Oct 2018 - $35.00
Wish I could give 11 stars...can't say enough about manager and his staff. Helped me out when my fifth wheel battery failed, lent me tools, very friendly. Campsite had a nice view and you could walk about 100 feet to a great view. Internet was strong. Pull through site was easy to manage. These folks went out of their way to make me feel comfortable at all times. It's what other RV parks should model themselves after. - lesstraveledroad
Oct 2018 - $37.00
I can agree with most of what the others have said about this RV park. It is a beautiful setting with a view over many hills and valleys. It is very well maintained with seasonal decorations. I should have asked when I made reservations about the price but I assumed that it would be what was quoted on their website $30. When I arrived I was charged almost $37 per night even after I mentioned the website stated $30. The distance going out there and up the 8% grade up the mountain had me settle for this higher amount. If they want to charge this much they really should advertise it factually. The gravel drives and sites were done nicely but I did have to put 5" of blocking under my front tires to be level. This park is designed for self contained units as it only has a single restroom and shower in the office. This was not a problem for us as we use our own facilities. We had a 40' mh w/ toad. It is 23 miles to Manchester and 26 miles to McMinnville. - JAWS
Jun 2018 - $30.00
This is a great place to stay if you are planning to visit the Jack Daniel's distillery and other sights around Lynchburg and Tullahoma, Tn. This park is aptly named. The campground sits on a hilltop and the view is simply beautiful. The grounds are very clean, the sites are level, and the utilities are nicely situated. Our power never fluctuated and the water is nice and cool. The sites could be a bit further apart, but we had no problems extending our slides and awnings on both sides when we set up our 44' motorhome. Being able to sit on the dock, over the pond, watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee and my dog, made my days. We loved the peace and quiet of this park, along with the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The owners could not be more friendly or helpful. We will definitely be back this way again. - glenstmary

Park is on top of mountain no cell service only wifi calling. Pick up 16 Tv channels. Park is clean ,quiet - Soup
Aug 2018 - $18.00
The rate reflects a month-long stay and includes charges for electric. We truly enjoyed our stay at this park in the mountains. Our reservation and check-in process was smooth and the owners are very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of information about local activities in the Park Office, as well as a camp store with necessities. Our site (15) and the surrounding sites were level, but some sites do have a steep pull up that may pose a problem for bigger rigs. We observed that the owners make every effort to put bigger rigs in the flattest sites to avoid issues. Navigating the gravel roads in the park was a bit tight, but manageable. Hookups were in great shape and easy to access. Satellite reception was great, few local TV channels were available. We spent most of our evenings enjoying the fire pit, the night sky (not much light pollution so you can really see the stars), and the cool evenings. This park has, by far and away, the best wi-fi we have experienced in a park. It's fast and reliable. Verizon cell phone service was spotty, but the owners have a phone outside of the office for use if needed. The park is in a remote and picturesque setting, but you're not far at all from the activities at Fall Creek Falls SP (2o minutes), Sparta (30 minutes), and Chattanooga ( 1 hour). The maintenance of the park is top notch. The grass is cut regularly and gravel for the roads and sites is kept groomed. The game room should keep kids busy all day with air hockey, pool, foosball, a large TV, and board games. They also have a ping-pong table and cornhole boards. All facilities are kept spotless. This is one of those places you can relax, enjoy the views, and still be close to a variety of attractions. Be sure to follow the directions on the website to get to the park. If not, you could end up coming up a very steep and windy mountail road with significant switchbacks. Great stay! - Buckeyefan4
May 2018 - $28.00
We stayed for a week at this postcard pretty RV Park an hour north of Chattanooga. The gravel sites are level, although my site was 'crowned' and my auto-level took some adjusting. No big deal. They have a game room with a pool table, foosball, air hockey and many board games, plus a large screen TV hooked up to satellite TV. They do have a camp store with the necessities. Everything is neat and spotless. This RV Park is in the mountains. It's beautiful but remote. Internet is excellent but no cell phone service, however they do have a public (voip?) phone for local or long distance calling. No cable but the rooftop antenna brought in the basics. We enjoyed a relaxing, quiet week here and would definitely return. - Halfmast
Aug 2012 - $25.00
We went to visit and look this campground over, and the owner gave us a very detailed tour. Talk about friendly! We had driven to this park 5 or 6 years ago, only to drive away and put it on our "do not go here" list. We thought we'd check it out once again, and we were very pleasantly surprised! The park is clean, showers and bathrooms extra clean. The cabins are very well appointed. The activities list goes on and on, and they are very motorcycle friendly. Visit the site and have a look at the pictures. They're honest pictures that give a true reflection of the feel of the park. I would give them a much better score if they had more sewer sites than they do. - TaylorShopping
Oct 2015 - $40.00
We had a water site and it was not worth the $40.00 it cost . As stated before, water is a scum pond. Lots of noise in morning. A lot of long-term sites. - This Old Man
Oct 2015 - $31.00
Not sure if I should even give this park a 3. Lots of long termers that live full time. If you want to sleep in, forget it - there's motorcycles and loud trucks leaving early in the a.m. There is NO cable unless you want to make a $100 deposit for the box. And you don't pick up anything over the air.
