Check was at 4 we arrived a little early, tried calling park ranger since office was closed no answer. Waited till ranger showed up along with 2 other campers , told we could of just went back to our site. Very nice new facilities, 8 private baths with showers. We used this as base camp to do site seeing. Some sites are very spacious others are very close. - Steph and Jim
Had stayed here previously and would not have returned but heard they had done a lot of work on the campsites. We stayed in Section A on the water. Had a newly paved 50A site that was level and long for a 40' MH. No sewer but dump station nearby. All restrooms & showers are single, private entrance. They have plans to re-do the other sections in the near future.
There was no one at the Ranger Station to "Check-In" but we knew which site was ours don't know how it would work if you didn't have a reservation. Not a lot of rule enforcement and didn't see many Rangers. Great place for boaters and fishermen - we will return. - Bellman
Very nice state park campground. We were in area A, site 37, and all sites in our area were newly paved. Our site which was lake front has a nice metal fenced patio area. Several of the lake front sites had this. The bath house also looked newly built and featured 8 private baths with the sink, toilet and shower in each. They were ADA accessible and the showers featured a fold up bench with upper and lower shower heads. No Wi-Fi, but they are in the process of installing it. The towers are there already. Good cell service. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Papa Johns delivers to the campsite! - joyrider
