Top notch KOA. Friendly staff, well stocked campstore, meticulously clean. Sites are level, paved and roomy. Wi-Fi was fair- would cut out after awhile, but that is usual everywhere. Easy aces to interstate, Opryland and downtown. Plenty of places to eat nearby. My only negative is te laundry room. They have 9 washers and dryers, but the dryers are stacked on top of the washers, instead of grouping the washers together and dryers together. The room is small and narrow. If there is no one else using them, not much of a problem. But when I went back to get my clothes out of the dryer, there was someone loading the washers under my clothes, so it was very hard to get at my things. The room only had 3 people in it and there was no room to fold my clothes. Price was $2.00 for both wash and dry. Very poor set up. Otherwise, that is the only negative. Very nice KOA. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We are golfers- went to Gaylord Springs Golflink. Excellent, challenging par 4 course! Beautifully manicured, best greens we have seen in a long time. Nice staff, beautiful clubhouse, well stocked Pro shop. Very nice practice facilities. A must do if you golf!

Lot of repair work on the entrance road. The entrance was on a detour onto one of the inner roadways. This caused a four vehicle backup on the narrow roadway. Took several minutes for someone to come up and say it was OK to stay where we were and make the trek to the office. The girl that helped me was not exactly a ray of sunshine. I would give her a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale for cheerfulness. No escort to our site like I'm accustomed to here. Site was level, long, and easy to get in and out of. It was a little tight getting out of the CG thru the temporary exit due to the road alignment. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed during an odd time I believe; the park is under construction (new cabins, new pool, new playground, entrance driveway, and check-in parking lot). When we pulled in, after being on the road for 10 hours, there was a long line to check in as the check-in parking lot is being repaved and is closed. After the 45 minute check-in process, there was no one to lead us to our site so my husband found it and led me in. Sites are nice, clean, and not too close together for a KOA. This campground is right on the highway but really was not that loud. It's a 5-minute drive to the Opry, where we went one night, and only ~25 minutes to Lower Broadway for the honky tonks, the Ryman, and the Riverfront. Good location for the park. The bathrooms are were clean and well-maintained and looked newly-remodeled. The showers are all single-rooms and also looked like they were renovated somewhat recently. Wi-Fi was good, as was the cable. The cost was by far the highest we have ever paid at a KOA and we've stayed at many all across the country. The killer was a $10 charge per child per day. That added $80 to our fees, but we got nothing in return. Due to the time of year and construction, there was nothing for my children to do there other than play at the basketball court, which needed to be repaved, with our own basketball, as the campground did not supply one. Ridiculous. The other campers were mostly retired folks in big rigs but like in most campgrounds we met some very nice folks and enjoyed talking travel. Sites were level. Wood was $10 a bundle. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out the Donut Den for a treat, worth the calories.

This is usually a nice park with several amenities. We have stayed at this park before and had a wonderful deluxe site with nice patio furniture and a fire pit. This stay our deluxe site (same price as before) only had a picnic table and fire ring and the sites were closer together. We paid more for the deluxe site thinking we would get what we had before so we were disappointed. Another disappointment was that the park was under construction so the entering/exiting is a bit confusing as well as they tore out the dog park that our lab really looks forward to exercising in and replaced it with blacktop. The playground and pool were also torn out, the basketball court and outdoor chess/bowling were still usable. This campground does have a nice office/store with a small restaurant window for breakfast and lunch. I am glad this was not our first visit to the park or we would probably not be going back. The nightly rate ($10 for each additional person after the first two) is extremely high especially when most of the facilities are under construction. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Nashville is a fun place for restaurants, bars, and shopping. Jack's BBQ is wonderful, across from Bridgestone Arena. Shuttles are available from the park but we drove to downtown and didn't have any trouble finding parking. Gaylord Opryland Hotel is nice to walk through the indoor gardens but parking is pricey! Opryland mall is nice but crowded.

We booked ahead and reserved a site long enough for our motorhome and toad, but they put us on a too-short 40 foot site when we got there. There is road work being done in the park, and that makes navigating a little difficult. They had people escorting incoming RVs, but they did not seem to be enjoying their duties. This is a large campground close to the Grand Ole Opry, so I guess that's why they get away with charging as much as they do. There was a shuttle service that we took at our expense to get to the Opry. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice KOA! The park is huge. We were there a couple of weeks before Christmas and it was amazing. The office staff was very friendly and professional. Check in was quick with an escort to our site with an offer to help hook up. All utilities were good, about 65 lbs of water pressure, Amos and voltage where stable. We stayed in one of the premium sites with the patio and patio furniture. The site was level and paved. They are building a new swimming pool which should be done soon. The club house has a nice store, nice laundry, pool table, ping pong, and checker boards, outside there are life size Chess boards and some type of outdoor bowling lanes, lots to do in the area with the grand ol Opry and Opry mills mall and Bass Pro Shop just blocks away. Very nice RV park, we will be back. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed two nights to visit friends. Campground gets its rating because of its location. There are a lot of sites but the associated facilities and services are very limited. It wouldn't be a park to spend a lot of time in. The pool is very small, the bath houses are small, the campsites are close together. We had a deluxe site. It was a grass site. The site was not long enough that our car could stay attached to our 40' coach. Cable worked well, Internet was slow. The place was very nicely maintained. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Located very close to Opryland Hotel. Tours depart from campground. Two RV dealers; one a Camping World adjacent to park.