By the time we realized the paper the office gave us didn't have a WiFi code on it, was too late for us to go to the office and ask. Couldn't call as there is NO cell signal in the park.
The restaurant is only open on Saturday nights.
This part of the lake needs attention. Green algae way out in to the water.
The putt putt course had caution tape all around it. The pool was closed. The roads are not in good shape. No picnic tables at the sites. Odd layouts for hookups. You could tell at one time this park could have been a destination with lots to do, but it's worn and thread bare now.
Be very careful driving in and leaving as the road is basically single lane with ditches right on the edge.
Why did we stay here? The park where we wanted to stay was full, and we needed to be in the area. We would not stay here again - if we needed to be in the area & could not get our preferred park, we'd stay farther away & drive more. - 3catstravel
Jul 2012 - $30.00
RV Park is set back away from traffic, very very quiet, sites are spacious, cable with zillion channels, long termers are nice, water front sites are for overnites in summer, but river view still there for other sites inside rows. Staff are excellent, Joy in particular!! Pool is nice, marinas on the river, with boat rentals and cabin rentals. I had a problem with a work contract there in Chatanooga and the manager was gracious enough to give me a refund, they didn't have to do that, but they did. Sure the geese are around but all you have to do is hose down your site, they stay on the river and come ashore to walk around. Some of the sites don't yet have the new cable connections in but the staff are in the process of completing this. All in all its a great place with mountains on each side of the marina, so cell coverage is scanty, but I had no problem with their WIFI and I was pretty far back, its an issue they try to work on constantly. I definitely will try to come back just to relax!! - Ms Mary
Jun 2018 - $20.00
An amazing peice of property that could have so much potential. $20 a night for electric and water for our RV. We've always wanted to stay here because it looks so pretty when driving by on I-24, but what a disappointment. The bathhouse is an embarrassment. The light doesn't work, there is trash all over the place. No door on the stall. No paper. The garbage doesn't look like it's been picked up in a week. Really sad because the property could be so lovely. - Harbinger77
May 2017 - $18.00
This campground is on a peninsula in the Nickajack Lake/Tennessee River and is a prime location for those who like to fish or kayak with boat ramps, fishing piers and boat trailer parking. I did not see a lot of geese or droppings. It has a lot of seasonal campers but the ones we met were all friendly. It also has a lot of tents especially along the water. It may be difficult to find an available site in the summer because of the seasonal campers. I was able to reserve a site by phone in May. The office for checking in is a little tricky to find due to lack of signage and is in the middle of the park up on a hill. I recommend that you go to their website (www.marioncountypark.com) and print a map of the campground so that you can see which roads to take. It appears that the people who manage the campground live in a yellow mobile home which is where you check in. The dump station is near the office. There are 2 bathhouses. The one by the office is new and has 2 personal rooms with 1 shower, 1 sink and 1 toilet. The other one is very old with only 1 shower, 1 sink and 1 toilet. There is no sewer at the campsites and not all of the sites have 50 amp. The sites looked level, pads are gravel, only a few have a picnic table. There are fire rings all over the park. You can see this campground from I-24 but the road noise did not bother us at all. It is easy to get to from I-24 exit 158 which has a Loves's Travel gas station and restaurants. There are beautiful views of the water and mountains. The list of rules says no alcoholic beverages. The only complaint that I have with this park is that it has low water pressure. - Lini
Apr 2017 - $20.00
We arrived in our 40 ft RV and were a little confused which way we needed to go as there is a sign for tent campers and one for RV camping. We thought "we're RV camping, so let's go that way". Wrong. We had to go up to the office where it said tent camping. Anyway, the campground is very nice with decent sized spaces. We were in space 29 which has a fire pit and a nice view of the river. There are a few geese here, but nothing to gripe about. The only real negative I have is the trash left laying around. The fire pit had cans and cigarette butts thrown in. There was also trash thrown all around one set of trash bins. I cleaned both up in an effort to make it nicer for the next person. The shower/restroom area was so-so. I've seen better, but it was ok. We may come back again. - Jeannette E
