Overall Rating:

Very popular campground on shore of J. Percy Priest reservoir. Almost all sites had good shape, great spacing between sites. Interior road paved and easy to navigate, and most sites I saw were very long, paved, and level. Each site had very nice and spacious patio area of fine crushed stone, with fire ring and picnic table, plus a small movable high table for cooking or other utility purposes. Was pleasantly surprised to see maintenance crew had raked patio clean, leaving fine lines like a Japanese meditation garden, nice touch. 50A power was stable for 3 nights, and Verizon cell signal was very good, as was over the air TV channel choices. Would have stayed here longer, but weekend was booked up even though I had made my reservations just over 2 months ago. Clean and well maintained bathroom and shower facilities, and nice, separate beach and boat launch areas on waterfront. Not a bad place to base exploring nearby downtown Nashville from. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Not a whole lot to do in immediate area, but J. Percy Priest dam is worth a visit. Trailhead to nice, but hilly, Stones River Greenway bike path is in parking area whose entrance is across street from dam visitor center. Ticks here, and in nearby Cooks recreation area hiking trails, were very bad this time of year, be prepared.

Friendly staff, sites are inspected and raked or blown off after each use. Sites are level and spacious. A few sites are arranged in pairs for families or friends camping together. Beautiful and quiet facility, just minutes from Nashville. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

This park is convenient to Nashville on J. Percy Priest Lake. Beautiful paved sites, views of the water and plenty of shade. Only 58 sites so make reservations well in advance because this park is very popular. It was perfect for a great visit with our grand daughter in Nashville We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

We have a 38' 5th wheel and choose pull through site #59 from the picture on the reservation website. It doesn't look too bad except it doesn't show the curve or trees on the driver side. It took us 45 minutes to maneuver into this site. If you have a large rig do NOT choose any of the pull through sites. That being said it is a beautiful park with spacious sites on the lake. The park was full on a weekday in April so reservations are suggested. If we're ever in the area we will come again. The only reason I gave it a 9 was because of the misleading picture on the website. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful, but small campground located on J. Percy Priest Lake. We were in site 36, a nice level back in site with lovely water views of the lake from the very large sitting area. All sites are asphalt. Bathroom was older and fairly clean. Showers and laundry are available but we didn't use them. Dump station is located right next to the gatehouse, but we chose not to use it as it proved too challenging to get into for our 40' fifth wheel (it's a hard right turn with a telephone pole near the entrance).

The park has a beach area and nice playground for kids, along with a boat launch and lots of places to fish around the lake. There's no hiking or biking trails in this campground, nor is there a campground store. All sites are water/electric only. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice large sites. Bathrooms were clean and showers hot. They only have 4 pull thru sites and they were nice as well. Site had a nice size fire pit, picnic table and small table near pit to use for getting your grilling stuff together and such. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful wooded campground with spacious shady spots. We stayed a total of 6 nights in spots 5, 42, and 25. We liked each spot. The lake is clean with a nice sandy beach swimming area. There is also a very nice playground. We enjoyed riding bicycles. We used the bath house everyday and it was always clean. They have a washer and dryer behind the bath house. It costs 1.00 to wash and 1.00 to dry. I used these because we stayed 2 extra days. You will need quarters for them, there is not a change machine. All sites are paved. Each has a picnic table, fire pit with grate, and lantern pole. Each has water and electric but no sewer hookups. There is a boat ramp with parking area. The staff was nice and helpful. We will stay here again when visiting the Nashville area. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited the Nashville Zoo, Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, Belmont Mansion, and Belle Meade Plantation. It usually took us between 22 to 35 minutes to get there. I recommend using the avoid highway option on your gps. It seems like there is always heavy traffic.

Overall Rating:

This is an Army Corp of Engineer's campground and they do things right! Whenever we travel, our first choice for campgrounds is a COE. This is a lovely park on a lake and the sites are all large, shaded and woodsy. You feel like you're really a part of nature here. We weren't technically on water front, but our site was right across from the beach area so we had a beautiful view of the lake. It was September and we were there for four nights during the week so the campground wasn't full of families/children. Our site was level and felt very private. There is considerable space between the campsites. Our space had plenty of room for our trailer, the tow vehicle and two more cars. The sites have a stand up grill and a large concrete picnic table. We had family over for lunch and used the table. Downside was the concrete seats were rough on our legs so we had to cover them with beach towels. No biggie. The bathrooms were a disappointment. The one closest to me that I used was in a concrete room with two stalls. There were lots of bugs/spiders in it. There was another bathroom, but I never went into it. It may have had a shower...I just don't know. I would highly recommend this campground and would most definitely stay here again. There's a lot to this park that we didn't partake in but I imagine that families with kids would have a blast here. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.

What a great place. No sewer and tight dump station or would have rated a 10. A few low branches to look out for. Some sites are right on the water with a beautiful view. No WiFi Verizon ok. Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this beautiful COE Campground twice before over the last 6 years. It is consistently well managed by the hosts and crew. This is a great alternative to commercial campgrounds in the Nashville area. The campground is situated on Percy Priest Lake and offers lakeside camping, a swimming beach, and a boat launch. There are a wide variety of sites including some absolutely beautiful lakefront sites. Almost all the sites are nicely separated from others with deep driveways. Many campers were using satellite dishes out near the roadside. It is a very well designed campground about 30 minutes from downtown attractions. It is a very popular location and reservations are necessary well in advance. It is located near I-40 east of Nashville. If you are passing through and need only one night, give them a call as some sites are available for single overnight stays. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.

This is the second time staying in this campground. We love this place and especially for the value. Last time we were there (four years ago), it had recently flooded so we did not utilize the water section too much. This time, we used the beach/swimming section each day. Beautiful sunsets too. Showers were clean. People stayed to themselves. It is close to Nashville and other touristy places but far enough away to feel like you are still camping. Can't recommend this place enough. They only ways to make it better would be to put sewers in (which as a state place, I know they won't) and wifi. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.
