Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $32.00
small mom and pop operation, well maintained. good 50 amp, let water run as it was quite rusty, plugged up my filter and had a swampy taste. slow wifi, no cell phone service either AT&T or Verizon. Satellite Tv ok,. Alvin C. York home was 6 miles away. Lots of winding roads to get there. We camped at Maple Hill RV Campground in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Alvin C. York ( Sgt York, military hero) home was nearby.
Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $31.00
We spent one night while visiting the Sgt York park. The owners were very nice and friendly. The park was very quiet when we were there with some road noise from the adjacent highway. The TV cable had a good selection and worked well. Internet was a little slow at times but better than most. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Maple Hill RV Campground in a Motorhome.
The campground was so clean and quiet. We sat outside and enjoyed all the nature sounds. The sites are super nice and clean. We had all kinds of room on our site. We are looking forward to visiting again. Thanks for a super stay. We camped at Maple Hill RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $10.00
The rate is based upon a month long stay, less the charge for electric. There are brand new owners and they are working hard to make this a great campground. The sites are level, we easily fit our 60' rig in one spot. Motorcycle and pet friendly, the owners went out of the way to help us out in any way, even storing packages for us when we were gone a couple of days. The only reason it's not a 10 is the standing water with heavy rains...and they are working on that. We plan visit again next year! We camped at Maple Hill RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is extremely well maintained. The hook-ups were all in good repair. The owners were friendly and helpful. The entire atmosphere was relaxing. This fits my personal idea of what a campground should be like. We camped at Maple Hill RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $25.00
This is a beautiful campground located on 127 north. New owners are very friendly, they took over in August of 2009. They have cleaned up the park very nice. There are cabins now for rent. A must see if visiting the 127 area. We camped at Maple Hill RV Campground in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $11.00
Very small campground, ran by resident owners, who are very nice and helpful. Several long term units, a couple are rather rough in appearance. This park accepts Passport America, so that is the rate shown. We stayed two nights. I do not advise heading north on US 127 until re-built after present road contruction. It has very steep grades and no shoulders. We camped at Maple Hill RV Campground in a Motorhome.