Oct 2018 - $32.00
This is a very large state park that has everything....our site was big but like most of the sites they are a little to a lot unlevel so bring your blocks or 2 x 12's, but don't let that keep you from this campground....services were all fine, ATT cell signal was good and they have WiFi thru Tangonet, which is free or they have plans if u need to stream....we got several ota channels....the restrooms were clean and the showers had such great water pressure that you don't need soap, the water will blast the dirt away...they sell wood at the check-in and stores or they will let you collect wood from around the park that is down and cut up...each site has a picnic table and fire ring...the park has everything you want or need, stores, pool, restaurant, snack bar, Trails hiking and biking, falls, swimming, fishing and a lot of peace and relaxation.....they park does show some age and could use some maintenance but don't let it discourage you...we will be back if in the area.....I like the idea of each camping site has their own trash can that they come around and collect, staff was friendly and there is a camping site for all types here..... - smoky40
Oct 2018 - $32.00
My family loved camping at Fall Creek Falls. Lots to do for all ages including hiking, fishing, craft beer at the general store, multiple playgrounds, golf, and places to just relax. Had to work to get level at our campsite, which is the only reason I didn't give this place a 10. But still, our campsite was spacious and private. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later. - VolFan9183
Sep 2018 - $30.00
Very big campground with LOTS to do. Sites are varied as far as shade and level. We had a pull through in A loop that we could not get into and get level or use slide and awning. They transferred us to another site that was a pull through and was spacious and shady. We had to use blocks to get level and the asphalt pad had a little bit of a drop off. Almost all the rigs were blocked to get level. Looked like D loop had larger sites when we drove through. Friendly staff. Bathroom/shower clean with hot water. Lots of tent campers when we were there and the kids were having a blast riding bikes and playing in a large grassy area where the deer liked to roam in the early am. Nice pool, shopping village, grill/cafe. Come in from hwy 111..NOT hwy 30. We followed the signs and they brought us in through a ridiculous windy narrow road on hwy 30. Lots of hiking available for all levels of expertise. 2 suspension bridges. Beautiful Falls. - Jan Orlando
Feb 2018 - $28.00
This is a nice campground. It is by a lake and a public park. We were able to run and swim our dog early morning without a leash. The park is clean. There are some long-term rigs there. I wouldn't say it handles big rigs very well--at least not 40' motorhomes! We pulled in after dark...I would not recommend unless you are familiar with the park! Their website's directions are not correct so be cautious! We tried a couple sites before deciding on one. Pads are gravel and soft (maybe just because it is early spring?) Our front jack went in about 6 inches. The pull-thrus are half-circles so if someone is in "front" of you your ability to pull out of your site could be very tight. There is no sewer at the sites...only dump station. Overall, I think it would be a great park for smaller rigs. - Gma Linda
Sep 2017 - $30.00
Love this park. This was our first time here since its 1.5hr out from our house. Very friendly staff also making sure everything was ok. Plenty of room for our kids to play safely and a huge bonus was the big playground area. Lots of area to fish which my husband loved. They had a big fire pit at every lot. Also a pole to hang a lantern if you needed one. Right off the interstate and close to a local Walmart if you forgot anything. Only thing that I personally don't like is they don't take reservations and do anything online. BUT WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK - Campingfamily4life
Sep 2016 - $28.00
This is a very nice, clean campground located on Nickajack Lake/Tennessee River. Friendly management that were very accommodating! I have a small Casita TT, but the park could accommodate up to the largest Class A, I'm sure. Since I was only staying for the night and not even unhooking, the manager took me to a pull through site looking right at the lake. It was so pleasant, I hung around until almost noon the next morning! Electric and water hookups at sites, dump station on site. Perfect if traveling through because it is literally 2.5 miles off of I-24. They are open year round except for two weeks in January. They don't officially take reservations but if you know that you are coming in that no, you can call them and they will hold one for you. I will definitely stay there again overnight and hopefully for a few days sometime! - coosa
