Two thumbs down. The bathrooms are filthy and the campsites are uneven and narrow. The electric boxes were going out no one around to fix them. Very disappointed that KOA is associated with this place. We camped at Natchez Trace KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

First of all the roads to get there are a challenge with a bigger rig. Lots of hilly, narrow, and winding roads. Like many Thousand Trails parks they are not easy to get to. Once again, you arrive and hope for good luck finding a site since nothing is guaranteed. You may have a 40' rig and all that's left is a 30' site and that's just your tough luck. The office staff was very friendly. We start through the park looking for a site and within a short distance come up on huge steep grade hills. We unhooked our tow vehicle just because I have never had to climb such a hill with our RV and had no idea what to expect. But, I will say I had no problem going up, but all the interior roads are terrible, lots of pot holes. We found a pull through site that was just okay but it was level. 30 amps only through out the park so you better hope it is not too hot outside. Our picnic table was rotted and warped wood and the concrete patio was broken and cracked all over. Electricity seemed weak, but I did not test it. They have a lake and beach area, but they were out of kayaks or canoes the day day we wanted to rent one. We left early as there was nothing about this place that was fun for us. We did meet the new manager that just arrived, and after speaking with him felt comfortable that he was going to do all he could to improve this park. I would not return to this place. We camped at Natchez Trace KOA in a Motorhome.

Natchez Trace KOA is not a typical KOA. It seems like they have partnered with Thousand Trails who sells camp sites in the Natchez Trace Wilderness Preserve. KOA people check you in, give you a map that shows the section where they have 81 KOA sites of the advertised 653 sites, and they tell you "take any one". It is a mile or so over broken, pot holed asphalt. Up on a ridge. Far away from the lake, store, facilities, amenities. Sites are water (20 PSI) and electric (106 volts under load), concrete patio, table, and grill. Wash-outs are common and can make site access difficult if not impossible. You can see that the effort to develop this place was a long time ago and nature has taken its course since then. As an overnight stop with laundry, it was acceptable for us, with no car. To stay here for any period would require a golf cart, car or truck. In this way you could get to the good stuff to offset the negatives. We camped at Natchez Trace KOA in a Motorhome.
