1 Park near Harrison, Tennessee
Aug 2015 - $20.00
Popular and large state campground. Area A is the most up-to-date with new paving, modern bathrooms and some waterfront sites. Workers say the B and C areas are due for upgrades heading into 2016. Area D is primitive camping and designated online as "tent only". The park seems stricter about keeping vans and Class B's out of this area compared with other campgrounds. Small camp store sells ice and other supplies but get firewood before you come into the park. - RVNed

Check was at 4 we arrived a little early, tried calling park ranger since office was closed no answer. Waited till ranger showed up along with 2 other campers , told we could of just went back to our site. Very nice new facilities, 8 private baths with showers. We used this as base camp to do site seeing. Some sites are very spacious others are very close. - Steph and Jim

Had stayed here previously and would not have returned but heard they had done a lot of work on the campsites. We stayed in Section A on the water. Had a newly paved 50A site that was level and long for a 40' MH. No sewer but dump station nearby. All restrooms & showers are single, private entrance. They have plans to re-do the other sections in the near future.
There was no one at the Ranger Station to "Check-In" but we knew which site was ours don't know how it would work if you didn't have a reservation. Not a lot of rule enforcement and didn't see many Rangers. Great place for boaters and fishermen - we will return. - Bellman
