Loved it! Small park, but ample space to park and maneuver your rig. My site was right on the water - the sound of the water flowing at night was comforting - not quite as good as the beach, but darn close! The staff was extremely helpful and the park was clean. I would absolutely stay here again..but off-season..I imagine it fills up quickly during the summer. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Riverpark to attend the races in Bristol. Great check-in and escort to the site. Nice level large corner site. Very peaceful being across the street from the river. Great TV and WiFi connections. We ate breakfast at the onsite restaurant Saturday morning and it was very good. Very clean bathhouse / Showers. A great value. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This was an over night stay on our way south. Our spot was very level, gravel and long enough we did not have to unhook the car. Antenna tv was good, as were the power and water. It is a small campground and the sites along the river had trees. The pull through sites are treeless. They also have a couple of little cabins. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Motorhome.

Campground sits directly on the Nolichucky River. They have a few sites overlooking the river. The area is beautiful and serene. Both back-in and pull through sites are available. Not all sites level -ours was off a bit. Owners are super friendly. WiFi is great! We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Motorhome.

Really great full hookup RV sites along the rushing river. Utilities were flawless. Wifi was mostly good. Cable was good except no Fox News. Had to be very careful maneuvering around bounders. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground is 5 miles off of main highway but easy to locate. Most sites for overnighters is back in but easy access to site. We were placed in a back in with the river showing outside our rear window. When checking in I saw the price chart for other sites were $35.00. When asked they said they were the only ones available so the rate was $45.00. Good Sam discount but taxes brought it back to 45.00. There were 4-5 $35.00 that went unfilled overnight. Makes me wonder if they did this on purpose. Our site had 30 amp only and there were NO breakers to turn power off and own. Power was adequate. There is a restaurant for breakfast on site open from 7:00-2:00 pm. Wi-Fi was good and a large number of cable channels available. All hookups were in center of sites and easy to access. Be very careful when entering park as a fence juts out and easy to hit your rig. Because of the fence the entrance is narrow. Turns are a little tight because they have placed large boulders on the roads that are low and easy to hit. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a clean park. The site is pretty level, easy to get to. The park is in a beautiful place, has the river running right beside it & even in March (before any thing blooms) just beautiful scenery. The couple that have the park are very nice & very helpful...enjoyed just visiting with them. They have a small grill that serves a good breakfast at a reasonable rate...didn't eat lunch while we were there. The WIFI is EXCELLENT! Will always stay here when we come back next year! We spent two nights here in the spring, on our way to Ohio - we were so impressed, we just spent two more nights here on the way back. We stayed in a river site (#29 - had #30 in the spring) which costs $10 extra, but to us, is well worth it. We would like to spend a week or more here next summer - it is a little gem of a park! The food in their diner is tasty as well. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here to escape the Heat in SC. It's a beautiful park on the Nolichucky river. Nice size sites. Maneuvering in a 40 ft MH was a little tight but manageable. The sites right on the river are worth the premium.

The wifi was above average. AT&T cellular signal was -110 to -120db...equal to 1 bar.

Maybe we just got a bad batch but the firewood was the most green we've had in a long time. I'd find someplace else locally to buy it. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Motorhome.

We decided to pay the extra $10 for a riverfront site; it was money well spent! We were in site #30 right next to the rapids - it was quite noisy (the water) but we didn't mind. We will stay here again on the way back to FL in the fall. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at this CG for three days and really enjoyed our time there. When you pull in there are a few worker RVs near the road but they are all very neat and well kept. You go down a slight & narrow hill to the rest of spots. Many are right on the Nolichucky River and very have a very relaxing atmosphere. I will say while we were there - there were only two or three other RVs that showed up - just for overnight. It appears the river is a bit low and a lot of limbs and stuff are up on the bank. With the weather getting nicer I am sure they will be picking us these things. The wifi is very good and the cable was alright. The quality was good, but there were not a lot of choices. I did think the price was a little high for this area. There are no pools, playground or things like that. I think because of access to the river this place probably is pretty busy during the summer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay - quite and pretty much by ourselves. We would definitely come again. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Motorhome.

Pleasant little park on Nochucky River. Ours was a pull through with full hookups with a good view of the river. All utilities worked well including wifi. Check in staff was gruff. Entry is interesting. Only room for one rig and coming in you must maneuver around a building on the left and a fence on the right. Once in, you either stop in a flat area or park in the one lane road going down toward the river. As long as there is no other traffic, it is doable. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a gem in the rough. It's one of the two best campgrounds we've ever stayed at in our many years of camping. Don't let the entry area fool you, you are entering paradise. All the sites near the Nolichucky River are nice, but the ones right on the river are majestic. We sat from ours watching the rushing water go past along with quiet rafters and fisherman. The sites are large and shaded but you will need to disconnect your towed vehicle in advance. Sites are back-in. If you have a larger (over 37 ft) motorhome or trailer, be sure to let the owners know in advance to give you a site adequate for you. Registration must be done by phone and they didn't require a deposit. We were a little uncomfortable with that arrangement, but would go back again anytime now that we've stayed here once. There was a group in one section of the campground, but we never knew they were there. We talked to the owner and he said he is very careful on who stays and keeping the area quiet and clean. If you want to enjoy the sounds of the river or the wind or the birds singing, while enjoying a book or casting for fish, this is the place for you. Dont' drive fast when you get close to the campground or you may miss it. There is another campground called River's Edge nearby. But its worth the drive to Riverpark. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out the oldest town in Tennessee, Johnsborough. There's lots of American history within the area if you want to leave the campground (which will be hard to do).

I concur with recent reviews. This is a small but great campground for a getaway. The park was immaculate and the owners were very visible working on upkeep. My only hesitation for this park would be for larger big rigs (40+) as it's a little bit tight to get in the entrance and down to the river sites. Several sites are big enough for any size rig. Satellite access is good for the pull-throughs, and they have cable if you can't get satellite. ATT signal was usable but weak. Verizon worked well. Park Wi-Fi was good but dropped off at times. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an exceptionally clean and well-maintained campground. It is also our ideal of a campground - it's quiet, sites are roomy, and we had one with full hook-ups right on the river. There are also no intrusive streetlights if you want to stargaze. Keep in mind, if you have kids, there is no pool and no playground. The few kids we saw were having a great time playing in the woods and riding bikes. We will definitely return often to this beautiful, restful place!