This is our second time staying here & although pricey, it is very convenient to the Grand Ole Opry (basically across the street) which is reason for the trips. The deluxe patio sites are definitely more spacious and easily entered & exited. This trip we just had a regular pull thru site that just barely fit the 35ft coach and tow. Exiting the park was a different story; very narrow roads with tight turns. Because back ins didn't have room for vehicles; they were parked in road & made it difficult to maneuver, especially on turns.

This park is well maintained and convenient to interstate. Can be noisy if staying along fence line by entrance to park. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This location is not close to Downtown Nashville. It's about a 20 min drive to get there but well worth it. Have lunch at Rippys on Broadway; good barbecue & listen to some great live country music. Walking around, you'll hear great music coming out of all the bars/restaurants.

This is a nice park with a lot of trees. We needed an extra long site to accommodate our RV and trailer and this place met that and then some. Premium pull through sites are the longest we've ever seen. We were right next to the highway so there was road noise but it didn't bother us. The park is extremely dark at night making it a little difficult to find your way around, especially if walking to the office. We arrived after the office closed. When I called to change our reservation earlier in the week, I asked for their closing time and they said 8:00. I started calling at about 6:00 for after hour arrival instructions and the message said the next representative would be right with me. I held for almost 20 minutes. Ends up they closed at 6:00 but message didn't state that. When we arrived, it took me forever to figure out where the instructions for getting to our site were. If you arrive late, look in the silver box on the wall. I would have rated this park higher if the staff were friendly but they were not. Both on the phone and in person were not good experiences. Wifi was non-existent. I heard a clerk telling someone it was slow because people were downloading movies and I find that hard to believe. We'd stay here again but only because the sites are long enough for us. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cock of the Walk restaurant is right next door and has great catfish. They are open for dinner only except on Sunday when they also serve lunch.

You can arrange tours and shuttles in the park lobby with a third party service.

Very costly for a RV Park. Was told they only had one spot with super patio. When we got there and paid and went to spot had numerous spots empty. Would never stay there again. Some Shade at asphalt site. Fire Ring - Picnic Table - Patio We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed here a week for the iRV2 Rally 2015. We got a premium site I2. It is very nice. They pick up your trash once a day. The site has a stamped concrete patio with very nice firepits. We were towards the back so we did not hear the Briley Parkway highway noise. This campground is getting ready to tear out the swimming pool and build a new one with a whirlpool also. Next summer will be very nice. We will definitely come back to this park. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Very close to the Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills shopping center and lots of restaurants.

We had one of the middle tier of sites. Pull-thru. Sites were spacious. Campground was lovely. Store was well stocked and laundry was clean and tidy. Our site was far enough away from the road that it did not bother us. Some of the sites were right under the road. Easy to get to off 155. While it is a little longer going around Nashville this was a good choice because the traffic moved very quickly. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

The construction we noted last year is completed, and although very expensive, the patio sites they put in are among the nicest RV sites anywhere. I would rate it higher but there is quite a bit of noise from the Briley Parkway near the property. when we checked in, they only had one person working the desk and it sometimes can get backed up a little and require a wait. We would stay there again. I know the RV parks nearby are priced lower, but when we glance in at them, they seem awfully crowded. Our space was near one of the rest room buildings and the air conditioner ontop of the building made noise all night long and in the future, I would request being further away from those buildings.
WiFi doesn't work well, but I'm finding that Wifi doesn't seem to work well at many RV parks. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Best place to stay when seeing the Grand Old Opry. Going downtown to honky tonk row and events requires a 20 minute drive. They do have a shuttle from the KOA to downtown. I recall it was $10 each way per person.

Upgraded our site to paved pull thru with nice outdoor furniture already on site. Pool was great, some shade and cable tv. Only downside was my wifi only got a signal in the middle of the night! Dog park wasn't huge but enough to throw the ball. Major plus having someone to help you get tickets, inform you of things to see and the shuttle to downtown was perfect. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Again the shuttle to downtown was great I just wish there was a convenient grocery store in the area.
