Campground is approximately 12 miles north of Nashville. Park staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area attractions. Campsite had a grassy area with a picnic table and cable TV. Restrooms and showers were clean. LP gas is available in park. Shuttle into Nashville stops at the campground. We had two RVs; one was a motorhome. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Purchase Grand Ole Opry tickets ASAP; stars of the Grand Ole Opry perform every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday night. Parking downtown is reasonable and in walking distant of Nashville's Honky Tonk Highway, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the Ryman Auditorium, Wild Horse Saloon, and much more. The famous Blue Café is very small and hard to find, but a must see if you are a "Nashville" fan. Take your time and enjoy the area.

My major compliant is that my RV was way too big for this park.

They knew the size when I made my reservation, yet took my money and accepted the reservation. Once I left the office and pulled into the park I was committed and couldn't turn around ,the road thru the was very narrow really couldn't adequately handle my size. My so called pull thru was a wide space on the left side of the road with a fence in front of me. I worried all nite if I would be able to make the turn to exit. If you a 40 foot rig stay away from this place . It's made for TTs and class Cs . I left at 6 AM so couldn't tell office what I thought of them. They have those white painted posts next to the road and I seen a few days later where my bay door scrapped one. Thank you KOA north for the reminder of your totally inadequate park. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Stayed here overnight. Extremely narrow roads and small sites. Sites are setup for the era of 25 ft. travel trailers. Thankfully no one was parked on the end of the lot next to us so we could exit in the morning. Utilities worked but the wifi was worthless. Don't think we will ever stay here again. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Shower curtain too thin; kept blowing in, drain was plugged, not much hot water, lights kept dimming. Over priced for what you get. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

A typical KOA - not spectacular but certainly acceptable, especially for a stop-over. Sites are decent size and level. I had a pull-through that was easy to get into, but a little tricky getting out. Some of the access roads are twisty and it takes care to avoid the trees and edges! The highway runs at the back of the park, but I really didn't notice it. Camped in a 35 foot 5th wheel. Site 102 is level with slightly tight pull through access due to narrow sites, tree, & wooden deck. Sites are gravel with grass. Most sites are close & some are “buddy-like”; i.e., decks face each other. Convenient to I 65, but also lots of traffic noise day & night. Laundry & shower houses are clean. Did not use pool, but looked clean. Grassy playground. Staff are friendly & helpful about local sites to visit. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Small RV park conveniently located off I-65. We asked for a pull-through since we were staying one night. This is an older park with narrow roads but doable. Staff were pleasant and happy to now be part of KOA. Better TV reception with our antenna than their cable. We would go back and perhaps take advantage of their Nashville shuttle and bus tours that pick up guests at the campground. This was a typical KOA. There was nothing spectacular about it, but it did have a pool and park area for the kids. We had a back-in site close to the entrance and there was barely enough room to park our tow car. The staff were friendly. There were quite a few permanent residents at the back of the campground, and personally the sites were a bit too close for me. I would stay here again only if I could not find something closer to Nashville. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park a handful of times over the past 4 years and have liked it. Our main reason for this park is that it is near our friends who live outside of Nashville, however the park is not far from all the attractions of Nashville. This year the park became a KOA and with that they increased their rates by $5. The park is nicely maintained but is a little tight with its roads and spaces. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. In the pull thru space we request we just have enough room to put our 40 foot fifth wheel and our pickup. There are lots of trees so the shade is nice if that is what you are looking for. We have found a couple pull thru spots that are satellite friendly so we request those. Roads are paved and the sites are gravel with grass in between. They have weekly music and dinners along with a shuttle to Nashville attractions. Wi-Fi is free and works well and they provide a good lineup of cable channels. They do have about 40% long term residents but it does not look trashy. Going with KOA means higher prices which I am disappointed in as now it is not as good a value, especially if you are not a KOA member. For us it works because of our friends. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Good KOA campground. Very Friendly. Level gravel sites. Full hookups with cable and 50 amp electric. Near Nashville and well maintained. Entry roads are tight but sites are good size. Has a pool and good store. Would stay here again anytime. Price reflects Good Sam discount. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Just recently became KOA but also honor Good Sam. Very friendly owners and employees. Nice large sites, plenty room for our 40 ft motor home AND our toad - great off leash dog area - quite a few extended stay units. Close to Nashville and all the tourist stuff. Stayed 3 nights. Clean and easy to get to as well as to get to downtown. People are super nice and helpful. Grounds are well groomed. Some traffic noise from freeway at back of facility but does not keep you awake. Stayed here before and will for sure stay again. Have checked out other parks in area and this is the best. Rate reflects a KOA discount and points used. KOA tends to be more per night but this place is worth a little extra. Very helpful check in employees, no problems checking in. Interior roads are very narrow. Parked us next to a fence and behind the fence was a house with a very angry dog that barked all night. Next morning when we wanted to leave, an employee had parked the company Gator in front of our RV and we could not drive out without running over their deck. We asked employee to please move the Gator and he said just back up. Well with towing a car you cannot back up without unhooking. He did move the Gator so we could get out of our spot. Not a good location for just overnight stays as they are set up for more longer term campers. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We had planned on staying a week, but left after one night. The pull through site we were assigned was very tight to get into and out of, even though the sites around us were not occupied. The campground was run down and dirty, a dead bird was on the ground in the site next to us. Our site and many others have what they call a patio, but it is actually two warped, wooden palettes, very dangerous and in an inconvenient location. We observed some sites where the campers could not open their awnings because the camper adjacent to them was so close. There is one bathhouse for the whole campground located at the camp office, too far for some to walk to. We left because this camp was not as described on their website, and we did not feel comfortable staying here. Now known as Nashville North KOA, this camp was known as Nashville Country RV Park when we made the reservations. We stayed here in a travel trailer. Nice enough KOA. Seasonal sites are fairly well spaced but the others (pull-through) are rather close to each other. Nice grounds, connections no problem, conveniently close to the highway (but not close enough to be overly noisy); exiting toward the Interstate is a little tricky for big rigs, go slow. The dog-walking area is not the largest but very thoughtful and pleasant, near the creek walking path. Would certainly stay here again for an overnighter. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.
