The nicest KOA we have stayed at. Nice grounds, pool, spa, bathrooms and laundry. Next time, I might choose a premium site. Our full hookup site was dirty and muddy when it rained. Mail was a big issue for us here. Site registered in wife's name. They received her mail but send mine back (they had no way to register me as a guest). It took 3 tries to get important bank documents!!! We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

We chose to stay here due to the location to Opry Land and that shuttles come here and pick you up for your trips. We were escorted to our site. They have a person on hand that can make reservations to many things in the area. Personnel were very helpful. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

I would recommend the hop on/hop off which picks you up at the park. We visited the Country Hall of Fame and Johnny Cash Museum one day. We went to the Opry County Classics show in the Ryman Auditorium one evening. We also went to Belle Meade Plantation and Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson. So much more to do here but we ran out of time. We will go back.

One of the nicest KOA's we have stayed in. Very clean (grounds) sites are large with shade. Check in was easy and staff will do anything to make you feel at home. Large pool and Hot Tub. Sites were not stacked up on top of each other, plenty of room for slides. Camping World close by as well as Opry and shopping. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

We had a great stay here and would return in the future...we were on a full hook up back in site which was level and their were no issues with the utilities... the facilities were great and they were kept clean at all times...plenty to do for kids and the pool facility was large with plenty of lounge chairs, shaded areas and a large hot tub...All the staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful...the shuttle service to downtown was great at $10 round trip with multiple times to go and return so you could enjoy the area at your leisure...we will be returning in the future. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $87.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in site J1, although it was at the entrance, it was pretty quiet. The only noise was from the airport. Some of the larger planes were noticeable. It's a large park. The sites are spacious and ours was long enough that we didn't have to unhook our tow when entering or leaving. The only problem we seen was the width of the roads. It was evident in all the corners that some folks had trouble making the turns as there were plenty of ruts in those places. The park had plenty to do for kids. We'd loved to have gotten out and checked more out, but it literally rained the entire time we were there. The grounds people were on site to take new arrivals to their sites. The staff in the office was competent and polite. I had inquired about a late check out but was told it was not possible due to being booked up. I didn't believe them at first, but later on that weekend I seen they were. When we pulled out there was a line of motorhomes waiting to get in, several hours before check in. Quite possibly one of the nicest KOA offices I have ever seen. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Opry Mills is really close. Plenty of places to eat. At Opry Mills we enjoyed the Bavarian Bierhause. It was a unique experience. They had live entertainment and plenty on tap to try. Imagine a German beer garden and that's what it is.

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

The campground appeared renovated within the past few years, (probably as the result of the 2010 flood), clean and up to date. The staff is great, professional, helpful and friendly. The paved roads are nice and the sites are flat and clean with nice tables and chairs. There are no signs on the roads to indicate directions to rows or sites. We had to guess how to get out as they do not permit you to drive between the rental cabins. They placed large rocks at the end of several roads that make it difficult to turn big rigs and tow vehicles. The website indicates they have internet, but it's useless. we could not connect at all. The bathrooms are clean, but the water temperature regulation is horrible. We used the shower in the building next to the rental cabins the first morning it barely got above lukewarm. My wife had a better experience in the same facility, but could not dry her hair there. We decided to use the showers in the main building the second day and had the opposite situation. My shower was fine and hers was cold, but she could dry her hair. For a place that costs as much as they charge, KOA should do better. If it were not for the restroom problems we would have rated this facility as a 10. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Grand old Opry at Gaylord's was fun. Eight dollars and 50 Cent Uber ride each way. They have a shuttle to Broadway in town for $10 round-trip per person. Worked out great and got to see the country music Hall of Fame and a lot of live music.

Overall Rating:

The campground is newer, very clean and looks great. The staff is professional, helpful and very friendly. The paved roads are nice and the sites are flat and clean with nice tables and chairs. KOA corpoarate owns the property and it shows in the lack of any obvious deferred maintenance. Unfortunately, KOA seems satisfied with simply checking the boxes. There are no signs on the roads to indicate directions to rows or sites. We had to guess where we were based on the map and it was very difficult to drive in the first night we arrived after closing. They placed large rocks at the end of several roads that make it difficult to turn big rigs and tow vehicles. Why they did that I cannot figure out. KOA claims to offer internet, but it's useless. In the three days we were there we could not connect once. The staff acknowledged the problem and suggested we come into office "where the internet is better." The bathrooms are clean, but the showers are the size of a couch cushion and the shower heads don't shift so you can't get out of the water spray to suds up. The shelf in the shower is the size of your hand so it's impossible to place anything more than a soap box on it. You have to wonder if anyone from corporate has ever stayed there and used the facilities or driven a rig in at night. For a place that costs as much as they charge, KOA should do much better to protect their brand. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here previously and find it a good place to stop and visit Nashville while enroute. They are in the process of upgrading sites and the difference is appreciated. Quite a few sites are in the trees but there are some nice sites on paved pads with clear sky which is good for satellite. The office area has a very nice clubhouse with plenty of games and sitting areas. Probably the only negative we have is the campground is down a long frontage road but its only a minor peeve. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

This campground was easy to locate, just follow your Garmin. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Interior roads are paved but narrow. Deluxe sites are long, paved and level with decent spacing between sites. Full hookups are properly located and worked as expected. WIFI worked well. Verison service had three bars. CATA TV worked fine. Lots of places to walk the dog. This campground has grass and lots of mature trees. Some extended stay residents but lots of transient sites also. This is a good place to camp. We'd stay here again. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a shuttle to downtown Nashville that will pick you up at the campground and bring you back for $10. This was a reliable service. br Deluxe patio sites are pricey. The less expensive sites looked fine to me, just not paved. Propane is available on site.

Just stayed overnight. Very close to interstate. Loud traffic noise. Big rig with tow barely fit on site. Threads on water connection were damaged. Over priced like most KOAs. Traffic signage was poor when exiting. Couldn't connect to wifi. Cable was good. I would only stay again if I had to and certainly for not longer than overnight. Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were very tight. Due to construction to add new facilities, there was no dog park. The construction crew cut the cable. For the five days we were there we had no cable We inquired several times as to when it would be repaired and received nasty responses from staff. When we asked what we were paying $70.00 a night for, one clerk's response was "not cable" and then laughed. We asked another worker the following day and he snapped at us and said he was just a workamper and we had to talk to the office. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. Not once did anybody apologize for the inconvenience or offer some kind of refund or discount for a future stay. If I'm paying $70.00 a night I expect more amenities and more courtesy. It was very disappointing. We left a day earlier than planned and will not stay there again. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
