live entertainment Thurs-Sat. Wifi was weak; not always usable. Sites have grass in between neighbors and picnic tables. We definitely would stay here again when in the Nashville area. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Grayline tours are good and can be obtained at the RV park. Skip the City Tour and instead take the Hop on/Hop off tour; much more informative. Grand Ole Opry is great; don't miss it! Gaylord Opryland (hotel) is very worth seeing; can park in the shopping center for free and walk over. General Jackson steamboat is entertaining. Parking downtown is expensive. Try Uber (RV park has instructions & discount). Very fun!

Nice place to stay near Nashville. Owners and staff are great. On site store and restaurant. Live music several times a week. About 1 mile from I-65 so good place to stop. There is train noise if that bothers you. Level gravel pull thru and back in full hookup 30/50 amp sites. Good WIFI and cell service with many local channels if you get behind a tree as we did. Will stay here again! We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The staff are excellent and very helpful. The park is laid out a bit odd, but it seems to work OK. There are LOTS of trains very close to the campground, so you hear them often. The sites vary, but most are fairly level and graveled. The only area to walk a dog is out by the main entrance, but you can walk them anywhere in the park. Good electric and water connections, it was nearly 100 degrees when we camped there and never had any problems with utilities. They have live music several days of the week and you can get a tour bus into Nashville. Cost to stay here was less than half of the places on Music Row and I felt it was just as nice...with better staff. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

You can enter the park from two streets. When you get there...it looks like you need to turn in quickly depending on the direction you are coming from, but you can continue around the intersection and enter there too.

We stayed here for five nights and used it as our base to get our satellite antennae replaced. The folks here couldn't be nicer. We were unable to get a pull through space, which is always troublesome as we have a tow dolly. But, the owner and an associate led us to our site and then helped us disconnect and store the dolly. That hasn't happened in our two years of full timing. The park is conveniently located north of Nashville in the small town of Goodlettsville. The park is big and spaces are adequately apart. Services are good but the office is a hoot. Not only the usual RV stuff, but a kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to order. Not a huge menu but just fine for a quick meal. Soft serve ice cream and live music several times a week round out the services. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Had to stop our travels and quickly find a spot after our leveling jacks on motorhome gave a warning signal that something was wrong. Found this highly rated park and called to see if any availability on a Saturday, perhaps a site with a pull-thru. They were almost full, but they found one left. Our GPS wasn't working well. Between several members of staff, they got us there from 15 miles away. When we arrived, we were welcomed by many staff with one showing us to our site. Offered to help us hookup, but we did ourselves. Gave us the number of a local RV repair specialist and they called him directly when we couldn't reach him. Staff constantly checking the campsites and talking with guests. Karoke on Thurs and Sat nights. $2 for a soft serve ice cream cup/cone. Campsites close, but staff wanted to make sure everything OK with our site--no problems, we were so thankful they had one. Unlike some other reviewers, enjoyed the trains coming through--were not that noisy. Thank you all for helping us. Would absolutely stay here again! We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for two weeks. Family owned park and the owners and employees are wonderful. We had an issue with our power on a Sunday and the owner came right out and fixed it for us with no questions. They have a small cafe and the food was good. They also have live music in the store 3 nights a week. The wifi was good with a fairly constant connection. Level gravel sites with shade trees for most sites. For full disclosure there is a train line close by but no train whistles and it didn't prevent us from sleeping at night. They will assist in making your reservations for Gray Line tours of Nashville and a shuttle will pick you up. 15 minutes to the Grand Old Opry and about the same to Nashville (depending on traffic on the freeway. Thanks To the owners and staff for being such wonderful hosts. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We only stopped here for the night, but it was 1/3 of the cost of the one down the street. Very nice people, and our spot was level. Clean bathrooms, and there was music on the back porch in the evening. Would absolutely stay again. We got an Uber into Nashville and back with ease. Very full park, but wifi was great, and that makes everyone in our family happy! We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

FHI, gravel pad with grassy area, picnic table. Fire pit upon request. Not spacious by any means but not crammed in. Neighbors on both sides and rear. By far the best thing here are the staff - very friendly and very helpful. Train runs directly adjacent to the park so go for a lot as far as possible from it. Didn't get to partake but have a small onsite restaurant and live music on weekends and a karaoke nite. Partial shade. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cafe has a small menu. We got takeout our first night it was good. Small playground and that's it. Sites are very close. We didn't care since we planned to spend our time in Nashville, not at the park. If you plan to spend significant time there and have children you'd probably want more space and amenities. There is a train track close but it didn't bother us. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Park was easy to find and interior roads are gravel but good. There is wifi at our site but some sites may not pull it in. When I asked about wifi at site they were honest and said some did not have it. I requested a wifi site and they were able to accommodate me. Site was level, utilities are all convenient. There is no cable tv and our antenna said we had several stations, however, we were only able to get ABC & CBS and channels we really didn't want. The picture pixelated and sound came and went so watching the news was almost impossible. Did I mention trains? Park sits beside a very active track and some trains sound like they are coming right through our living room. Closing doors and AC doesn't help very much. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Nashville is easy to get to. Head for Broadway for the honkey tonk bars/restaurants. We were advised while there to get out before 2:30 p.m. unless we were planning to stay for the evening. Office staff start leaving downtown after 2:30 and it is chaos. Traffic seems to be heavy on interstates all day.
